I recently had Jupiter Tequesta Plumbing out to my home to resolve a plumbing issue in my bathroom. Just making the appointment was difficult because I was left on hold twice for extended periods and had to hang up and call again later. I was given the name of the 'seasoned' employee who would be coming to complete the repair. On the morning of the scheduled appointment, I called to confirm as I did not receive the confirmation call on the day prior which had been promised. I was told that the same employee identified previously would be coming for my service call. He, however, did not show up but was replaced by two other very young employees. I had no real issues with the technicians but once I received my invoice via email, I noticed that I was charged $99 for a protection plan which I had very specifically declined at the time of service because I am in the process of selling my home and it would be of no value to me. I called Jupiter Tequesta that afternoon, the following day and again on the following Monday requesting the correction and refund of the overpayment. Each time, I was promised a 'Manager' would call me later on the day of the respective call and resolve the matter. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALL BACK FROM JUPITER TEQUESTA AND WHEN I CALLED THE FINAL TIME, I WAS TOLD BY THE OPERATOR THAT THE MANAGER AND/OR OWNER WOULD NOT SPEAK WITH ME. After the endless time on hold during each of the calls during which I was subjected to relentless commercials espousing the outstanding customer service, I could not believe what I was hearing. It is not merely the money but the principles involved in the situation. I could not be more disappointed in the customer service I received from this company.--it was abysmal! Heed the warnings and look elsewhere for a company with integrity to perform your a/c and plumbing needs.

2 weeks ago my electricity in my house went dim. We had no A.C. could not cook on the stove, no washing machine etc or operate anything in the house of more than 110v. I called FP&L and when they finally came out they told me that I had to hire an electrician to fix a part that broke inside my electrical box meter (that FP&L put in and had their lock on!) It was already 3:30pm so my husband called Jupiter Tequesta and made an appointment for the next morning for an electrician. He took the morning off from work and waited because they said they would be there between 8am-10am. Once I got home from dropping my kids off I waited. at 10:10am I called their office and they told me they did not have a service call for us! After a few min. the operator asked around and found the operator who took his call from the day before. (They forgot to put us in the computer for a service call!) They told me that they would have someone out to us by 12:00noon. At 11:10am I called to check their status and the operator told me that we would be between 12-2pm. I took that appointment for the time being and called another company and they told me they could not be out until the next day at 9am (they already had their service calls for the day) I made that appointment with another company for the next day. (I figured if Jupiter-Tequesta did not come out when they said they would I would still have secured an appointment with a reliable company) At 12:30 I called Jupiter-Tequesta to get a better idea of time they would be here (I had to pick up my kids and needed to be home when electrician came too.) The operator at Jupiter Tequesta then told me they could not come until between 2pm-5pm. I cancelled the service call with Jupiter-Tequesta, I had to pick my kids up and had an appointment to take them too also. I was never so frusterated ! Especiallly since the error was on their part! The other company I had made an appointment with for the next day, called me back within a half hour and said their electrician wanted to come by and see what was wrong so he knew what he had to do the next morning. When he came out he said we had to also get a permit from the city for the work before FP&L would hook us back up to full power and then he went down to the town and pulled an emergency permit for us. He came back the next morning right at 9am and the part was fixed within 20 min. and he even called FP&L for our full power restore and gave them the permit number for the work. I have given this company every possible chance. I purchased a brand new AC unit for my condo. The day od installation they were 7 hours late after the installation they came back to re wire and damaged my walls That was Jan 2016 I have had over 7 service calls of untin not working correctly since than. April 14 I was told i need a new motor no AC again for a week. Now May 18 its not working again service call today btwn 10-12 . I asked for a manager to call NO CALL YET WHAT WOULD YOU DO Its covered but im out many many days over and over again. Rolf K

I'm in the process of replacing two units they installed 6 years ago. Maytag units, they had a special deal on. They are junk, Jupiter Tequesta AC is a very clever marketing company with no pride in quality. All about selling you something. Recommend you use another company.

