TL;DR: Five-stars all around. Would absolutely hire again. Denys was methodical with his diagnosis/leak detection and was absolutely correct as to how the leak occurred.

This past weekend, I noticed water damage in my garage by the water shut off valve. It was an active growing water leak (see pictures).

Freaking out, I called around to different plumbing companies to see who could come out. The first few I found did not offer emergency/weekend services, but Denys did.

I called around noon, and he was at my house by 2:15p. He was professional, kind, and explained what he was doing and his thought process. Through his diagnosis, he determined the leak must be a small leak and eventually isolated the issue to our master closet (which shares a wall with our garage's attic).

He cut a square piece of drywall from below our closet's shelf, and we could see the active leak dripping down a plastic pipe. He followed that pipe up above our closet shelf and cut out another section of drywall. We all noted that section of the pipe was dry.

He turned off the water again, and then he cut the pipe at both ends accessible via the drywall. Before doing so, he mentioned that builders often punch nails through the drywall/insulation and sometimes end up hitting the pipe. In one of the pics attached, you can see a pointy end of a nail that missed the stud.

When he pulled the cut section of the pipe out, he was correct. A nail had been punched through the pipe, had rusted over four years, and I guess with the recent freeze/thaw had eventually worn away the nail and caused the leak.

He fit a new section of pipe to our existing pipe and fixed the issue. It was about $700 to fix (would have been cheaper if the leak had occurred during regular business hours lol), but the good news is our builder's warranty will cover this claim. :')

First off, I'm a strong supporter of small business being a small business owner myself. Communication was great with FPP. Out of five requests they were the only one to come when I needed without an emergency fee. They were able to quickly diagnose my issue via picture and video and give me an estimate. Denys was very good at explaining what was going on and suggested what he thought was appropriate, pricing was competitive. It's now 2100 as I'm writing this and he's still working but finishing up. It looks amazing and would recommend this company and they've earned my business.

Had to replace my shutoff valve because it was leaking. Unfortunately due me installing it badly, leaked to the lower floor and had to turn off the water to the home. Mind you, this was on a Saturday evening.

Denys from FPP was quick to respond on Sunday and was at my place within 1h! He was able to diagnose and remediate the problem within another hour. He gave me a rundown of why it leaked, showed me the misinstalled part and educated me on how to properly install it.

Did I mention his fees were incredibly competitive! Will definitely be calling him again if plumbing issues arise!
