We had an appointment for air conditioning maintenance on Friday, June 28 for arrival between 12-2. We were also planning on using them to redo our duct work as they had for our neighbors. We received a reminder email the day before. My husband waited at home, and no one ever showed up. We have called twice now for someone to contact us and have received no response. Not sure how a company that no shows people and doesn't return calls has any good reviews.

Extraordinarily expensive. It was a relatively simple job that took about an hour to do, and they charged over $1000.

RUN....RUN...RUN AWAY as fast as you can from this company!!!!
Frymire installed a new HVAC 2 years ago, and it has been nothing but horrific drama ever since. 29 days after install, water came pouring into my bathroom walls as a result of not cleaning the condensation line when they put it in. I also found out that I didn't actually need the $12K new system they told me I did, but only needed a $600 part...too late now!
Fast forward to this year, when the draw of the HVAC blew a fuse, then the unit stopped working SIX TIMES in 7 months! They finally came and put a desperately needed second return in so the system would stop shutting down. Mind you, it took FIVE visits before anyone figured out what the problem was! They kept telling me it was fixed...over and over!!!!!
It died AGAIN, and they so-called A-Team came out and ran everything from nose to tail...or so I was told. SIX WEEKS LATER, it DIED AGAIN!!!
They said they needed to install a new thermostat before they could call GOODMAN and call the system a lemon! Today the new thermostat was installed and now the motor WON'T TURN OFF even though I turned the system off!!!
They keep telling me they aren't able to replace the unit. I have been MORE THAN PATIENT suffering through unbearable heat, sweat and freezing cold because of their incompetence!! They will be hearing from my lawyer and they will also have to pay ALL the legal fees to boot!

Poor workmanship, incorrect equipment and materials used to "fix" a problem they created has only made the situation even worse. Having to hire an actual competent A/C company to fix the issues they created.

Very disappointed with this place. I called them and told Jennifer who I first spoke with that after a storm there was water leaking from one of the bedrooms that has soaked my rug on the floor. She asked if it was the mater bedroom. I said no it wasn't. I didn't know why this was important until after they came out to look at my place. Apparently they don't provider any services on the outside. Just the inside of the house, hence which is why she asked if this was the master bedroom incase there was a leak coming from the master bathroom. I called back and spoke with Nick because I didn't understand why they even came out to look at the leak if they can only provide services inside the house. I'm not a professional or anything but nothing about what I said, the rug getting soaked after a big storm sound like it was an issue with a pipe. And none of the other rooms had this issue except for the two bedrooms on the opposite side of the house which doesn't have any bathrooms. I'm not sure why they came out and then couldn't even give me a quote to fix it yet still charge me the fee for coming out. I called and spoke with Nick afterwards about how upset I am at this situation. Getting charge but not even given a quote to fix it. Nick assured me that he will have his manager look at the problem and possibly refund me back. He or his manager will give me a call back. That was weeks ago. No one called me back or gave me a refund.

Wanted to have them come out to do system check to be sure all okay for rest of this summer due to high temperatures. Have 2 story townhouse with AC unit on roof. They wanted to charge me $279 ladder fee to go up on my roof as well as their trip fee. They never charged a ladder fee in the past and obviously they were trying to gauge me. They installed my unit & my 2 year free labor & 2 year free maintenance expired. They will never be used by me again for anything. Used Lex Air instead and they were awesome and very reasonable. No bullshit like Frymire has seemed to adopted.

In 2011 Frymire sold and installed at our home a Trane cooling and heating air system. At the same time we signed an annual maintenance agreement that includes twice-a-year inspections by Frymire. During the last few years, we witness repeated increased efforts by Frymire's technicians to talk us into purchasing additional services or upgrades to the system. These became the norm, there was no service call when we were not recommended to do this or that upgrade to the system. On one of these occasions, Frymire recommended we install a surge protector between the main power supply of the house and the unit to improve the protection of the unit and we agreed and spent the additional money for it.
In late April 2023, our system stopped working and the breaker protecting the system kept jumping. We called Frymire for an inspection. Their technician checked and informed us that the unit compressor has died and it needs replacement. He provided a quote of $6,622 that included the cost of a new compressor, the freon replacement, and the disposal of the old freon.
Shocked by such bad news and because the unit has only 11 years while it is rated for 15 to 20 years of life we decided to get a second opinion. The next day we called a different company (Service One Air). Their technician checked the system and found out that the surge protector and its switch has been burned and that was the reason the breaker was jumping. He replaced the switch and the system is now working perfectly. The whole repair was less than $200.
Obviously, we were disappointed with Frymire and their technician's efforts to sell us a $6,600 unnecessary repair.
There are no two way to explain what happened here: either Frymire is using technicians that are clueless or Frymire are trying to cheat their clients by selling them unnecessary repairs

Before you take someone's money to install an outdoor tankless water heater you need to tell them that it won't work in winter when it freezes and there is nothing Frymire can do. If Frymire had been honest about that up front I wouldn't have bought 2 outdoor mounted tankless water heaters for nearly $12,000. Telling me after the fact and throwing your hands up in the air once you have my money isn't a great great way of doing busines.

I left a message on the phone number that was on my receipt as well as sent them an email to a general email account. That's on their website to ask them to call me back about service that they provided at my residence. A month later I still haven't heard anything.

I spent close to $11k for 2 tankless water heaters that had to be installed on my outside wall of my home. Everything seemed fine until our first freeze and both units froze up even though I kept water running in the house to keep pipes from freezing. The exhaust pipe froze up causing the unit to shut down. When I called I was given the run around until some sweet lady called and said if they freeze its your problem. Wow, gave me a warm fuzzy about this company. DO NOT BUY A TANKLESS WATER HEATER FROM THIS COMPANY!
