In honor of Women's History Month Frank's put on an evening plumbing class for women which I attended with a friend. Abby, Mike and Frank were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time for this free event. Mike and Frank traded off during the presentation and their passion for their work was obvious. They let us ask as many questions as we wanted and provided thorough explanations of common household plumbing issues. Always make sure your sump pump is plugged in before you call a professional!

I especially appreciated that they were very clear that they would not be making any sales during or after the class. If you want to set up an appointment you have to call the next day. There was no pressure to buy anything, it was truly just a free service to better the community and that is hard to find these days.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Carl came out and fixed my pipes that another company broke by not snaking correctly. The other company left a total mess for me to deal with and never even fixed the clog . Carl came out and gave me three estimates for various things that I wanted done. We set up an appointmant for two days later, he was on time, cleaned up after the job was completed and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Not to mention very polite and knowledgeable. I have had several plumber over the years, and Mr. Plumber /Carl has been by far the best. It's very hard to find such good service these days. I Never thought I would be so happy to wash dishes again lol. I will recommend him to anyone I know needing a plumber. Excellent service

I filed a claim through Homeserve and they chose this company to do the work. They came out and assessed the job. Never heard back until I called Homeserve to inquire about the status. So 3 weeks later they came back to take pictures. Never heard back from this company, phone calls ignored. I have not been able to use my kitchen sink for month. Homeserve had to assign a different company.

Franks is professional, and maybe typical of flatwork plumbers, but I paid over 500 dollars for a leaky faucet cartridge and a 3/4 inch ball valve shut off. Just for the cartridge which took me about 10 minutes and a 20 dollar part in the past was 400 dollars!!! I had surgery so could not do this, so they did it. In the past this took me about 45 minutes and about 50.00 of materials. Totally ripped off!!

I had used Frank's in the past for other properties my family owns and have been happy with them. Not over the moon, but satisfied. I had a water and sewer line break in my front yard and started the process of a quote with Frank's through my insurance October 8 of 2023. They promised it done by the end of October so I proceeded to dig up my entire front garden. By the end of November no call back from them. I called and they said they were having paperwork problems with my insurance. Wish they would have communicated this with me. I called my insurance and they said Frank's was not submitting the itemized bill that was needed to pay with insurance. I called Frank's and they said oh yeah they would do that. This exact back and forth went on until April with me spending hours on the phone being an intermediary between them to try and get this work done. In the meantime by water pressure was getting worse and my pipes were collapsing in my front yard. They finally came mid April to do the work. It was done fast. They filled the hole back in with clay, broken sidewalk, and a hornet's nest. They did not come back to repair sidewalk for a few weeks and the street hole was repaired in June.
NEXT ISSUE:
October 8 2023 I asked for an additional quote to have my exterior hose spigot replaced. Easy standard job. Guy quoted me and said he would be back the next week to do it after he found a black spigot for me if possible to match the exterior of the house. No show or call back. I called at the end of November and was apologized to and told it fell through the cracks and they would have someone call me that day or the next. NO CALL AGAIN. I called at the end of December and was told the same thing; sorry, it was a mistake, the guy will call today. NO CALL AGAIN. I called in the Spring. Again, sorry, we forgot about this job, he will call. When they came to do the sewer line job I mentioned it again. They again apologized and said they would get to it right away. Fast forward to July 2024 I called and asked when would I expect to hear from them. They said since it has been so long since the first quote they had to send someone out to quote it again. What?! So possible change the price? They gave me a show up window of 12-5pm. In the time waiting for the guy to show up and give me a second quote I called Shotwell Plumbing. They gave me a quote over the phone of $10 less than the original quote and said they would just come next week and do the job and get it done. I called Frank's back and after waiting on hold listening to the recording of how they get the job done when they promise and don't make you wait I let them know to cancel my quote visit and I was going with a different company.
When they do the work it is ok, but that is when they actually get around to doing the work.

Not only were they knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant, but they went above and beyond to readjust an improperly installed (by another company) dishwasher. Shane from Mr Plumber was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up everything when he was done.
I did agree to have the work done, even after given the estimate, we thought it was high, but we wanted the work done. When the office called to see how my experience was I told her I was happy with Shane and the work, but thought the cost was high, and that it would have been nice to know upfront that the cost is fixed, and there is no itemized invoice.
Frank called me back with in 10 minutes of the conversation, after explaining to him my feelings and thoughts, we came to an agreement on a lower price.
