These guys came out when we had a PVC pipe burst that connected our sprinkler system to our water line. Water had been flooding our front yard when we noticed the pipe burst until we got the water shut off. They came out quickly and fixed that for a reasonable price. They mentioned that our water pressure was too high and that was the likely cause of the burst PVC pipe and the high pressure was also putting us at risk of having pipes in the house burst, so they recommended a water pressure regulator. We couldn't afford it that day, but said we'd call them back to come do it. Because it didn't require them to come into the house at all, they came and did it while we were gone from the house for the day. The work was done great and for a reasonable price also.

They came back to pick up the check to pay for that work and we asked them to take a look at our shower. A contractor had remodeled our bathrooms (we just bought the house and did a full renovation), just he improperly installed the shower faucet so the the hot and cold were reversed. We called that contractor back to fix it and he opened up the faucet and claimed that there wasn't a way to fix it. He said that it was just the way that faucet came and that we'd have to buy a new faucet. We didn't really believe that though, because the manufacture told us it was fixable. So we asked Plumbing Connection if they could fix it and the took a look at it and were able to fix it in about 15 minutes. We asked them how much we owed them for that work and they wouldn't even charge us for it. That was something that would've annoyed me forever if it wasn't fixed and so for them to fix it for free made our day.

They also glanced at our water heater for us because our shower takes a while to get hot water. They said it should be good for another year but we'll probably want to replace it sometime soon and gave us a coupon for a discount on getting a new water heater installed. We'll definitely call these guys back for any future work.

Punctual, fast, efficient, CLEAN!!!Price was reasonable. I'm not sure what else I can say it's hard to believe I was working with a plumbing situation. I would highly recommend using them!

Used this company in July for a line to the street that backs up every 6 - 8 months. It backed up again this morning and I called Plumbing Connection to come out. I mentioned on the phone that they had been out here in July and that it never backs up this quickly after. I was concerned that they may not have rooted the line enough in July. I asked the rate, and Kahn said $125.00. I then asked that since they were just here, can we work on a lower rate? He advised that we would talk about it when he got here after seeing what needed to be done. He said he would be here between 11am-12noon. At 12:10p I called to see where anyone was, and Khan said it would be another 20 minutes. He did not show up until after 1pm. By this time I am late for my afternoon commitments and had to cancel them. Once here, he and his worker took all of 3 minutes to do the job. He handed me the bill without us talking about the priceas he said we would on the phone. I mentioned this, but he said unless I was paying cash, he couldn't go lower.
He said something to the effect of ""if you can go inside and scrape together $100.00, I will just take that."" ?? Who can do that?!! I felt very insulted. I wrote the check for $125.00 and told him I will never call on them again. I have used them 3 - 4 times and if this is how repeat customers are treated, then I will certainly not be a repeat customer again! I would love a job where I am paid $42.00 a minute and can be over an hour plus late!


UPDATE:12/7/11
After writing the above review, I recieved a call from ""Khan"" in th office. Apparently, there are two Khans, and is a family name. Anyway, after leaving a message on my cell WHICH I STILL HAVE stating that he was really sorry and that he would be sending my check back to me in the mail, I called him a couple days later and after apologizing again, he said he would only be sending me a check for a *portion* of the $125.00. I told him that his message stated he would be sending my written check back, and he quickly back peddled and said that it is not correct and he would be only sending a portion. He wanted me to modify my YELP review once the check was recieved. This was a Thursday or Friday in October, and he said that I should see the check in the mail by the next Monday or Tuesday. It is now two months or so later, and I have not seen anything come in from them.

Lastly, I have had to call out another plumming company not a month later from when Plumming Connection came out. Not only were they friendly, but charged a very very reasonable rate, much less than $125.00. They even scoped out line with a camera to see what's going on there and gave us 2 - 3 options of what can be done. They will be getting my future business.

The toilet was leaking. I called my regular plumber but he was unavailable. Called Plumbing Connection. The gentleman was very friendly. Khan was sent to our house. He arrived on time. He was very friendly, gave me a great quote, and completed the service in no time at all. I am ending my relationship with my former plumber and I am going with Plumbing Connection. I highly recommend Plumbing Connection!!! BK is the owner and operator of this plumbing company. Great, friendly, professional plumber!

Baktiar came very quickly when our sewer seemed totally backed up and clogged and fixed it the very next day. Extremely kind and professional people, I will definitely call them again! I felt that he really cared about not only getting the work done but also making sure that the repair would last. They had to change a lot of our pipe, as it was still the original from the 50s and broken + full of soil and roots. After the work was done, our lawn looked very clean and they even watered it to make sure it would grow back perfectly. I did appreciate that very much.

I've been stuck with a stopped up kitchen sink for about a week. Yesterday evening I finally made a call to Plumbing Connection. I should have called sooner. Even though the business is based out of Fremont, they made an appointment to come to my apartment in Oakland and fix my drains at 10AM this morning. Khan (plumber) arrived on schedule, in a marked van, and well-dressed. He got straight to work while I went back to work in my home office. I felt just fine leaving him to do his own thing. Within about 15 minutes I could hear the water running through the sink pipes!

When I asked him if I could be any more gentle on the pipes (because they get clogged every couple of years), Khan assured me that old pipes just get stopped up sometimes. Since my apartment is in a 1912 craftsman home, he explained to me how all the old plumbing works....twists and turns, narrow copper pipes, etc. He also gave me some pointers on how to avoid future problems.

When my landlord came up to see the work Khan had done, Khan let him know that these kind of plumbing problems typically occur much more frequently and that my spouse and I appeared to take good care of the sink - which we do! He assured my landlord that we weren't causing the clogs. If you are a renter, you can only imagine how that would help your landlord-tenant relationship.

This is a very professional service. Khan treated me with respect and courtesy. I appreciate a professional who treats a female customer no differently than a male customer. He was in and out in about 30 minutes, he chatted with my landlord AND my sink works perfectly.

We where having trouble with your sink. For some reason everytime we would wash the dishes everything would back up to the laundry sink in the garage. So when we needed to do laundry we would have to pause the machine because if we didn't it would overflow. The standing water tooked forever to drain all the way down we tried all those drain chemicals to unclog them, nothing seems to worked.

So we knew it was time to call a plumber. We found this company and they gave us the best price quote. So we decided on them. They said that they would come by around 4:30pm, at first we were okay with it, but realize that we had to change the time. So we called them again and they were happy to come by a little earlier so they said they will be by at 3:00 pm. I actually thought they would be late like other services are. But they actually came earlier than expected which was great.

So they started working and the guy told us he needed to change the pipes in our sinks because they are old which is causing the back up. The guy even literally went up to our house roof to snake the pipes in order to unclog them. Plumbing Construction did a super job. The work they did on the house cost more because they had to change the pipe under the dish washing and laundry sink. But they made us just pay the amount they quoted over the phone. So we were a happy camper.

If ever you need a plumbing situation done call Plumbing Construction they are the best.
