I have used Frymire twice for plumbing services, and I have always been impressed with their customer service and their promptness. The techs have always been very helpful and informative. However, on the most recent visit to my condo, the plumber recommended tearing out my bathtub, toilet and possibly my vanity to find a blockage in my pipes. We had another plumber come out for a second opinion and within 15 minutes he had decided that he would be able to fix the problem with no demolition--and even better, that the blockage was outside of my condo and my HOA would cover the repair cost. I was still stuck paying Frymire $240 for the initial exploration of my pipes, but thankfully not the $1000s more I would have been stuck paying if I'd let them demolish my bathroom.

I had the misfortune of contacting Frymire Services for a plumbing issue. First off after finally arriving hours after I expected them, a couple of guys show up. They claimed that they scoped my lines, but could not see anything because I had a blockage. Funny I thought that is what the scope was supposed to show. They were unable to open a cleanout cover, so they then told me in order to find where my sewer was blocked he needed to take a sledge hammer to my driveway that night. He did tell me he would probably cause thousands of dollars' worth of damage to diagnose the problem. They supposedly gave me a discount to diagnose my problem, and charged me $69, but they just left saying you have a blockage, duh I already knew that. I never even got an invoice or receipt.

I wonder how many people fall for these guys practices. I have a service contract with Frymire that was passed along with the house. Now they want to come out and look at my heater. There is no way I will ever let these guys in my house again. I am afraid they will want to use that sledge hammer to check my AC and Heater. Very scary!

A Frymire Services tech came to check out a hot water heater. He looked at it and said it needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of $1,300.

Another plumbing company came later the same day, with me not telling him what Frymire had to say. The second tech said "I have good news" - a valve on top of the hot water heater needed to be tightened. For a standard service fee our hot water heater is working just fine!

Because of Frymire's dishonesty, I'll never use them again.

Let me jump on the bandwagon of saying how wonderful this company is. Everyone from the appointment schedulers to the service tech were polite and courteous. I told him I needed one specific item addressed and he performed perfectly. He DID NOT try to upsell anything! He came in, did what needed to be done, and left. Thank you!

THE WORSE SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY!!!
I just paid Rick Bell of Frymire Services more than $400.00 for repairing nothing. I made an appointment for service on a PowerStar tankless electric heater and when Mr. Bell arrived he said he had never worked on this brand before, but he said I still have to pay $89.00 for him coming out. Then he said he would diagnose my problem but I would have to pay an additional $200.00. Since I would have to pay $89 for nothing, I let him do the diagnostics.
When he finished with his diagnostics, he told me the part number I needed and I had to order it and call him when I had the part. I ordered the part, but it did not look like the part he told me I needed so I had to order another part he described to me for me to tell the parts company. I ordered the new part and when it arrived, I had Mr. Bell to come back out. By the way, per Mr. Bell, his supervisor had told him not to come back out.
After Mr Bell put the new part on, he was unable to get the water to stop leaking. He had to put the old part back on and told me he could not fix my heater. Yet, I still had to pay him another $112.00 for not being able to fix my heater. WHY???

This company is a rip off!!!

I would tell the world to STAY AWAY FROM FRYMIRE SERVICES.

Charlie did ahe great job on the work. The service was too expensive, especially considered they are the company that put the system in and both of my system have needed major repair in the first 5 years. When will AC companies start backing their work more. These prices are too high.

Called this company today (Tuesday) to schedule an ac check. Per their website they offer same day service, but they said they couldn't get to me till Monday of the following week??? Oh well.. I guess I will take my business elsewhere!!!

Ac capacitor went out friday 13th. Called at 230pm and Dean was there at 5 with the problem solved by 530pm. I am so glad these guys are here. No bs honest and very genuine and friendly. Thanks for saving my fathers day wkend.

I will start off by saying this is my first experience with this company so maybe I just had bad luck. I had appointment set up for about a week to get my AC serviced. Well today came around and I left work early since they were supposed to show up between 3-5 PM. I got a call at 4 pm from a nice lady stating that I am next in line and I will get a call around 30 minutes prior to the service man will be at my home. I thanked the lady and hung up and noticed I received a call while I was talking to her. Call the number back and it was Frymire stating the the guy that should be coming got stuck on a call and he will be "way" late and I can reschedule for Saturday. (I already took off work early and don't feel like waiting around all day Saturday.) I asked the guy how long the service will take and he says well it depends what's broken. I said nothing is broken it's just a service. So i asked again about how long will it take and he said depends what's broken. I told the guy to cancel my service since I am already upset that I wasted part of a work day and they pulled this. He did try and say he would get the guy out "late" again, but what was the point since he didn't even know what they were coming out to my home for. Maybe you get better service if you aren't taking advantage of their "$89" special. Take this review how you want, and please management don't respond with some silly story.
