[My first Yelp review - unsure why it lists me from San Fran. I'm in KC!]

Disappointed. Had a valve leaking at the top of our water heater. Tech came, ran a FULL diagnostic, replaced the valve, talked me into their yearly subscription, and left after collecting $700+. Next morning ... NO HOT WATER. They sent the tech back out, he blamed it on the age of the water heater and said it needed replacing at $3,500. If the water heater was going to go out immediately after the tech worked on it, shouldn't that FULL diagnostic have indicated that?

If you need a new water heater, save yourself A LOT of hassle and money ... call KC Water Heaters instead - much better service at less than half the price.

We've been (until now) a customer for seven or more years. the quality of the customer service has tanked as this company has grown. I am normally happy to support a local, veteran owned business but I feel like fan has gotten too big too fast. We've had at least 3 plumbers who've worked on our house and are no longer at FN - one was terminated in the midst of doing work for us - that was awkward! The quality has normally been fine, however we had an issue last summer with our sprinkler water line that had to be re-done a second time. Today we had service scheduled for the afternoon (which meant re-arranging work things to be available) and the staff called at 2:30 to say no one would be out. There was not even an apology let alone an offer to waive the service $49 fee! We are tentatively rescheduled for next week and sadly we'll likely move on to another company. We've been loyal customers and have spent upwards of $10k plus over the years...time to break up.

I am new to the area and contacted Full Nelson Plumbing Heating & Cooling based on most of the reviews I read for my specific issue which was a leak in my bathtub pipes. The plumbing technician arrived on time and completed the repair to my tub pipe quickly. It has been a couple of days and the repair seems successful. The tech, David, was polite and clearly explained what needed to be done. The cost was comparable to what I have paid in the former city where I lived. I plan to use their services in the future, too.

Had a furnace inspection scheduled and Full Nelson cancelled it because of some reason. Then it was rescheduled with a 4 hour window. I waited 4 hours and no one ever called. Finally they call but was going to be another hour. I just told them to forget it

I am an existing customer. Spent a few grand with them but that doesn't matter. I lost money on this deal. Never again

This place sent a man who did only a small portion of the work, charged for things he didn't do, and wouldn't give me an itemized bill. I'd give them zero stars if I could. A complete rip-off.

Cody did a fantastic job of checking our HVAC unit. He was very thorough and efficient. Cody is always friendly and very professional. We will have Full Nelson maintain our equipment for years to come.

I have been a customer of Full Nelson for several years now, and they are always extremely professional and helpful. A few weeks ago, I finally made the commitment to update my very old water heater, something I had been putting off for some time. Stephen arrived on time, and was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I asked questions. He thoroughly explained and demonstrated the new equipment, and made sure everything was working properly before considering the install complete. I'm thankful for his expertise and advice. And most importantly, I'm so happy to have continual hot water!

i signed up for their yearly subscription service that includes maintenance and inspection on the AC and Heater for each season as applicable. Cody came out to check out everything on the AC. He did a very thorough job and checked things that commonly go bad like capacitors and such.. of course checked the cooling temperature drop and refrigerant levels. He let me know my hot water heater had a slow leak on the pressure relief valve but didn't pressure me to fix it because it is in the garage and the water evaporates so it's no issue. told me to keep an eye on it though. He also cleaned the outside unit and it looks great. Cody was a great guy and I would trust him for any work or maintenance. We were talking about AC systems and I could tell that he knows his stuff!

After several attempts, Had David out to help unclog our sink drain with a snake. He was very professional & personable. Answered any plumbing questions & gave advice. Called with a time he'd be at the house. Laid tarps down, drained water, cleaned up. I'd recommend this company anytime. Will hang on to business card. Thank you!
