Marco was amazing. I called him at 5pm on Saturday because we just had a new refrigerator delivered and as they removed the old one the water line (original to the house) started spraying water all over when taken off the old fridge. We had the entire house water shut off to deal with it. Marco asked for a photo of the valve, said he could do it and quoted me $250. He said he would be at the house in 30 minutes and he was. However, the original installers had used some crazy methods so what he thought would be a quick in and out fix took him over an hour, and he needed power tools to literally cut it out of the wall. He didn't increase the price despite the added difficulty. We couldn't be more grateful for his fast response, how prepared he was, and how dedicated he was to getting the job done.

We live in a condominium complex with 3 units having plumbing pipes that may go behind another units wall (in this case a garage wall). Our 1st experience with Marco from Friendly Plumber & Sons (of Vallejo, CA) was due to a broken water pipe from our unit that went behind a neighbors garage wall. Marco was really great at coordinating between our neighbor and us to get it repaired at a very fair price. His work is excellent. He pre-assembles any parts he can so that the water will be off for the least possible amount of time.
He cleans up thoroughly afterwards too. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced and does excellent work.
Our second experience with Marco was due to our master bathroom needing to have the fixtures replaced as the faucet and the knob to turn water off and on had broken internally. These fixtures were the original from the 1980s. It required going through the wall of our closet to reach the pipes and fixtures. It needed a new section of pipe to be grafted in and he was able to do it with a new type of equipment rather than welding which we thought was great. We removed everything from the closet so they'd have plenty of room and covered our bed and some furniture as we knew cutting through sheetrock would create fine dust. As it turned out I could have saved myself the trouble because they brought thin plastic sheeting and covered our bed and all the furniture that would get fine dust on it!!! That was really appreciated. Also they put down a tarp covering the rug to protect it. They also wear the disposable shoe coverings which they put on right when coming in and if had to go out to truck, they removed and put back on when they came back inside. The work was done very quickly and the water was off much less time than expected. Maybe 45 mins or so and that was for a fairly complicated job. The fixures are really nice and the installation is clean with no caulking or sealer left around any of them. They cleaned up thoroughly and vacuumed as well. We really appreciate Marco and his sons ""Friendly Plumber & Sons"" plumbing in Vallejo. Hard to find reasonable, reliable, friendly, efficient and professional plumbers all rolled into one. I first called Marco a few months ago when all our drains (and toilets) backed up. He came the next day, did a video inspection, and found our lateral was clogged. The inspection process showed that we would benefit from a new clean-out, which Marco explained clearly. He brought in a co-worker and they installed the cleanout and unplugged the lateral the same day. I appreciated that he didn't inflate his price (which was reasonable) by bringing in a bigger crew. He did most of the work himself. I also appreciated that the job was wrapped up quickly. More recently we hired Friendly Plumbing to replace a kitchen faucet and p-trap. The job was complicated by some previous sloppy plumbing work. Again Marco took the time to explain the problem, got the parts and fixed everything without changing extra for the extra work and parts. He left the work area as neat as it was before he arrived. I will hire Marco again and recommend him highly. His rates are good, he is very friendly (like his business name), and clearly takes pride in doing things right.

I had a major plumbing issue, as far as I was concerned, my washer machine was leaking water in my garage. Soon after discovering the water in my garage, I noticed my kitchen sink was baking up. I didn't know who to call, I first called my husband but he was working and wasn't expected home for hours, (this was a Fri.) he wasn't able to get to it till Sun. I needed help ASAP. Luckily I found Friendly Plumbing and Sons and Marco sent his assistant Sean, soon both Sean & Marco were on the job within an hour and fixed the problem quickly. Fast and friendly service!
