Wow, loved these guys previously, but got caught up in a bait and switch. Was quoted $99 for a mainline clean out on a Saturday. They are usually $44 with a coupon. The service guy came out, said it would cost at least $99 plus $365, plus probably more if they ran into other issues. I'm in the home repair business and know a scam when I see one. As I objected to the outrageous predatory pricing and tactics, the guy had the nerve to point to a pricing sheet and tried to collect the $99 for doing nothing. What a joke!

We had Dave come out to check to see why our furnace was not working g properly. He discovered some problems and fixed them on the spot. They took my call on a Sunday and offered to fix it that day. I was fine waiting until today Monday to have it fixed. They set up a time of 11am and called around 10:30am to say Dave was o. The way. Dave called to let me know he was in route to my place at 10:45am. Dave had the furnace repaired quickly. I was very pleased with the service call.

My usual plumber couldn't make it, so I called friendly plumber. A neighbor had used them and seemed satisfied. They showed up when they said, which was after hours ($99 after hours charge, a little high, but no big deal). They snaked a toilet line and spent about an hour doing it, then I got the bill $464 total. Needless to say I was shocked, my lawyer doesn't charge that much.

I called to ask why, no one seemed to care. I got what I needed done done, but paid way too much, won't be using or referring them.

Jarom was great, found out the issue with my furnace fast, had the part ready in his truck and had me back up and running within an hour. He gave me recommendations to get the most out of our older model furnace and keep it running strong. Definitely didn't feel like he was giving me the run around or trying to stick it to me with sales or anything like that. This was my first time working with Friendly and I will definitely be calling them for all my needs going forward.

This is in response from the sub contractor who went above friendly plumbers criteria and finalized the job that was started in Aug one bump after another now were in Nov and my family is happy and that makes me happy. Kuddos to kranz electric who steppe up and did the right thing thanks team

I needed a new water heater and also wanted to change the company I had been using for HVAC repairs/replacement. Employees were very professional and courteous. They explained in detail the work they were going to do and did so for a fair and reasonable cost.

Frank and Gage came over to give my furnaces a tune-up. They were very thorough, respectful and friendly. They invited me to stay and watch them work if I wanted so they could explain what they were doing. They did a great job of explaining things in a way that I could understand and I'm really happy with their work. They found a couple of items that will need to be replaced but they did not pressure me into committing to it right now. They laid out the costs/options for me to review with my wife, and then they were on their way. Great people, and I will use them again.

Jarom, came about 11am was really courteous, clean cut, we'll mannered.
Started cleaning the heater , noticed two of the three jet orifices were working.
Took apart the third nossile, there was a spider Web inside blocking the gas flow, it was cleaned.
Everything works great , a job well done.
will I be using this company again ....

We have had Friendly Plumber work on our kitchen sink, air conditioners, and furnace. They have always been responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable about what was going on. We have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to use them for all our plumbing and HVAC needs.

UPDATE: Bryson called the following day and apologized for his mistake. The owners also stopped by and personally apologize for the inconvenience that this incident caused and delivered a gift card as an apology. We do appreciate the way Friendly Plumber mended the situation. It was frustrating that if we hadn't consulted a second opinion, we would have had to spend 5 to 6 grand on a new AC unit, when in reality it took less than a grand to fix. So I would recommend always consulting a second opinion because human error does occur occasionally. But as far as business ethics go, I can attest that this company is friendly and will try and make up for any mistakes that may occur, and in this aspect we can recommend this company.

Oh my gosh people PLEASE do not go with this business! They are dishonest and will take advantage of you anyway they can! Our house was 85 degrees even with the AC on all day and it would come on for an hour and then stop blowing air. We scheduled a diagnostic with Friendly Plumber heating and Air because their diagnostic fees were $39 and lower than surrounding HVAC companies. Bryson came and told us that our compressor is fried and completely broken and to get a new compressor alone would cost us $4000. Bryson told us we should just install a new AC for $5400 which would be a better deal, or replace the furnace and AC all together for the best deal of $8000 plus a $350 rebate if we signed by that night. We wanted to get a second opinion, so we decided to wait on the AC replacement. Bryson told us that we would not find a better deal elsewhere.

We ended up contacting First Choice Heating & Air and we are so happy that we did! Turns out the compressor was not broken at all and First Choice Heating & Air diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged us appropriately and was very thorough. Now our AC is working once again!

What a waste of money to have Friendly Plumber Heating & Air come out! The only good thing that came out of this is that we now have first hand experience about how dishonest this company is and hopefully through our review will help educate people out there and steer them far away from this company.

People, please always get a second opinion, and in this case we are so glad we did. If we didn't we would have spent 5 grand getting a new AC unit when in fact it was a simple fix that only cost us a fraction of the cost of a new AC. If you look at all the existing positive reviews, you'll notice that most of them are happy with the service because the company was able to REPLACE it for them, not FIX! I wonder how much more money all these previous customers would have saved if they simply got a second opinion. We are very disappointed and disgusted at this company for trying to scam their customers. BEWARE!!!