I would NEVER, EVER recommend them I was under service contract with them for over 2 years, bought almost $2,000 dollars worth of A/C related parts/upgrades to my A/C system. When I 1st hired them, they were good, over the past year/year and a 1/2, they have badly declined. The most rece nt issue s that I had 1 of my air handlers freeze up and scheduled a tech to come out. He came out and could not find a coolant leak but claimed to put in a pound of coolant and gave me a bill for $265 dollars. That is/was against the law. He was supposed to explain what was determined to be the problem and cost to repair. That never happened. I didn't want a problem on the spot so I paid the bill and callled the next day and filed a complaint. I was told that that's not how they do business and offered a full refund. I responded by saying, """"no, the technician did become out, the A/C was working, how about we split the charge?"""" I was told okay. So far, there was no problem but here's where it all headed downhill. I was told there was an new accounting/billing system but I would receive a refund check in about a week. Well, 3 weeks went by and still no check. On several occasions, I called and was transferred to a voice mail and no one, EVER returned my call. I filed a complaint with the BBB and only after I (finally) got my check did they respond to THAT complaint. No one ever called and said they were sorry, what they could do to keep me as a customer, NOTHING of that sort. They could have cared LESS that I was disappointed. I called to cancel my contract, was told they would e-mail me a form to fill out and send back which they did. Was also told that it could take up to a month to get a respond. 35 days later, I got the refund check. No phone call, no e-mail, no apologies, just the refund which I called & called & called and waited almost 2 months for. DO NOT HIRE!!! There are other companies that will appreciate your business...this is not one of them.

Needed a simply wax seal replaced on a toilet. Called their call center and was told the repair wouldn't exceed the service call. When they got to my house they told me the repair would be an additional $200. I then wasted 30 minutes arguing when them on the phone. I decided to hang up and call Buckeye Plumbing and they quoted be $150 less! I had a horrible experience with Jupiter Tequesta plumbing- I do NOT recommend them.

Only 1 star because you have to give something to post a review. For a year and a half, I have paid for a higher level service contract that guarantees me same day service for electrical and plumbing. Since their partnership with FPL, I have needed service 4 times (2 electrical, 2 plumbing). On none of these occasions have I been provided with the same day service for which I pay. Their excuse is that they are """"trying to build a better company for their customers"""" by having their technicians retrained by FPL. Needless to say, they have never offered to refund the difference between a standard service contract and the price of the one I have that allegedly guarantees same day service. The most recent electrical appointment I made - which is to finish work they started - is in more than 3 weeks. I will be finding another company to complete the work and cancelling my contracts. DO NOT USE. The partnership with FPL has ruined the customer service of this company.

Very good service. I subscribe to a maintenance plan with Jupiter-Tequesta and I am very satisfied. On my last visit (I get two per year under my plan) the Specialist, Gary Burns, did an excellent job by recommending.the optimal type of filters, showning me some simple procedures for keeping my unit in good shape,and suggesting some useful and resonably priced services as preventative measures for other areasof my home (plumbing). The Specialist, as well as the Customer Service group was helpful, professional, and thorough. Thanks!

This is our second new AC. Jupiter-Tequesta did a good job putting it up on our roof this past summer. Beginning in December, when the AC turned to heat for a couple of days, it would cut out, leaving us without heat at night. JT has sent out at least five people at different times to get it """"fixed"""". Each time it worked for a short time then the same thing would happen. They did finally get it really fixed. I hope. We just had them come out again to take some things off, for a new roof, and then back on again. They were great and handled a couple of glitches well. Why the five stars? Service and commitment! I felt like I had an army of helpers every time there was an issue. Anyone can put an AC up but, finding a company that stands by its product like JT does, is five stars in my book.

Had my thermostat fixed 14 months ago and the tech said my ductwork needed to be cleaned and a UV light installed to prevent mold. I paid $1,100.00 for the service. Had them back in this week because our unit wasn't cooling and was told we needed a new unit and all new duck work due to mold? Talked to Jason (the Boss) and he was no help at all. I have had multiple issues with my business accounts they service too. Oh well. When they were a small company they were good, Bigger isn't better.
