I couldn't rate Frans plumbing any higher. Hands down the most honest plumber you'll find. Shane is not only honest, but super communicative, and truly enjoys his profession. I had a water heater pilot issue, and EVERY plumber I called wouldn't even look at it, and only would replace the whole unit. After about 2 minutes on the phone, Shane told me it's likely I wouldn't need to replace, and it could be a minor issue, he just needs to take a look to confirm. Shane came out promptly the next morning, troubleshoot the unit, and fixed the pilot ignition within about 10 minutes.

Honesty is tough to find these days, especially with the big plumbing companies. Do yourself a favor and call Frans plumbing next time you have an issue, I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. Frans is my new go-to, for sure.

Let me just say that Shane (owner) goes above and beyond for his clients. He spent a solid hour and a half going through our house while I voiced my concerns and he was extremely thorough to say the least.

Shane is extremely patient with you, as long as you're not a total knob of course haha, and he works with you in every which way. I want to emphasize the patience portion, because I've had some timing conflicts on my part that have disrupted his schedule and he's handled them with grace and I very much appreciate that because I have a lot going on right now.

He got us our quote the same day and was available to start work the following week, almost immediately. I will update as he's able to finish our home within the next couple of weeks, but alas we're going to be experiencing some horrible weather so it looks like all of the projects I have for him will be postponed for a sunnier day.

Fingers crossed that I found the plumber of my dreams, because lord knows we can all use an honest and reliable long-term plumber in our lives! Happy yelping and stay dry!

Shane is nothing short from amazing! He is dependable and goes out if his way to help in a pinch if needed. His prices are reasonable and he is multi-talented and has helped us on various occasions in our primary home, parents' home, and one of our rentals with difficult plumbing surprises that are common in older HB homes. He also does drywall and electrical as well. Additionally, Shane is a kind person and is very sweet with my elderly dad. I will continue to use him for all of our plumbing plus needs and I highly recommend him to anyone in the OC area.

I had a pin hole leak on my pipe below the trap primer.
The water had to be shut off and I started calling plumbers. Not only did Shane answer and was able to come the same day. He was very courteous. Did the job in 10 mins, no more leaks. Weeks passed by and the trap primer was defective and started leaking, Shane to the rescue again. Did the job quick and easy. He will not gouge you on pricing like the other plumbers do. Do not hesitate to use Shane for your next plumbing job. I am recommending him to all my friends and family.

Several years ago, Shane installed our new heating and air conditions system. We were quoted a great price for installation. This is a 90 year old house, and no one had ever installed air conditioning. So this was such a treat for us and the system has worked flawlessly ever since.

This year our water heater went out, and we called Shane. He installed a new tankless water heater, which has provided us with an endless supply of hot water. Shane is always very pleasant to deal with. We will use his services for future plumbing needs!
