Called for service job in Ft Piere Fl 89.00 Tech called said could'nt service system clogged did nothing, called to come back to unclogged a/c tech called me and told me fee would be 206.00 got bill charged 89.00 plus 206.00. Called company repeated told messages where given to service manager after many calls JOHN called and said there was nothing HE COULD Do. Tp REMOVE the FIRST charge. He said FT PIerce was 1 hour AWAY which is a lie it's only 24 MINUTES away, then he changed it to the TECH CAME from Sebastion which is 45 MINUTES AWAY. Was looking for some Company to trust from afar BUT its not this since one Tech DID NOTHING, but what goes around comes around.

2 weeks after purchasing a brand new system, and having it installed...it didn't work. Took a couple days for them to come out and fix. Then a couple weeks later, it stopped working again. Had to wait a week for them to replace a completely new coil...A NEW COIL ON A NEW SYSTEM. They tried telling me it was a manufacturing defect. However, after speaking to several a/c guys AND the manufacturer itself...it was installed improperly and manufacturing guidelines were not followed. We were also told that the it would feel much cooler then what the temperature was set to. While that should be true, we have to set our temperature 4 degrees cooler just to be comfortable. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE...they are nice and speak the jargon, BUT THEIR RESULTS ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU PAY. I am not another company, just a teacher who doesn't have the money to spare...don't try to save a couple hundred dollars by using these hacks.

I had a mini split AC unit stop functioning. I called around to locate a company that would service Daiken and found Freedom Air and Heat. The technicions came out and after several minutes informed me that there was no freon in th eunit and it was pointless to put more in as they didn't know where the leak was and it would just leak again. They also suggested that the unit was likely damaged by lightning and unrepairable. A salesman was sent to me that evening who showed me a quote on his tablet that was not itemized for $9100 (after further questioning we were told that the unit was about 5k, but he could get rebates or dicounts if we needed them). We sent him away. A friend recommened Arrigo Air and Heat. Len came to the house, took time to investigate and troubleshoot the unit. He found that the freon was not empty at all! He also reset the unit, educated us on the warranty, which was not needed because he fixed the problem, and let us know that this manufacturer has a warranty program. Len's bill was less that $200. This man's honesty and integrity are rare in todays world and I pray that he is richly rewarded for them. Thanks Len

Our Goodman AC went out, we called FREEDOM AIR AND PLUMBING and they came the next day. The serviceman appeared helpful and very friendly. Judging just on the repairman you would think the rating would be much higher, but social skills are a much different topic. Took most of the day to """"get parts & complete the repair. By the time the repair was complete the charges went from $800 to $900. The issue was the breaker on the air handler. It was repaired but looking through clear silicone cover doesn't look like there is a breaker where the old breaker resided. The current issue with this company is trying to get them to fill out the FPL form to try to recover some money on the Goodman Warranty (OH Yah the unit is still under warranty!!. Oh, the answering service does what answering services do. There is never a response from the company or a direct contact with them. REPEAT : We are trying to get FREEDOM AIR AND PLUMBING to fill out the FPL form (sent to them) documenting their work/visit, to send to FPL. It is suspect that the work performed is less than acceptable and therefore they are refusing to document the work performed... $927 total, quoted 700 when he arrived and that floored me.
