Truth be told, I wish I found them sooner.

I moved to SLC with no idea of who to use, so I shopped around and was very expensively let down by ""Expert Plumbing, Heating, and Air"", then by ""My Buddy the Plumber"". Expert Plumbing as it happens was full of non-licensed apprentices who had missed EVERYTHING during two separate home inspections. My Buddy turned out to not be my buddy, but rather be interested in my money and had cut corners to put gas vents that now blow into my front door. $10,000 later (due to the failed inspection) and My Buddy the plumber didn't complete the work necessary for me to have peace of mind and not think about my plumbing.

I've been using Stuart and his team, from Frontier for about 1.5 years now and couldn't be happier. I found them from my Home Warranty. I'm not necessarily fond of someone looking at my plumbing and saying ""That's interesting..."" from the former jobs, but I am glad that a licensed plumber can see that something is wrong and provides the expertise that I needed when this all started. I'm a customer for life.

Came to look at our hot water heater which was not staying on. ""Fixed"" the part by using a piece of electrical tape which was good for that evening and to have hot water but hardly a fix. I was called two days later about paying the call out fee which was payed the same night. I took the opportunity to express my disappointment with the repair as it doesn't treat the problem, just the symptom. Stuart proceeded to patronize me and suggest that the problem was fixed, that we were just paying the callout fee and didn't pay for any kind of work (given this is a home warranty issue). I'm a pretty chill guy and don't get angry very easily, but I was absolutely livid by the response of this guy. I will never recommend this company to anyone just purely based on the customer experience I had.

We had our house's water main break, and Frontier came out right away to turn off our water so the basement wouldn't flood any more. (On Mother's Day too!) They even gave us info for a great disaster cleanup company to help us with our basement. As for the water main fix, they showed up earlier than expected, and did a very thorough job of doing what even the house's contractor neglected to do by adding pea gravel, and tarring around the pipes to prevent future problems. They were extremely honest, and saved us a great deal of money. I was very impressed with them.

The guy Stuart installed a new Moen faucet few months ago, now it's leaking, looks like something didn't seal probably. I called him. He said he would call me in an hour, but of course, he didn't call me back. I texted him several times. He just ignored me. Bad job, not responsible. Don't use them.

No one should use these guys. I was treated so poorly. Subpar work, dragging out deadlines for 8 MONTHS, stolen property, rude owner, and just an overall nightmare.
I was told by the contractor that the females at his company have all said that the owner is a misogynist. I do not throw this term around lightly and that was exactly my experience.

Either dishonest or uneducated.

We had hot water coming out of our sinks but not our showers/tubs.

Frontier Plumbing came and after assessing the issue, informed us we needed to have our hot water heater replaced. Roughly $1,200 in costs.

After getting a second opinion, it turns out the tub handles had been installed improperly and that was the source of the issue.

We could have been out of pocket a considerable amount of money for nothing.

Always get a second opinion.

When they show up, they deliver decent work and good prices. That being said, we had them arrive on time one out of the three times they came, and once they came without the equipment to do half of the job. They assured us that they would contact us promptly within a week to reschedule that part of the service. Two weeks later we called them, scheduled it, and they simply didn't show up at all.
