If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your time or money with this company. They hold a shop vac up to the vent cover and claim that's cleaning the vents and ducts. I got up to look at my vents and they were covered in dirt and dust. None of the vent covers had been removed. I had to spend time scraping paint out of the screws to the vent covers to even get them loose and then had to use a utility knife to cut around the vent cover to get them off. I had suspected that the job had not been done, there was still black dust on my counter tops, stove top, and bathroom vanity that was blowing out of the vents. There are 7 vent covers in my house, NONE OF THEM WERE REMOVED! I ended up with a respiratory infection from doing the job that Furnace Universe claims they did. I've reported them to the BBB. They make excuses as to why they didn't do the job correctly. There was never any equipment or brushes that were sent down the duct work to clean as they claimed they were going to do. Imagine if I were an elderly person with health problems and trusted that they did the job they were paid to do and never checked the vents. It sickens me how dishonest this company is about the job they are going to do. When contacted about horrible job, all they do is give excuses as to why they didn't do their job. The tech Eric claimed that he found out his brother had passed away just before he got to the appointment and thats why he didn't do the job properly. If that were the case then he should have called and said "" I've had a death in the family, im going to have to re-schedule, sorry for the inconvenience."" It wouldn't have mattered because they didn't have the right equipment to do the job they promised. He said that he would give a refund, which we have yet to see because these guys are scam artists. Do not hire them! Please look at the photos after they cleaned it, this is what you're breathing in after they supposedly clean your vents and ducts.

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt it was necessary. In terms of customer service, doing business with Furnace Universe was easy, personable, and friendly - they also have great response times. We hired them to do an air duct/dryer vent cleaning. However, I inspected the work after they visited and our vents were not clean (see pictures attached). In fact, there was still paint over the vent covers which tells me that they were never removed them when they vacuumed. I guess the price was too good to be true. They need a serious upgrade in their equipment. Unfortunately, a shop vac isn't strong enough to get the job done - especially when you don't remove the vent covers :( My spouse and I had to spend about 4-5 hours cleaning our air ducts afterwards. That being said, I would like my money back.

**Note after Furnace Universe's response: It's true they weren't able to have access to one room, but why weren't the rest of the vents cleaned?? There were about 1/2"" of dirt behind the ducts and each vent. None of the vent covers we removed, the screws and covers were still sealed with paint. I asked for my money back and still have not received it.

Eric did a phenomenal job! He answered my questions. He was nice and polite. He helped make sure that we were comfortable with our services. Will definitely use him again! So glad that we have hot water now for our shower! Would definitely recommend him to my friends!!

Got a quote same day, and they came out the same day. Worked quickly and were very nice. Will have them back for work when we need it.

I made an appointment to clean and inspect my furnace. Eric was very responsive after I made the appointment that same day. He confirmed my address and showed up during his designated window. He accomplished the work quickly and gave me a full report of what he found. He only charged $44 so best value out there.
