I s heckled a technician to give us an estimate on a water heater. It is located in a peculiar location outside the house with a small building around it to protect it from the elements. I explained that a panel would need to be removed by removing the screws to gain access to the existing heater. The technician did not want to take the extra time to remove the screws and as a result snapped the panel in half. He assured me it would be fixed the next day. 3 days later I called and spoke to an owner and he assured me it would be fixed (without apologizing). It has been 2 weeks and my existing water heater is still exposed to the elements because they have not repaired the damage. I am so disappointed that this company who has been our go to for plumbing needs for the last 5 years has behaved with complete disregard for the customer.

i had a plugged toilet that a plumbers helper wouldn't clear. Frank Wood & Son came out promptly, fixed it with an auger, and gave me some helpful tips on any future clogs. The men were polite and informative.

Technician showed up on time, seemed knowledgeable. Needed a water faucet replaced. It was sweated on and tight as well as painted over. I feel it should just been cut off and replaced but tech tried to sweat it off for more pipe to work with. Took over two hours and still had to cut it. Their hourly rate is very high and was not explained prior to work being done. The tech did ok but I feel took to long to complete. And he had to go get a faucet from Lowe's you would think they carried replacement parts in the truck. I was also charged for his travel time to/from Lowe's. Will not use again or recommend due to hourly rates. I will say that Frank Wood called a few days later and said that he had reviewed my bill and that it was too high for the service that was rendered. He did adjust the bill to a lower amount and was very gracious and apologize for any inconvenience that I had. I think that was very nice of him to do and a follow-up on. It gave me a better outlook on his company.

Started seeing discoloration on the second floor ceiling in the vicinity of third floor bathtub. Concerned that it was a leak in the drain line we contacted several plumbing companies, and Frank Wood Plumbing understood the urgency of the situation and responded quickly. Luckily the problem was not a leaking bathtub drain line, but a clogged AC drain, and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. Frank Wood Plumbing's charges for this emergency call were quite fair and reasonable. Thank you!!!

Very good communication with their office stating when they could perform the work and their arrival time. Showed up on time, installed my whole house water system, but had a small leak as I noticed the next morning. I called them, they came back out promptly and took care of it. No big deal, things happen, as I am a business owner also. Will definitely use them again. Mark E.

Called them, told them precisely what I needed. Got a price, agreed to the price. Two weeks prior to the project now they want to jack up the price. Priced this project a month prior. When I tried to discuss with salesman Jeff, now they've decided to just not do it at all rather than honor their commitment.

I had a bathroom plumbing leak and Jeff came out to give an estimate. When the work was done, had a handyman complete the drywall and install a new vanity. The original estimate included the vanity install and the bill came out at the top end of the estimate and they didn't install the vanity. I inquired with Jeff because I thought the handyman services were included in the final bill. Unfortunately they were not and I was overcharged by quite a bit. I even texted Jeff since I never heard back from him and he once again did not reply. He mentioned 2 visits which was incorrect as they only came out once (other than the estimate visit) and came out to be about $500/hour. Although I appreciated the quickness in resolving the issue, the fees were way overpriced. I would at least expect some kind of reply, one way or the other, but never received. I had a horrible experience with a previous plumbing company and was glad for the quick assist and planned on using Frank & Sons going forward, but without customer concern and being overcharged, I will have to look elsewhere.
