We've called Frank a few times over the years and he has always been reliable, helpful and efficient. He came to fix a broken trap today and got the job done very quickly - price was reasonable and exactly as quoted. He provided some recommendations for a longer term design fix for the sink, and also helped with a minor problem in another bathroom.
Very happy with the work - and happy to recommend Frank.

I had a clogged sink. The plumber did more chatting then fixing. He went on and on and was incredibly unprofessional. He broke something while doing his repairs and tried to pass it off as if it was already broken instead of admitting he had damaged it. When he wrote up the invoice he tried to pass the part he broke as a freebie. I felt like I was being taken advantage of between the amount of time he spent chatting and the broken pipe.

When I initially called Frank in March of 2014, he was very prompt in returning my call and scheduling time to fix leaks in my place. He had me text him some photos so he could estimate the cost of the job.
Frank came out with 2 other guys for this job. One of the other guys was supposed to work at my neighbor's place. It turned out that the work couldn't be done that day, so all 3 of them worked at my place, even though Frank initially quoted me only 2 plumbers for my job.
I was charged an appalling $757 for their labor: a water shut-off in our building, replacement of my kitchen faucet (which I purchased separately), and to fix the leaks in my bathroom sink and bathtub faucets. It took them 40 minutes to figure out how to shut off the water in our building (takes our resident plumber 5 minutes), and they were in and out of my place in a couple of hours.
The initial charge was going to be more; I managed to negotiate with Frank down to $757, arguing that he was standing over the guy who did the water shut-off (he wasn't doing anything himself). I was in such shock that I just wrote the check and told myself to forget about it and let it go.
Within a few months, the bathroom sink was leaking again. Badly. I've permanently set a towel next to the cold water handle to soak up all the water. By December 2014, the bathtub faucet was also leaking, a very steady dripdripdrip into the tub.
I do NOT recommend using Frank's plumbing service. I feel that they were dishonest and, and I paid for a job that was not done well.

Updated review, 5 stars again: Frank is awesome because he is honest and helpful!
I'm old enough to remember when needing a plumber, auto mechanic, or many other services was a scary time because without Yelp, there was a very real chance that an ""expert"" would drum up extra charges and unnecessary services.
Two weeks ago, my sink acted up with a drip. After trying to fix it myself that night, I called Frank the next day and he taught me how to fix it by tightening the hose. I had tightened it by hand among the dozen other things I tried, but based on Frank's advice I tightened it with a wrench and it worked. Then a couple days later we noticed water building up at the bottom of the dishwasher, and wasn't sure if it was related. I called him, thinking I finally had a good opportunity to pay him for his services. At this point I almost wanted an excuse to pay him for something. Sure enough, he fixed it by phone again! He recommended I check the air gap on the sink, so I pulled it off, cleaned off some gunk that seemed to be blocking the tube inside, and our problem was solved!
The background to all of this is that I have never been great at home improvements or fixing non-electronics like plumbing, but with Yelp's ability to surface an honest plumber, I look like superman to my wife!

We needed a new bathroom sink. Frank came out to assess, and Lupe and Raymond did the installation of a sink that I bought using Franks's guidance. Service and work were professional, fast, well done.
Nobody wants another plumbing issue, but I'd call Frank's All Plumbing any time.

My downstairs drain was backing up. I had called 4 plumbers and since it was Sunday late afternoon, 3 didn't answer and one said he was booked up until Tuesday. Frank answered right away and scheduled a Monday appt. for me with Lupe and Ray. On Monday, they showed up on time and they were awesome! Efficient, proficient and very easy to deal with -- it was a pleasure to have them in my house. Solved the problem quickly and were on their way. I would definitely use Frank's again, no question.

Called and got an appointment. Got a call at appointment time for the next day. Got a call that the truck broke down at the time of thhe appointment. Frank's said they would call me to reschedule......still waiting.

* This review is for outstanding morale fiber. They did not end up needing to actually do any plumbing. *
We live in a condo complex and our sinks were overflowing. Frank sent Lupe to come take a look within 45 minutes.
Lupe discovered that the problem was with the building's main piping, and not our unit's piping. Therefore, he recommended we contact our Home Owner's Association to clear out the main piping.
He said he could do some work on our pipes, but none of it would solve the core issue and he would not feel right charging us for that.
Lupe then helped us lay out next steps for contacting our HOA to resolve the issue, and gave us his card in case they needed to reference his deduction.
He did not charge us a cent. Outstanding character and service.

I found Frank & Lupe based on their Yelp reviews. These guys are truly the best! I have an old sink that refused to drain and was leaking underneath into the cabinets. Frank & Lupe spent the time to investigate and tried several methods of clearing the drain and after four hours....they did it. Best of all was the price....super reasonable.

My garbage disposal was making a noise like a piece of metal was in there.
My husband (extremely unhandy and can't even hang a picture on the wall) was convinced it was a loose screw/part in the disposal. I put a flash light in there and didn't see anything.
I called Frank and explained the situation. I asked if it could be a loose part. He was 100% sure that something was inside and told me to look again, closely. Long and behold, there was a penny in our disposal that was so scratched up, it looked like a part of the disposal.
If I ever need a repair work, I will definitely use Frank. He could have come over, fixed the issue in less than 1 minute, and charged us the minimum fee. He's an honest repair guy that can identify the issue.
