Firstly, do not bother calling this company, they will price gouge to the fullest extent, to a point that is so incredibly unreasonable, you will just laugh. I had a propane gas leak at a union joint, located in an easy spot to repair; on an outside wall. $4,100. yeah, $4,100. I almost choked, I mean this is $20 part, which they were charging $800 for. plus 2.5 hours of work. So, they're charging over $1,000 per hour for labor, and 40x for the part. average cost to repair a leaking gas line in an easy to access area is quoted at about $400, nationally. 10x the national average; welcome to greedy capitalism. my recommendation? learn to do it yourself and save $4,000. they wanted me to sign something saying i essentially refused to pay the service fee of $69. what the what?!
unprofessional at best, thieves at worst. go somewhere else.

Pricey but worth the cost if you want something done fast and well. After leaving call back numbers and messages with numerous plumbers in Whatcom County who didn't respond, said they were too busy or demanded weeks of lead time for a relatively simple job, Full Speed Plumbing provided next-day service by way of Luke who arrived early, did what was required in rapid time and helped lug some old appliances to the garage.

We had a terrible experience with Full Speed Plumbing. We called them out to repair a gas tankless hot water heater. We had no hot water, and it was during the ice storm in December. The estimate to thaw out a condensation line which was frozen up on the water heater was over $2,000. The technician said this might not fix the problem, and, of course, the work was not guaranteed. He could, however, replace the hot water heater for $16,000. With discounts and a revision of the original estimate, we ended up paying a little under $13,000. We were shocked at the costs. I asked the technician if their prices were comparable to other plumbing companies as I was considering getting more bids. He stated that their pricing was competitive with other plumbing companies. He then stated that other plumbing companies he knew were about two weeks out on their work. Christmas was 2 days away, and I thought we would be without hot water with family coming for the holiday. He said they could do the work the next day, but I would have to pay one-half down and the other half upon completion. We are a retired couple on a fixed income so this was a huge expenditure which I felt I was talked into. The company does not break down their estimates. The cost of the tankless hot water heater which we had installed is just under $2,000. So, we ended up paying over $10,000 for parts and labor. After some research, the average installation cost for a tankless hot water heater which includes the unit, parts, and labor is between $850 and $4,400. I am a very thrifty person so I am sick about being talked into this overpriced installation. I wrote a complaint letter to the company but received no response. I am sorry I used this company and did not get additional bids for the job.

I called them to move a vanity to the opposite side of the bathroom and put the Jacuzzi on the other side. They charged me $76 for the bid. The bid was over $15,000. Don't pay the estimate fee, or sign for it. They will gouge you! The next bid was $2500 for the same work, that is what other contractors told me the plumbing should cost. I explained that the technician told me it would be a day and a half of work. That means $1000 per hour. The gal said ""oh no we don't charge that much we quote the job, not by the hour"". I was also told ""good luck finding someone else that will start now. I guess you can do what ever you want in life if you are willing to pay the price. The price for you Full Speed Plumbing, is people calling you out! I I

I called for some leak repairs under my home after a flood event. The crew that is replacing the insulation and heating ducts noted some small leaks and a cracked soil pipe. The estimate I was given was $40,000 for a complete repiping. $25000 to fix the small leaks. I paid the $76 estimate fee.Hey if they didn't the job ok. Other companies bid $ 1850 Nice try for a rip off . I would never recomend this company. last time I used them they had to return to fix a gas leak on a hot water heater they installed.

I had a horrible experience with Full Speed Plumbing today.

The technician showed up 2 hours late. He gave me a quote for over $2500, before tax, to unclog a sewer line.

I am no plumbing expert, but google says

""The national average cost to unclog a main sewer line is between $350 and $650, with most people paying around $475 to clean a mid-sized clog by hydro jetting the main sewer pipe between a house and municipal main line.""

So, Full Speed Plumbing tried to charge me five times the national average.

I told the tech I would not pay him $2500 for the service. He charged me $110 for the inspection and then left.

I rented a drain snake from Home Depot for $60 and unclogged the sewer in 20 minutes.

Please keep in mind about this company.

Full Speed Plumbing estimates are 4.6 - 4.8 x as high as the competition. They do not provide ranges on the phone because unforseen problems. However, if ""normal"" job price will be 4-5x market.
They are unscrupulous. Luke claims 96% conversion ratio. Is that only for senior women who do not know the price of repairs?

I scheduled an appointment for my leaking outdoor faucet. I asked for a phone estimate and Amanda explained they charge market and don't provide the estimate on phone because the problem could be more involved. So, I had them come out at their next available day.

At the date of estimate Dec 2, 2022, I was quoted $1107.50 + tax, or $1204.96 to replace the faucet. The installation of a whirlpool tub was quoted at $8611.88 + tax and installing hardware was quoted at $3756.88+ tax. Prior to this estimate I already had an estimate for $2800 including replacing green board which was previously removed. Luke the estimator/ technician / licensed plumber explained this was on the higher end but his work was superior to the competition and he is also better looking. Luke required and estimate fee of $69.99 + tax.

Although the estimate was outrageous, I paid the $76.12 estimate fee. When I signed for the credit card charge, he said first did not work, so I resigned only to receive email stating satisfactory performance. I did not kn ow I signed that until I received the invoice.

On Dec 4, 2022, another Plumber performed the faucet replacement for $270 including tax and a 10% senior discount. The going rate is anywhere between $200 - $300. Full Speed Luke's estimate of $1204.96 was over 4.46 as high as Prodigy's actual charge of $270. Prodigy stated there was nothing out of the ordinary on this job.

My complaints are Full Speed Plumbing attempted to charge 4.46x and 4.8x as much for the whirlpool tub installation. I am a senior citizen and this is elder abuse.
Full Speed: Faucet job including tax $1204.96.
Prodigy Plumbing including tax $270.00
Full speed charged 4.46 as much as Prodigy. Both are licensed plumbers.
The bathtub was estimated at $2800 including tax by a General Contractor.
The bath tub was estimated by Full Speed at $3756.88+$8611.88 + 8.8% tax, equaling $12368.76 + 8.8% tax = $13,457.21. Full Speed Plumbing estimated 4.8 x as expensive as a general contractor who was to perform more work.

I spoke with the office and office manager about the unfair price gouging. However Full Speed , claimed I was committing blackmail if I posted a negative review because unhappy with outrageous estimate. That is not blackmail. Also, Full Speed wrote on estimate $0 for estimate. However, they charged separately $76.12 for the estimate.

I am giving 1 star because of the cost. Phenomenal. We just had a sink 'hooked' back up - we had all the supplies yet it cost almost 3k. Out of ignorance I paid it but doing my research after I found I was way over charged. They were able to come out right away - that was good and the plumber seemed nice enough and experienced. The cost though...

Blatant robbery. Shocking. I've had this work done numerous work done many times over the years. They won't provide an itemized estimate. ""We just put it all together."" So $2,295, WITH a 20% discount to unclog a sewer line and camera it. No choice! It had to be done plus I would have had to pay him $199 plus tax just to have him show up.
He did a thorough job (with my supervision.) Second time down with the camera because he forgot to show me the first time, this time he found some root intrusion 4 feet from the clean out. He cleared that by changing the tip on the jet auger. I asked him how much to replace just that small section of pipe, $4,500 to $5000.
I did some research. I'm using sewer pipe root killer. Environmentally safe.

And they canceled numerous times during the very time they were supposed to show up.
