I was very disappointed after I got good recommendations from neighbors. I tithought he was coming at 10, called when he wasn't here by 10:15. He said he couldn't come until around noon, then called at 11:15 saying he was outside my door. He was actually at the wrong house.
He charged me $105 for 20 minutes work and replacing 2 washers. He explained that the labor was $100. This was outrageous for 20 minutesof work.
I would definitely not recommend him.

Frank the Plumber was recommended to us by our neighbor. I am glad we followed up on that recommendation. We had several minor plumbing problems such as clogged sink drains, clogged faucet filters. Frank was responsive to our telephone call; showed up exactly when he said he would; and fixed everything quickly and for a very reasonable price. We would not hesitate to call Frank again for general plumbing problems.

We've used Frank's service several times over the last 5 years and have always found him to be helpful, honest, and reasonably priced. We had a broken toilet that needed to be removed and replaced, and he was able to do the work in no time at all. I asked him for advice on how to handle this issue in the future (as I'd broken the original toilet myself while trying to fix it...whoops!!), and he was happy to take some time after the work was done to explain what I'd done wrong and give me some tips on how to avoid making those mistakes in the future.

He really didn't need to do that, because next time something plumbing related comes up I'm just going to call Frank first instead! Great service. Highly recommended. Thanks Frank!

Frank was recommended to us by a friend in Brea. He just fixed my leaking shower. He showed up on time for our appointment, and quickly assessed the problem and provided a quote. He was very professional, and did the work for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend using Frank.

He was referred to us by a friend. Our friend said that he did a decent job for general plumbing at a fair price and only had 1 complaint. When he worked on the shower he mixed up the hot and cold so now the cold turns on the hot and the hot turns on the cold. They couldn't fix it because it wasn't caught until after the shower enclosure was installed. I went ahead and scheduled him for my brother's place to snake a drain. Took a week to get a return call from him, but was able to schedule an appointment that worked with his schedule. Since my brother couldn't get off work I arranged to get off work early to meet Frank. Day came... no show. Called him, got voicemail. I took into consideration that perhaps a previous appointment took longer than expected and was open to reschedule, but after leaving him a couple more voicemails he never made an effort to call back. I ended up calling a larger plumbing outfit that was professional, reasonable priced and worked with our schedule so we didn't have to take time off work to meet them.

Frank the Plumber is not recommended.

We did not have a good experience with Frank.

He had real difficulty diagnosing our plumbing problem. In fact, he misdiagnosed it for over a week as a problem with the AC condensation line; all the while we continued to have a leak. In the process he made numerous unnecessary cuts in our drywall. It turned out it was a main drain line from upstairs which is what we told him in the first place. He referred us to a company to repair the dry wall he cut to make the repair. They made a complete mess of the job and didn't complete it.

At his suggestion, he re-piped our sprinkler system connection to the main water line. A few months later, we had to turn off the main water valve to replace a broken water turn on-off valve. When we turned the water back on, the pipes Frank installed in the sprinkler system started spewing water from the connection. When we called Frank, he said we broke the line which was not possible because we didn't touch it. He was angry and rude. He refused to come out within the next few days to fix his shoddy work even though our sprinkler system was not functional. He did agree to come out a week later on Wednesday, but did not show up and did not call. We had to get someone else to repair his work.

We found Frank difficult to deal with because of his uneven temperament: moody, volatile, rude, and angry. He demonstrated dubious diagnostic skills on our job, did shoddy work, refused to fix the problem, and was unreliable.

I wouldn't use him again and would not recommend him.

I liked the conversation Frank and I had over the phone; however, due to my timing, Frank was unavailable so he accommodated me by sending a colleague who was honest and professional. Even after the repair, I was actually overcharged on mistake, and Frank called to issue a refund for $5.

You went out of your way to help me remove the existing water heater and exchange it at the home improvement warehouse nearby.

I recommend Frank the Plumber to anyone in Orange County, especially close to La Habra. I wanted a plumber that was nearby and he was definitely the right choice of all the other Yelp plumbers I reviewed. Frank is also tech savvy, he responded to my phone calls, text messages, voice mails and emails promptly. What more can you ask for?! Some of the other companies that I requested a quote never responded to my inquiry. Don't hesitate to request a quote from Frank, he will answer your questions. Thank you so much for being on Yelp. The next time I have plumbing troubles I will call Frank.

We needed a variety of work done and Frank was the man to get it done. First it was the water heater then we remodeled and needed tons of help. He did a great job with our kitchen sink and also our bathroom remodel. I would recommend him to anybody needing plumbing, etc.
