While G.A. Eberly did not necessarily do any substantial work on my home, I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service, promptness, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices.

I had a tankless water heater go out in the coldest stretch of winter. My thermostat (we have radiator heating) was reading 41 degrees. When calling companies on 12/28, I was being told by many they couldn't see me until early January.

G.A. Eberly took my call and checked with their maintenance team to see how they could fit me in on the same day. They had a lead technician (Steven) hop on the phone and get information about what I was experiencing, before finding a way to slot me in. Steven even called back about 30 minutes later to offer a quick fix solution to see if we could get our heat back on. Excellent service!

Chris was the technician dispatched. He came on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was friendly, helped get a fix in place, and was out the door in no time. I was happy with the price paid for what essentially amounted to a service call, even though he helped fix my issue.

Excellent experience working with them. They seemed very comfortabe with my tankless system. I will be calling them again if I need any additional work done...I hate having to call the ""big guys"" and roll the dice with their questionable service. Never again. Thanks G.A. Eberly.

Absolutely the best plumbing company in the area. Materials & Labor very reasonable, and each time I've had an emergency, they come out within an hour. You'll be glad you hired them.

This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!! I called Jo Eberly last winter because of frozen water pipes and radiators. That was January 2018, now July 2018 still not fixed. She sent two plumbers last winter to fix frozen pipes in the cellar, she told me they turned off the water line and stopped the leak temporarily. I had to call her again because the cellar was full of water again. She sent out another plumber and he told me the the previous plumbers she sent never capped the lines so that was why the cellar was flooded with a foot of water. That is how it has been dealing with her. She told me I had to pay for the radiators before she could order them. I hand carried the check to her office for the services (which 1/2 the charges were her plumbers incompetence). She told me few months back that she picked up my radiators and it was in her shop. I have been trying to arrange a date to install the radiators. She won't return phone calls, emails, doesn't give me any information. I don't think she has my radiators that I paid for. I call her office to speak with her three times a week, leave her messages, sent emails still nothing...... Its already mid July. Getting ready to call again. Do not use this company, you will regret it. Had I known I would still be dealing with this in July, I would have waited the extra 5 days last winter for another plumbing company. Hire at your own risk!!!!! Had to rate one star to post, but I would give this company a negative 5.

I used them to replace a water heater part. They did not have the part in their truck and charged me twice for a $125 service call. Tried to talk with Jo (owner?) about the absurdity of this, they wouldn't budge and Jo wouldn't speak with me directly.

I should have taken this as a warning and not gone back to them...but I decided to call them again when I had a leak in the basement. They ""repaired"" it by slapping concrete around the water main entry area and months later when it was leaking again, I asked them to come back and do a better job of sealing it. Didn't expect to be charged again when they came back to fix what they should have fixed the first time, but they did. Jo refused to speak with me about the issue and refused to budge on the $150 charge. They said it needed to be repaired from the outside. Funny, they didn't even walk outside. So I had another plumber come out and they found the issue was poor drainage outside ($10 fix), and then I re-sealed the area inside by myself with an inexpensive injection repair kit. So now in addition to price gouging, I seriously question the experience level of their technicians.

I'd been a loyal customer for years with at least $2,000 of business given to them. Now I will never use them again.

Eberly is a family run plumbing company you can count on! We had a plumber walk off the job, said it was too difficult for him. Someone from Eberly came out the next day and finished the job, no problem! That is the service we continue we receive
from them. Too, they're very reasonable!

This was a great customer experience and I'd recommend G.A. Eberly to friends and family!

On a Monday morning I was able to call them and quickly diagnose the problem with my sink, thanks to the help of the nice woman who answered the phone. She dispatched their technicians who were at my home in NW DC less than 5 hours later!

Two very friendly and professional technicians arrived and fixed the problem fast! They even took the time to help me put a few pieces of pipe back together that I'd fiddled with myself (free of charge!)

Couldn't be happier with both their prices and the quality of their service.
