On a late Sunday night my furnace stopped working on a bathhouse at my business. I called Frey heating and plumbing first thing Monday morning. They sent someone out within two hours and had everything fixed less than an hour later. This is the second time I've used them with the same great service! Quick, easy and reliable. It's hard to find a company that has that quality and value nowadays. Definitely recommend.

Two years ago I would have given them a 4 star rating as we have used them regularly for plumbing and heating for a number of years and even recommended them to other neighbors. However, most recently we had an emergency call off hours as our furnace would not go on. They refused to come stating to us that we were not a customer of theirs. After numerous calls, they still claimed we were not a customer, even when we sent the owner of the company documentation that we were (including a recent sticker on our furnace). Then they stopped communicating with us all together. Luckily we were able to address our problem later that night (as it was below freezing). At this point I would not recommend this service to anyone -- STAY AWAY!!!

Outragious prices!! I called them for service to my furnace, an oil furnace, the gentlemen came to my home, cleaned my furnace, changed 2 parts a filter and a jet nozzle which is standard to replace these specific parts every year. The parts total no more than $25.00 . the Tec was here for LESS than 2 hours, they charged me $625.00!! That's Outragious!. Who out there charges $300.00 per hour? I can't think of any trade that makes $300.00 an hour per mechanic. Don't ever use this company, you've been warned!

Beware....they charged us $650.00 an hour for a simple plumbing job that took a 45 minute service call. ( very little parts) When confronted he said he has to pay for his trucks and insurance. Don't let them steal from you!

I can not recommend Frey heating and plumbing. I needed a toilet bolt replaced and at the same time replace the sealing ring. This took about an hour and one half. I was charged $400.00. After I complained the high price I got a rash of....you know what from the owner for the nerve of me to complain. He explain he had over head and had to charge these prices or go out of business.Then I was offered $25.00 rebate. That rebate was never received. I emailed him to say I never received the rebate. I have not received a reply. He is not a man of his word and the company apparently has higher over head as explained so they charge more than others. However, they did come very promptly. So I guess they hang around waiting for suckers like me...Make sure your account is flush with cash. Book at your own risk!

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I had a terrible experience with them and feel as if I got ripped off. No one that I have spoken to in Sussex County has a good word to say about them.

Have been a customer for 9 years. Had a guy come out to look at my leaking furnace. He was here for literally 2 minutes, said he couldn't do anything except replace it for $8K and charged me $135 to tell me that and left. Thank God I got a 2nd opinion, who could not only fix it instead of replace it, but quoted me $1500 LESS than Frey if I did choose to replace it. He also took the time to explain what the problem was and tell me what to do in the meantime should it go and start to flood for the safety of my family. So, Frey either cheats their customers to get the big sale, is lazy and doesn't want to do the hard jobs, or is simply not skilled enough to fix things others can.

This place is a total ripoff! They charged $150 to simply walk through the door. Then, after determining that a simple faucet cartridge needed to be replaced, which he easily picked up at Loew's, charged another $225 !

DO NOT USE THEM. Extremely poor customer service.
