Freddy and his crew are the best. We had, quite frankly, a HUGE plumbing job: basically all the drain pipes in our house had failed, and we needed to replace all of them. The problem is that we live in an Eichler home, which is slab-on-grade, so all the pipes are under the concrete slab. The worst problem was a huge break in the main sewer line, which was totally fractured and had been invaded by roots, a situation made much worse by the current drought. Freddy came out and did a camera inspection of the whole system, and then sat down with us and discussed all the options. We decided on a course of action, set a date, and Freddy wrote up a contract and sent it to us via email promptly. The plan necessitated jackhammering the floor in one room and in the garage, and a fair amount of digging in the yard, but the majority of the work was done with trenchless pipe-bursting and pneumatic boring, and I was quite impressed with the technology and the way the job was done. The crew is a great group of guys, hard working, careful, diligent, and Freddy always communicated what the next steps were going to be. Freddy took care of all the permits and there were no problems with the inspection. They installed proper new clean-outs on all the lines and even installed a couple of new shut-off valves on my garage utility sink with no extra labor charge. It is a huge relief to know that we will never have to worry about the drains in this house again, and they have been a constant problem ever since we bought the house 8 years ago. There was no way around a fair amount of disruption in the house since this was a major job, but they got it done and returned the yard and landscaping to its previous state. They come with our highest recommendation! Great job!

I had a later sewer line that had failed 3 times in a 6 week period. I knew I was likely to be in for an expensive repair/replacement of the line. No access to a toilet in your home is a life-altering situation that leads to desperation. I think it's easy to be taken advantage of as a consumer in this situation...especially when you can't visualize the failure since it's underground. All you can hope for is that you hire an honest plumber that does quality work.
If you share my sentiments, then hire Freddy at Freedom Underground Plumbing. He got my sewer line replaced quickly at a reasonable price. In fact, I know for a fact he could have charged me for some things that I didn't need...but he was upfront and honest and saved me precious dollars.
He did a trenchless replacement. All the work was done in a matter of days including permitting and inspections. Never were we without the ability to flush when we needed to.

After 70 years, the main water line to our house started leaking badly--200 galleons a day by my measurement. I wanted to replace it by underground boring from the curb to underneath the house (boring under the foundation). This seemed like a simple request to me, but in fact the first 4 contractors, all claiming to do trench less work, said they could not do it, and offered expensive alternatives that in a couple of cases would have destroyed virtually unreplacable landscaping or involved jackhammering up concrete.

Freddy from Freedom Underground Plumbing said he could do it my way, and for a price less than any of the others. Sure enough, his crew did exactly what I wanted with only very minor damage to the landscaping. A tremendous relief to me after several months of fretting and getting scolded by EBMUD! The work was performed under a permit and passed first time. The yard was left clean and dirt-free. Freddy and the crew were easy to work with. Highly recommended

I really appreciated Freddy's great customer service beginning with a quick return phone call on a Sunday morning after my main water line had sprung a big leak. He came that afternoon to evaluate, and scheduled the work for the next morning. He was on time both on Sunday and on Monday, was very friendly and informative about what he was doing, and about what my choices were in replacing the water line. The trenchless system was awesome, I was so glad that he did not have to cut through my concrete walkway to replace the water line all the way from the street to the house. He and his assistant finished the whole replacement in less than 4 hours, and left the area clean and neat, and looking as good as new (and he even cheerfully fixed an irrigation pipe that we had broken in trying to evaluate the leak ourselves, which was so nice!) I heartily recommend Freddy and Freedom Underground Plumbing!

A very big thank you to Freddy and his amazing crew. Professional, honest, fair pricing, reliable and a really nice guy. Our 45 year old water line to our home broke on Saturday morning. After searching for vendors who could replace the line ""trenchless"", I found Freedom. I called and Freddy answered the phone, talked us through the process, gave us a quote and was at our home Sunday morning and got the job rolling. He made sure we had a temporary line to water until he could return on Monday. Despite some unforeseen obstacles with our rocky soil and the heavy rain today, they finished the job, cleaned everything up and I could not be happier. We have a new line that will never corrode! Freedom Underground Plumbing did a super job replacing my sewer line. Before his initial quote, Freddy came out to run a camera down the line to show me why the line was continually backing up (major tree roots!) -- and explained the entire process, detailed why my line needed to be replaced and brought up to code. His team did a great job with the replacement -- neat and tidy, no mess left behind. Definitely a 5 star recommendation that I'll be sharing with my family and friends.
