I had a faucet installed and the installer said to call the office to get the pricing of the faucet.
When I called the office all they would tell me was that it was a fixed price with a faucet and a different fixed price if I provided the faucet but they would not tell me the $ dollar difference so I COULD NOT DETERMINE WHAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE FAUCET.
THE PLUMBER SAID CALL THE OFFICE.
THE OFFICE SAID TO TALK TO THE PLUMBER BUT HE IS ALWAYS ON A SERVICE CALL AND NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS.

Poor follow up and broken promises, failure to live up to rebate committments.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this company!
They are either incompetent or dishonest or both..either case, save your self the headache and dont use them!

This is what I experienced with Freds;

Upon sale and service of a new Heating and AC system in July of 2014, Freds committed to take care of both the Xcel Energy Rebates as well as committing to get the Rheem Fall rebates to me, even though the work was done before the Rheem rebates were available. To paraphrase FREDS, ""..no problem, Freds will get you the Rheem mfg rebates that will come in the fall for these units, we (Freds) will take care of, even though you are getting the work done now..these rebates are large, anywhere from $800-$1000+ on theses units.. go ahead and get the work done now, we will get you those rebates in the fall...no problem!""

1) Freds failed to turn in the Xcel Energy rebates promptly, delaying my recepit of those rebates. It wasnt until I called Xcel directly to find out that Freds had not turned in the paperwork, then I notified Freds, that this became apparent. Freds claimed all along that they had turned in the rebates , but in fact, had not.

2) despite constant follow-up by me and continunal committments by Freds to provide the Rheem mfg rebates, which were published in Sept, I have yet to see any $$ come to me. After many excuses, Freds recently stated that they are having issues with Rheem, and are not ""qualifed with Rheem"" so they will have to pay these promised rebates directly to me. A date has yet to be provided for payment despite repeated attempts. Freds indicate that business is slow, so they dont have the extra $$ at this time. The amount Freds is offering is substainally less than the published mfg rebates.

Again, save your self the troubles and use another comapy for your HVAC needs!
