Recommended Customer Reviews

I called to schedule a garbage disposal fix appointment and he helped by walking me through a few east steps to fix it on my own, for free. Really happy he saved me the time and money for an appointment and will definitely be calling him again next time I have a plumbing problem.

Native San Franciscan's pick. I recommend him highly. Frank knows plumbing. He's honest, responsive and skilled. He's kept this old house in the flow for years :)

OK.....not sure when the wheels fell off on customer service or maybe it's when Lupe is on the call, but the call is slow to come back, if at all and then days late and then not as promised. Half-hearted attempt to work me in late in the day and only after a stupid number of calls to even get a return call. I have referred several other jobs on top of my own. Actually referred my neighbor and she complained the chatting to work ratio was 40/60. So really not a lot of second hand or first hand good news to report on Lupe here. You'd think with all the referrals (NCMACC on Geary too) alone that would give me at least adequate customer service. Moving on from Frank's All City Plumbing. Tried Response Plumbing and got the service I expected. No complaints with Frank's work. All his work is A O.K. STILL.
Frank is AWESOME! He shows up on time, calls to confirm, does the job and willing to teach you some plumbing if you're interested. He reminds me of my Pop, a good guy who gets the job done right AND the first time. Frank replaced two funky old toilets for 2 ToTos- one in my house and one in my rental. He came as promised when promised and cranked out the work in no time. I'd DEFINITELY refer Frank's All City Plumbing. Thanks Frank!

I have contacted Frank twice and had immediate response. This time it was 4pm on Saturday afternoon and the sewer was backing up affecting 3 apartments and a restaurant. YUCK! He was there right away and we now have a fresh smelling building. My tenants and I were very appreciative!!!!!

Our building had a plumbing emergency this afternoon, and we found Frank on Yelp. He was here within 20 min and he was fast and efficient. He and his colleague were very friendly and completed the job quickly. He was also very reasonably priced especially since we called him today.

it's a dirty business, and someone's gotta do it.
frank was responsive, and lupe was personable.
they get their shit done. pun intended. duh

I'm an SF apartment-dweller, generally dependent on the el-cheapo fix-it guys with ties to the building owner. Workmanship and materials always leave me (and my neighbors) unhappy. So when the manager was away and I had a problem, I called Frank. What a breath of fresh air.
I've used Frank twice. Super efficient, same-day service, good-quality materials but respectful of the bottom line. He's in, job's done, he's on his way. I can be a real skeptic, but Frank I trust implicitly. Nice guy, and he really knows his stuff. And he'll take a moment to explain what went wrong, and what to be mindful of, moving forward. Oh, and he came highly recommended via Cole Hardware -- from a veteran clerk/handyman who's relied on Frank for his own plumbing problems.
Frank brings a refreshing small-town attitude to the city. Thank you, Frank!

I feel a little conflicted giving Frank a bad review. I got the feeling like he is a damn good plumber. in fact, I hired him because he gives the impression that he has done the work for a long time, and does it well.
I hired him to install a gas heater in a mother-in-law unit in the mission. mission accomplished-the room gets warm now-but that's about all he got right.
He cut into the wrong gas line to split off (ok because the three units are owned by me and my two brothers) and then ran the pipe along the outside wall, despite our agreement that he would go through the inside, thus minimizing the ugly metal pipe all over the wall of the courtyard.
maybe he was too busy that day and was just trying to rush through it, maybe like he said he just forgot. but it sure seemed like a big mistake to only offer fifty bucks rebate on a 1600 dollar job.
in fact, the more I think about it, I should have just refused to pay him, and make him redo the work.
so if you hire him for a big job, be prepared to stay home as he works, and make sure he doesn't cut corners.

I use Frank because of yelp and I'am glade that I call him my sewer line was clog and the sink and toilet was backing up. So Frank came out look at the situation and gave me a price on doing the work. Frank went out and found the plumbing drain clean out and use a snake too run in the sewer pipe about 20min into the work the sink started to drain he test all the drain and made sure there wasn't any other problem.Good Job

We've used Frank a half dozen times and always been happy. Frank has also taken emergency calls on weekends and holidays from us and always helps quickly at a fair price.
