I would not recommend this company to anyone! I called for a leak in the pressure switch to a pressure tank. I was very specific about what was happening on at least three conversations, two with the office staff and one with the service technician. They came for the call, were here less than five minutes and told me that they could not work on it because it was a well and they did not work on wells, I needed to call a well and pump company. They charged my $75. I called back the next day after I thought about it to discuss a refund because I should have been told on the phone that they did not work on wells since pressure tanks are unique to wells. I was told that they gave me a deal since they normally charge $150 for a call. I told them it was not a deal since the call should not have happened in the first place. That is a pretty quick way to make some money! Where is the integrity these days!

Franklin Plumbing did a great job for me the price was competitive. They started the job when they said and finished as planned. The area cleaned up when done. . All the workers and owner Mike very pleasant to work with over the 5 day project.

My neighbor had Franlin plumbing install a tankless water heater a year ago. I decided to give them a try. I called one Monday for a Wednesday appointment. I was given a 8:30 to 12:30 window for the estimate. I call at 12:25 to see why I had not heard from the estimator. He arrived a little after 1 pm. He quoted me nearly $7 K for the installation. I found the water heater on line for under $2K. So they wanted $5k to do the install.
I find that price outragious.

Not good at all! They kept rescheduling us, been weeks now, finally got done with hose bibs, sinks, and gas lines issues. Almost nothing done correctly. Then was charged way more than originally quoted. Very unprofessional.

I would give a 0 star if that were allowed. I had a sewer pipe clog at my down town business. Franklin came out to scope with a camera that did not work, kept giving me excuses that the pipe was too clogged. We had no toilets for over a week as the same Incompetent idiot came out after hours everyday, unable to 'see' the clog. After almost $700 and no resolve I finally called a decent plumber who had it fixed in less than an hour. Turned out the idiot was going the WRONG direction in the pipe! They still charged me and then after the fact sent me another bill! Never again. Do not trust them Prescott!

We love the community in Prescott. The folks are genuine and helpful... so my wife and I bought an investment property in town. We requested gas service to be turned on. The technician arrived, inspected the house and declared the meter was too small for the number of appliances in the house....After changing the meter, he declared we had a leak between the meter and the house and issued a Red Tag....(funny the previous owner didn't have a leak...)
I called Franklin and requested an estimate.
Now you need to know I have been a California licensed general contractor and certified building designer for over 45 years. Our focus has mostly been on home renovations and remodels. Replacing, modifying and adding gas lines and conducting in house labor services for plumbing is one of our services.
The gents (why they need 3 men there is beyond me) from Franklin showed up and took a look. They offered a replacement plan that made sense. But then they quoted me $6000 to $6500 to install a new line that was less than 80 ft long (only 60 ft underground).
I expressed my opinion and was told "" the ground may be difficult to dig through due to granite formations"". Then I was offered a T&M prospect (time and materials) with the best scenario coming in at $3,000. This seemed reasonable as I was comparing what we charge in CALIFORNIA and agreed. BTW this would have been the same or less in California.....
Now I have to accept some of the blame here, because my time in town was limited, I made a decision without comparing quotes...
They were quick to get it done and my property manager went by and took pictures. Unfortunately, she did not capture how many workmen were on the job. They were completed in less than 2 days. (According to their bill it took 14 hours).
Upon receipt of the invoices, I was pained that it came to an ASTOUNDING $4,899.53!!
I took to email and sent the following;
""Good afternoon Brian,
We are in receipt of your invoice #8486 dated 6/29/2021
When meeting with your personnel on site I was give an approximate estimate of $6k.
As a trade professional with 45 plus years of experience, installing gas lines being a part of our work, I questioned the bill.
It was explained that the ground could be difficult to excavate due to boulders and rocks. I understand these conditions can complicate production. However, this lot is flat, open and free of any rock formations. I understand what is below the surface is unknown.
Further conversation with your crew determined that this work could be performed on a time and materials basis, your hourly rate was established and a somewhat optimistic quote of $3k was given based upon T&M.
I accepted this as reasonable based upon my own experience.
Our property manager did take photos each day and it is noted that the time frame of 14 hours appears to be accurate including the rain interference with production.
Having received the bill, the majority of which is acceptable, I must object to the necessity for a third man for 14 additional hours.
I would ask that the invoice be revised and reduced by the additional 14 hours for a third man.
The total amount would be $3,849.53.
Please advise if you will accept this adjustment"".
THREE MEN?!? Why on earth would you need three men? There isn't enough work to keep two me busy full time much less THREE MEN.
Their reply:
Hello Scott, this is Brian we spoke at your place here in Prescott. Originally, I gave you a verbal price of $6000.00. We spoke further and agreed on doing the job on a time and material basis. I felt and you agreed with me that the likelihood of saving you money was good. We agreed on doing the job in this manner. With that I sent our crew that specializes in digging and installing outside utilities. That crew is a three-man crew and has been for many years. They always do a great job and typically get jobs done ahead of schedule. This again was the case at your place. We pulled a permit, dug the gas line, installed the gas line, got the gas line inspected, and then we backfilled the gas line. All of this was done in 14 hours. I have been plumbing for many, many years, and in my professional opinion that is a superb job. My ballpark estimate told you somewhere between $3000 and $6000 and we did just that. In my honest opinion we were able to do the job that quickly because we had a three-man crew there. I have gone over the bill personally and checked against the GPS on the vehicle and see no discrepancies in the hours we charged. I did notice we did not bill you the cost of the permit, and the cost for the shade material we brought in to shade the gas pipe. That alone is $250.00. Hopefully, I have answered any questions you may have had and we can get this bill paid.
Paid the bill. Posted this review....
You now have all the facts...it's up to you whether or not you want to hire them...

They did a great job of installing a new gas water heater to replace my 21 year old one. After they left I found that one of the pipes leading to the expansion tank was leaking. When I told them about this they came right back and fixed it. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

We needed a water turnoff removed behind our dishwasher and the dishwasher attached. They came quickly, knew what needed the be done, did the job well and were very nice to work with. I will definitely use them again

I called Franklin Plumbing on Friday and they came over on Saturday and did a great job. I had to replace a garbage disposal and unplug a drain. They did both jobs in a timely fashion and the work was excellent.

We own a nice rental home in Prescott. I was informed that we may have a slab leak. I called Franklin Plumbing and they did a thorough investigation and it turned out to be the pipe from the street to the house. Still a headache but much less than if it had been a slab leak. I greatly appreciated their honesty. Franklin got right out there and fixed the situation and even installed an extra valve to make it easier to test in the future should we ever need to. They also did a detailed job cleaning up the yard and putting the rock back just as it was. Worked with Brian - he did a great job.
