I had no hot water (cold showers are no fun) so I looked up plumbers on Yelp and was going to go with one who was highly recommended but decided to give a shot to the label on the heater...I was a bit hesitant cause i figured no hot water.. new heater....equals $1000 etc..but i called him on a Friday afternoon and was going to make a Monday appointment.. but he said he had some one in the area and could come over within the hour.. plumbers charge extra for night time calls and weekends.. as promised 1 hour later a plumber came by and looked at the unit.. said the pilot went out .. lit it and an hour later hot hot water.. the charge was $75 which I was glad to pay .. the plumber while not the boss was nice (had his son with him to translate ..lol) .. so $75 for a house call within an hour and no extra charges or high pressure sales pitch is good to me.. inexperienced with household and automotive items I am hostage to what anyone wants to charge because I don't know.. so its really good to know you can count on someone to just fix it and not fleece you .. with all that said . i highly recommend Frimer Plumbing..

They will get the work done w/ a decent quality (average) but they are expensive and will charge you extra for any small deviation from the original plan.
