I have been using this company for over 15 years now for multiple building plumbing related issues and never had a problem. I don't think I can call this luck. Do they run into jobs that can have surprises? You bet and so do I, its all part of the business. End result job gets done right my team is happy and that makes me happy.

Absolutely be on your guard. In fact, look elsewhere. I had work that needed to be done in two bathrooms -- specifically two toilets. I also asked them to look at possible clogged sink. Young guy came out did the work. However, he replaced an entire flush-o-meter when my super said he only needed to replace a small part of it (that increased labor and time to my bill). Then the other toilet, he did a terrible job -- it ended up re-leaking again around the base. Two other nice guys had to come out a second time to do the work over again -- they didn't charge for this as they shouldn't have. As for the sink, I was standing next to first guy when he turned it on and the stuff I had thrown down the sink had cleared up the clog SO HE DID NOT HAVE TO UNCLOG IT. The bill came in and they charged me for unclogging the sink ($225!). I called up and got the office manager. She is a piece of work. She accused me of lying!! She said ""my guy says he unclogged a sink, are you calling my guy a liar?!"" She was so nasty so I said to her ""He did NOT have to unclog my sink. You're saying I'm a liar??"" She said she would contact that plumber and I said go ahead and she said but he's out on a job now. Remember those two young guys that had to come back to fix my still-leaking toilet -- they told me the first guy that messed up the job had been fired and I new this but didn't want to get the two guys in trouble so I didn't let on i knew he'd been fired. So the bull-dog in the office said she would speak to the guy (that had been fired). In the end, they removed the $225 from my very large and over-charged bill. Nasty woman. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND WATCH OUT FOR THE OFFICE WrENCH.

GC Plumbing really made me look good! I just got hired as a new property manager for dozens of buildings in Queens-Brooklyn-Manhattan and transitioned to GC Plumbing. They saved the day and I got commended for getting the problem fixed right away (really thanks to them)!

Not sure if I just got lucky finding them or what but I am sure glad it worked out.

First things first -- they were hired by my building's management, so I don't know what they charged and can only speak to the quality of their work. It's an old building with old pipes, and after they located a big hole in a big drain under my floor, they had to come back the next day to find and fix a leak in the wall of an apartment above me. Since they worked fast, knew what to do (Zeff seemed like a total pro), and were very careful with clean up, that was enough for 4 stars. They were also really polite and willing to explain what was wrong and how it was being fixed, so I'd like to give them 5, but I care a lot about what things cost and I don't know what they'd have charged me if I was the homeowner so only 4.

This is one of the best plumbing business out there. The quality of the work is impeccable. Definitely recommend to people looking for a consistent plumbing company.

Unbelievably expensive . Had no hot water and they came to check it the first time and said that national grid disconnected us (in between tenants) but still charged $900. The week later national grid reconnected us but it was still not working. They came again and this time said that the ignitor isn't working, which they could have checked in the first place and save me the $700 for the second visit. $1600 for what?!

If their work is as bad as their driving avoid them at all cost. This van cut off several people this morning. Almost causing 2 accidents. If they can't be bothered to drive safe imagine how little they care.
