Frank and his assistant did a great job on our propane fireplace conversion. Work was done on time and at a very competitive price. We were very impressed how carefully the work was done and they cleaned after themselves (asked to use our vacuum, e.g.). Lastly, we passed inspection.

In less than 24 hours, Frank renounced? our warranty?, picked up and took the broken heater, picked up and installed the new one! Furnace broke down during a wintry storm. Although we had a contract with our oil supplier for emergency repairs, we chose to engage Frank's knowledge and service. He recommended we use our contracted service for the things that they covered to save us money, and he'd return to service the rest at a reasonable cost. He stayed on call in case the heating company couldn't fulfill their end in the storm. Everything worked out as planned. Frank is honest and empathetic. Very talented. Community oriented.

I have been using Frank Ungaro for all my plumbing and heating needs for over 10 years in my Yorktown home. He is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, honest and extremely fair with his billings. I highly recommend him. Over the years there have been many times I have called him in the middle of the night or on a holiday and he has dropped everything and responded to my home in a very timely manner. He has always been there when we have needed him and he is not the type of person to over-bill or just do work for the sake of billing as so many in this trade do.I was very lucky to find Frank many years ago and wish all of my home vendors were as good as he is! One very important thing to note is that although Frank is a great plumber, he is also skilled and experienced with heating, oil burners, boilers, etc. which many plumbers profess to know and understand but do truly not as I learned the hard way when I first bought my home.
