FPL Plumbing Experts delivers qualified and bonded experts who can set up, fix and manage AC systems, waterworks and wiring systems. They also offer protection plans for each trade.
Started in the early 80s as Jupiter-Tequesta, but now operating as FPL Home Services. Every job is backed to comply with applicable safety and local codes. Their service area includes Lee, Sarasota County, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade, serving a collective 70,000 customers. The company is fully approved, secured and insured. Our licenses CFC1430331, CAC 1820030 and EC13007891.

I had an similar experience to the revieweR Paula...i was having the ac checked for the upcoming season. The unit was instaleed by jupiter ac and regularly serviced and maintained by them. The warranty coincidently expired 3 weeks before their inspection. I was advised the heat exchanger was not operating properly and the compressor was on its last legs and would not last when the temps heat up. The tech came back with sales figures for new units. This did not sit well as the unit seemed to be fine and just out of warranty. I called an ac contractor that was advised in the newspapers and he went through the ac unit and advised all was working fine. No problems or repairs needed. I contacted jupiter ac and advised them of same and this is out and out fraud and will no longer use or recommend their services

Very good service. I subscribe to a maintenance plan with Jupiter-Tequesta and I am very satisfied. On my last visit (I get two per year under my plan) the Specialist, Gary Burns, did an excellent job by recommending.the optimal type of filters, showning me some simple procedures for keeping my unit in good shape,and suggesting some useful and resonably priced services as preventative measures for other areasof my home (plumbing). The Specialist, as well as the Customer Service group was helpful, professional, and thorough. Thanks!

Not even a full year and the motor they put on the blower has failed! The service man they sent out, Rob, was knowledgeable and respectful. So we shall swelter for days, last time it took 10, while they spin around in their coordinated incompetence.

In December 2015 my wife and I decided to replace our air conditioning unit. Having seen Jupiter Tequesta A/c in our community we decided that we would give the business to them, even though they were more expensive than other companies by approximately 15%. When the salesman came out, he sold us a Carrier system. It was supposed to be the best system they install. We agreed to pay $7200 for the system to cool a 2400 square-foot, under A/C, home. Fast forward 24 months later, we noticed that the outside unit was turning on and off rapidly, only running for about 15 to 20 seconds each time before shutting off. It has gradually over the past year gotten louder and louder. We decided to contact Jupiter Tequesta A/C to come out and diagnose the problem. As is always the case, a very nice gentleman came to service our system. The price for the diagnosis was $89, that was charged no matter what. He found that based upon his pressure gauge, there is a leak that developed in this two-year-old system. He stated that the system is under warranty, but the labor is not. I instructed him to go ahead and assess the cost of these repairs and was extremely surprised! The diagnosis for doing a leak test was $500! In addition to the leak test it would be approximately $800 to perform the switch out of whichever component has the leak in it, the inside or the outside portions of the unit. Therefore the charge would be around $1300! Having excellent marketing skills, they offered membership to their exclusive club, you pay $159 for the membership, receive 15% off of the bill. Aggravated with this type of """"We've got the best, you have a warranty, but we don't back our product that """"we"""" recommended,"""" type of marketing, I decided to contact their office to speak to management. Their slogan is 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Ironically, no one can call me back till Monday. So therefore, the moral of the story is the best marketing, does not make for the best company. I have not received the final solution to these issues as of this time, but I would definitely caution this type of bait and pay later business practice! Meanwhile, we will be with no air-conditioning until Monday.

There is nothing more dreadful than your AC system breaking down on a Sunday night. We tried from 9:30 pm until 2:00 am to get it running but to no avail. I've used Jupiter-Tequesta Air before so went to look up their number so as to call them first thing in the morning. But, wait! I see that they're open 24/7! So I call expecting an answering service, but instead, I get Aaron, and he's empathetic and amazing and sets me up for an early morning appointment. Promptly I get a call around 8:10 this morning from Gary, telling me help is on the way. He's smart, courteous and gave me the bad news that our system was pretty much dead. UGH! There goes the house painting and pool re-surfacing projects. Gary asks me some more questions and finds the suitable system with 0% financing for 60 months! He made the whole process easy, he diffused my stress and came up with a solution that worked for us. Gary B. Is a rock star! It takes knowledge and great interpersonal skills to turn a nightmare situation into a pleasant one. Thank you Jupiter-Tequesta Air for the amazing service. No-one likes bad surprises, but it's nice to know there is a company out there who understands that and I just used Jupiter Tequesta again for a nasty water pipe break in a really tough spot. James was so incredibly polite, professional and worked increasingly hard to fix the pipe. The break was in a very difficult position to get to since it was in between the upstairs and downstairs and in a closet. This didn't stop James- he worked tirelessly until it was patched. James saved the day!

I agree with the other negative reviews here. They came for a routine maintenance visit, told me I needed a very expensive change to our system. Because we are new to the house and the area, we did it. I didn't have a lot of confidence in them and I changed service companies 6 months later. They told me the repair that was done wasn't necessary and only made it easier for JT to service the house - a $4000 waste. Avoid.

I called Jupiter Tequesta at 10:05 pm because our AC was not working. They answer the phone """"How can I make your day better?"""" They immediately dispatched a repairman. He was courteous and went right to work. He arrived at 10:45 pm and we had cool air again at 12:02 am. ! One of the best service providers I have ever worked with!

We purchased a brand new York 15.25 SEER 5 Ton air-conditioning outdoor and indoor system on January 27, 2020. After less than 5 months the thing failed. We called today June 23, 2020 to explain to a representative named Rosa that we had no a/c. First when we called Rosa was speaking personal family business and failed to notice we were on the line. Finally we got her attention. We explained the situation but she showed very little concern for our family living in a hot house about 99 degrees. She didn't seem to give a dam when we explained that our daughter had serious continually seizures and living in hot house could be detrimental to her health. We asked to speak to someone above her but she wouldn't give us the time of day. The best Rosa could do was schedule a technician for Thursday at 8 am. That means Tuesday and Wednesday night no a/c, no sleep. What kind of an inferior York a/c system did we buy that it failed in less than 5 months. My advise is don't spend $7,000 with Jupiter-Tequesta A/C company. The units they sell are inferior and their customer service stinks. Hope we can live 2 nights without air. You would think considering the a/c is less than 5 months old it wouldn't fail and the company would send a technician out immediately not 2 days later. My advise stay far away from Jupiter-Tequesta A/C, Plumbing & Electric.

They showed up right away when everyone else could not. They have an old fashioned service style. Everyone there is great.

AC unit was not working properly, called and two days later prior to them responding it was working. They charged 90 dollars to tell me """"it is working"""" and """"needs to be replaced"""". Quoted 5800.00. Unit goes out again and once again they charge 90 dollars, don't do a thing, tell me to replace it and leave. Called a family friend Nelson, he came out, advised my unit has several more years to go. Cleaned coils and added freon. Now all is back to normal. AVOID this company, new ownership not interested in helping, just looking to sell expensive AC units.
