I had an appt with this company , even got my text reminder the day before , but when I called to verify time the day of the girl that answered phone said I wasn't on schedule , I asked them why did I get text alert and she explained that system (alerts ) is not linked to actual dispatch , girl not very empathetic on phone nor did she act as if she wanted to resolve the issue so I called black
Diamond and they got me right in !!

I had some one come out to give me bids to run water to an unfinished basement and kitchenette. The guy who came was friendly, but spent a lot of time going talking about a lot of stuff i know I didn't need. Their estimate came out THOUSANDS more than others I have gotten. Also he didn't even include the price for the kitchenette in the bid. He also told me he had to include some warranty package for my furnace and water heater. These guys are trying to up sale the hell out of you. Don't waste your time.

We had a pretty catastrophic failure of our sewer line at our house. The crew at friendly home services were outstanding! My options were explained and communication was great. The project was expensive, but I did some research and the pricing was fair and appropriate for as big of a project as this. They were able to get the extensive project started immediately and our downtime was nominal given the extensive work needed. More importantly, all of the workers were professional and polite and bent over backwards to help us. When they were finished they cleaned up very well and even tried to improve our landscaping a little bit which in my opinion is above and beyond. I will definitely be recommending Friendly Home Services to family and friends!

I live in Pittsburgh, and my college-aged son lives in Salt Lake City. I asked them to call me with price before snaking my son's washing machine drain. (They said they could not quote me a price beforehand because they were unsure of drain's accessibility. btw, drain is quite easily accessible.) . They DID NOT call and charged $250 for 20 minutes max to snake the drain. Of course they didn't call; they knew I would NOT pay that exorbitant rate! They took advantage of my son, and should be ashamed. UNPROFESSIONAL. THIEVES. DESERVING of ZERO STARS!

Looking for an AC repair as mine has gone out in 95 degree weather with a 10 month old baby at home; another company who didn't have any openings actually referred me to these guys. It says they are 24/7 so I thought ""awesome!"". When I call, I get some answering service that took my info & said they'll page the on call person & they'll call me very soon.
It's now been over 4 hours, my brother already went to the store & grabbed a window unit & helped me put it in for now so my son doesn't overheat & I still haven't even gotten a call or email or anything.
Not getting my business if that's how you treat potential customers. Hate to think how you'd treat me once you already had my money. Nope

I had Friendly Plumber Heating and Air come to my house and was very pleased with the service until I just got a call and find out that then they first came out that they signed me up, WITHOUT my knowledge to a 1 year service plan for $240! YIKES!!!! This plan gives me a 10% discount and a lot of fluff that I do not want and do not need! I originally gave them a very good review, but now think that they are Friendly because they want you to feel they are the best people. They are just trying to get you to blindly sign things without telling you and giving you the whole story of what they are doing and what they are charging you for! WATCH OUT for Friendly Plumber! They are not telling you the entire truth and want to deceive you into paying for than you should for their service!!! BUYER BEWARE! THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE!

I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I feel like I've just been ""had"". We recently had Friendly Plumber back out because we noticed our A/C was not actually cooling the air. Whoever the company sent out this time was either just focused on selling us a new A/C unit or wanted to cheat us out of the most money he could.

We were told there was a leak, our coolant was empty and the system was not holding pressure. Then we were told that there was not a way they could locate said leak without replacing essentially every internal part of the unit, including the coils. They quoted us almost $3,000 including an $800 fee to empty and dispose of the missing coolant. Nothing felt right about this visit, they were very clearly trying to take advantage of us. When we told him we were going to seek a second opinion he offers to have his manager come look at it... no thanks.

The next day we had Advantage Heating & Air come out and in less than 5 minutes he had located a loose compression fitting. He was able to fix and check our system for any further leaks for less than $300. This included replacing all of the missing coolant.

Beware of Friendly Plumber, they do not operate with honesty and integrity.

Always great service. Taylor came to inspect my HVAC and humidifier system. Not only did he do a great job, he took the time to explain how to maintain and prolong the life of my system. Awesome job today!

I called Friendly plumber in a panic as I thought I had a frozen busted pipe. The charming and courteous repair men talked me into a unneeded repair ( replacing a pressure valve) and selling me a useless service plan. I was exhorbitantly overcharge. I wished I had done my due diligence and researched this company before calling them. They can't even explain their own service plan. I'm in a position (insurance) to recommend a plumbing company but I would never this company ever again. I'd beware of Friendly plumbing and heating!

I have been dealing with these guys for over a year now. I can see from other peoples comments that I am not the only person they have grossly overcharged. they also didn't finish the job. I have been trying to contact them and they repeatedly ignore me. they claim a 100% guarantee (look at the side of there fancy trucks) but they don't back it up. very unhappy with them and will never recommend them to anybody I like.
