I got a skylight leaking emergency and asked Frank to repair the wall only and he scheduled next month. Plus we talked about a sump pump to be installed at our side yard previously. We had the wall repaired before that and thinking he may have that sump pump to install then. When the date arrived. He isn't showing or leave any time for that, not even quote or schedule a new date. Just no profession no processing. Not like any other workers that shows on time and reply email or text or picking up phone. No plan or no management for that business.
Renew review: I am usually grateful for workers that have done projects in our house so I gave it second chance to do renovations again. After several two large projects has done and paid. He bring workers to my back yard the time he want and ask check price for the same day, I thought to discuss with him a little later. However, when I sand my own handrails with workers in order to save some fund for my son university, he yelled and threw a tantrum for not getting the check he wants last time. He showed up late around 12 and yelled to leave earlier on 3pm. He treated customers no trust and no manners communication. I have a abusive husband that scared my kids and me previously then he shows similar manners when we didn't do anything improper with him. It's terrible way to do business for only want large amount money and no basic respect. He end up didn't even apologize or take responsibility for it. I paid him more than ten checks previously and his estimation always isn't accurate and so much lower. He yelled to get a check at same day notice without discuss the amount previously. We paid double estimated price to install a sump pump and drain, double estimated price to renew the floor of gazebo, and he has no responsibility or gratitude toward projects or customers. It's disappointing and not worthy. He isn't handyman no more. He is just taking contractor's project pretending to be one without proper responsibility and profession.

My experience using Frank Benton's Handyman Service has been a five star experience. I hired Frank to do some remodeling on a newly purchased home that needed some major overhauling done. I found him to be very proficient and knowledgeable in all aspects of construction including plumbing, electrical and flooring. He shows up on the job in a timely fashion. If he is going to be late or cannot make it, he will call or text. He is very willing to explain to you why he is doing a job a certain way and is good about asking how you want your finished job to look. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any project that I wanted done whether big or small.

What you will likely experience if you choose to utilize this dedicated worker for any of numerous jobs around your house: Frank delivers a well-considered estimate, he shows up on time with tools ready to work, he makes sure the work is done correctly, he doesn't waste time, and he cleans up after the work is completed to your satisfaction. What you will not get with Frank: he doesn't bring his dog, or stomp out cigarettes on your driveway, doesn't insist on playing headbanger music while he works, and he doesn't make excuses. Frank installed a solid chain-link fence for me at a fraction of other quotes given me locally, and a solid wood pergola to shade a side of the house that gets beaten by the sun in hot local summers. He takes pride in his work and his reputation and the quality of his work reflects this.

I spoke with Frank today about a customer of mine who is looking at getting a ground mounted Sunpower solar system installed at their house and would need a fence around it to keep the deer out and away from the system.
