In January 1958, Paul Friedman obtained his Master Plumber's license, notified his employer and launched a new plumbing venture. Paul began with an operation in the home's basement and his wife as his sole assistant. Her role involved taking phone calls and communicating messages to him. During five years, Paul expanded the service business by providing excellent service at a fair price.

In 1963, he partnered with Simpson, a skilled engineer with knowledge in treatment of water and waste, to create Paul Friedman Inc.. The goal was to broaden their services. They decided to operate a full-service plumbing company that would handle both service jobs and residential accounts.

Evidently, they hit upon the right formula, because with over 45 years in business, they have established themselves as one of the leading plumbing services in the county. Alongside operating several service trucks stocked for almost any plumbing issue, they also operate a remodeling department.
