Matt Fratzel tackled several plumbing issues in my house, some of which were a bit challenging from an installation standpoint. He knocked it out of the park. He's great about communicating job status, arrival time, etc. And he put up with my ""enthusiastic"" dogs lol. Would recommend him without hesitation.

We had a terrible experience with Fratzel Plumbing, and the owner, Matt Fratzel. We hired Fratzel to take care of various plumbing problems in a house we were rehabbing, and all we had were problems with Fratzel all along the way, such as repeat leak issues that should have been taken care of the first time they were addressed. In a couple of instances, leaks had to be addressed two-three times before they were finally fixed, such as the Master bath shower and kitchen faucet. In the case of the kitchen faucet, we had to remove damage tiles below and re-install. In another case, after asking Matt to make sure all issues were addressed, it wasn't until the Inspector caught the leaky tub plumbing that it was noticed. Matt said, ""I'm sorry about that"". By that time, it was far too late and we almost lost the deal with the Buyer, and it totally ruined our credibility with the Buyer's Agent.

In the end when I discussed all of these problems with Matt, and the high prices he charged us for everything, he said ""I will never forget this project and I hope I never encounter anything like this again"". That was surprising, considering all the issues we had were normal plumbing problems. Even with that, he declined to offer any sort of reduced pricing or concessions for the hassle, lost time, and other issues his incompetent plumbing caused us. His lack of sincerity was glaring. Saying you are sorry is one thing, but meaning it is another, and he clearly didn't mean it. For the prices you will pay for this Plumber (which are near the top of what we found in KC), and the hassles you may experience with him, such as what we went through, I would look to the many honest and dependable plumbers in KC for assistance rather than use Fratzel Plumbing, and hear excuse after excuse about why things went wrong. If he counters this review in a phony way, I will be happy to post the email exchanges I had with him about all of this so you can see firsthand what took place, and how he handled this situation.

I was referred to Matt Fratzl by my friends at Sage Restoration. We needed a plumber to come out to balance and hook up a washer supply line. Matt sent one of his guys right away... literally that afternoon. He was courteous, nice and knew what he was doing. He gave us the confidence that the job was done right and educated us while he worked. I highly recommend Fratzel Plumbing!
