Mr. Michael S. Mansell established Full Nelson Plumbing Inc. in March 2003. On December 10, 2012, Mrs. Heather Mansell joined the team as Vice President. In January 2018, she was elected CEO by the board, which also started the application to classify Full Nelson as a majority woman-owned business. Their mission has consistently been to build a service company focused on fair pricing, integrity, honesty, and complete customer satisfaction. In March 2019, the company acquired Elefson & Son's Heating & Cooling, which allowed for diversification and the addition of heating and cooling services. Mr. Dwight Elefson also joined the team and took charge of the new HVAC division at Full Nelson PHC.
Michael ""Shawn"" Mansell discovered his passion for the apartment maintenance industry right after high school. His job introduced him to plumbing, igniting his curiosity. At the same time, he felt a strong desire to enlist in the US Marine Corps. Following his four years of service, he dove back into plumbing, working for various prominent companies in Kansas City. His commitment to hard work propelled him to create his own business, and with the backing of his wife Heather, they started from home in early 2003. By 2016, they expanded to six service technicians. Today, they operate from a 14,000 sq. ft. standalone facility with over 20 employees.
