Mr. Michael S. Mansell established Full Nelson Plumbing Inc. in March 2003. Mrs. Heather Mansell became Vice President on December 10, 2012. In January 2018, the board appointed her as CEO and initiated the process to make Full Nelson a majority woman-owned business. Their vision has always centered on creating a service company prioritizing fair pricing, honesty, integrity, and overall customer satisfaction. In March 2019, the company acquired Elefson & Son's Heating & Cooling, which allowed for diversification and the addition of heating and cooling services. Mr. Dwight Elefson came on board and became the manager of the new HVAC division at Full Nelson PHC.

Michael ""Shawn"" Mansell found his calling in the apartment maintenance sector immediately after graduating high school. He picked up some plumbing skills on the job, which piqued his interest. At the same time, he felt a strong desire to enlist in the US Marine Corps. After completing his four-year service, he returned to his plumbing interests by working for several larger plumbing companies in Kansas City. His strong work ethic and determination led him to establish his own business, and with his wife Heather's support, they began operating from home in early 2003. In 2016, they had expanded to a team of six service technicians. Today, they operate from a 14,000 sq. ft. standalone facility with over 20 employees.
