Very very bad customer service skills!! An employee came to my house and was very arrogant, we didn't even go as far as to get an estimate! I just wanted him out of there !!! You're not the only one out there with an AC company buddy!!!

DO NOT hire this company or by an AC unit from them. Abysmal service and defective products. They sold us a bum unit, a new and very expensive AC unit their salesman recommend but subsequently had to come out for service calls several times a month because the unit kept shutting down for no discernible reason. The old unit we replaced never had this problem. After more than 8 service calls I asked the tech what was causing it because it didn't seem normal for a new unit to have this many frequent issues. After blaming me and my kids for leaving a door open and then raising his voice and swearing at me, I told him to leave my home. I then called and complained to the """"manager"""" Jason who put partial blame on me for upsetting his tech and then told me, """"Then just fire us lady!"""" (which he knew I couldn't or I'd have to pay another company thousands to service the defective unit THEY installed). I recorded the call to play for my husband. He was livid and called back but no one ever returned his call. And the wonderful Jason never offered any form of apology. A few months later, sure enough the entire coil failed on our new unit and had to be replaced. Shortly after, we sold that home and are finally rid of the cancer that is Jupiter Tequesta.

Let's see... When I called for an urgent repair, the technician said, """"...glad you called, your semi-annual visit under your Platinum Service Plan is way overdue."""" I asked why no one called me months ago to schedule it and the technician said, """"...we are a big company and things fall thru the cracks"""" When I asked for a 24-hour service repair required under my Platinum Service Plan, the agent suggested 4+ weeks out saying we are busy. I paid $60/month for no service! So I called a competitor on Friday night and they were at my home 1 pm on Saturday and fixed everything efficiently. I called Jupiter Tequesta today and withdrew as a customer and contacted my credit card company for many months of disputed monthly charges. I can say beware of Jupiter Tequesta...they do not honor their agreements and when you need them...they are not reliable.

If I could give 0 stars I would, they have gone completely downhill over the years. We used Jupiter Tequesta AC for servicing our AC unit, and they were great. So when it came time to buy a new AC, we chose them for purchasing the new unit. They had recently been acquired by FPL Home services. The unit they sold us was touted as one of the best and it came with a 10 year parts and labor warranty. It was not the cheapest and we paid extra to maintain a service contract with them as well. In less than one year the unit has stopped working 3 times. Each time, we are told it is a part of some loophole in the service contract or warranty and that we have to pay more to get it fixed or have someone come out for the repair. They sold us a lemon AC unit to keep making money nickle and diming for every repair. Do not recommend, would go elsewhere.

We purchased a brand new York 15.25 SEER 5 Ton air-conditioning outdoor and indoor system on January 27, 2020. After less than 5 months the thing failed. We called today June 23, 2020 to explain to a representative named Rosa that we had no a/c. First when we called Rosa was speaking personal family business and failed to notice we were on the line. Finally we got her attention. We explained the situation but she showed very little concern for our family living in a hot house about 99 degrees. She didn't seem to give a dam when we explained that our daughter had serious continually seizures and living in hot house could be detrimental to her health. We asked to speak to someone above her but she wouldn't give us the time of day. The best Rosa could do was schedule a technician for Thursday at 8 am. That means Tuesday and Wednesday night no a/c, no sleep. What kind of an inferior York a/c system did we buy that it failed in less than 5 months. My advise is don't spend $7,000 with Jupiter-Tequesta A/C company. The units they sell are inferior and their customer service stinks. Hope we can live 2 nights without air. You would think considering the a/c is less than 5 months old it wouldn't fail and the company would send a technician out immediately not 2 days later. My advise stay far away from Jupiter-Tequesta A/C, Plumbing & Electric.

Prey on the elderly!! Overcharged my wife's elderly grandparents that have dementia. When I asked for an itemized receipt they came up with excuses. We've used this company personally as well many times and referred them to friends but unfortunately will need to find another company to give my business.

kevin bell came out to service my 3 year old ac. it flooded after he left. called company left many messages for manager to call back, it took 5 days for ops manager (roberto) to call back.this is an fpl company, should be ashamed. stay far away from this company. 2 more people came out after the first technician.

3 weeks ago I had my 6 month scheduled maintenance on an air conditioner I purchased from them 14 months ago. Supposedly all was well and everything was running as it should according to the technician. 3 weeks lates my 14 month old unit now has a hole in the outside condenser unit. Really? A unit that is barely past a year old that has been cooling fine all of a sudden now has an issue. Funny how this happened just 3 weeks after someone was here working on my unit. Not that it was bad enough with that but now they want to charge me a """"warranty processing fee"""" of $249. What kind of scam is this? This fee covers picking up and delivery of my replacement part and then sending back the defective part to the manufacturer..... Really...That's your job. I have a 12 year parts and labor warranty and when the salesman was sitting in my dining room clearly stated that there were NO other fees other than the $39 evaluation fee. I was intentionally lied to and I want to warn others of their practices. I will be contacting the BBB and poring this to the 40 plus surrounding neighborhoods in my Neighborhood app. I could go on with a couple of other issues with them but I think this will give potential customers a look at the way I was scammed with lies and false promises. Update The work was finally completed yet for some reason they had to go to a parts store to get a part they didn't have. They knew whet they were fixing yet they didn't have the right part. ALSO, that fee they want to charge of $249 was supposed to be in part so they can return the item to the manufacturer....... funny how when the job was completed they just left and didn't take the defective part on the side of my house. I found out the next day when I went to turn on the pool filter. See photos of what was left.

4 days ago I had Brian come out to give me a quote on my line set repair. He said his manager wants to see the job and would be out today. They both arrived and after viewing the work the manager decided to decline the business. This was surprising to me because they came recommended from my condo maintenance man and have done similar work in my complex before. What is my lesson to be learned? Dont call Jupiter Tequesta air for repair work. If they dont have confidence in their specialty of AC work, neither should you.

I do not recommend this company at all. My husband and I recently moved into our new home and had requested for the waters to be tested since it was blue to now dark blue water. Our concern was that our baby was bathing in this water and we wanted to know if the water was harmful. Alex, the Tech came out and ran the test and recommended that we put in the Halo system ($4K) so we could have good water. A week later we still have not rep'd our results. But we did get the water filter halo quote the next day. I called the office and spoke to the Rep and asked to speak to Alex's supervise in which the Rep told me Craig is not available and is not even in the system to receive calls. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
