We worked with Jason to fix the drywall in our ceiling after a leak. He came out with a foreman to inspect and give an estimate. During the job, the foreman came out with two other guys who did the actual work.

Considering all the people involved, FM may be more than the just-a-guy-with-a-ladder handyman (I can't say for sure since I didn't actually get another quote). But ultimately, I'm glad we went with them. They arrived on time, finished on time, and did an excellent job. I can't even tell where the old drywall ends and the new starts. Most importantly, they went to great lengths to protect my home and leave it clean. They created a plastic bubble for their work. When they left there was no dust or anything any where. Considering, we have small children this was very important.

I'd easily use them again.

Charles is THE man! I am extremely picky about things, and expect them to be done right the first time. Charles not only meets, but exceeds my overly high expectations in all phases, so much so that I allow him free reign to my place, but I often am here, as I like watching his approach! From prep, where he ensures all is covered/secure as not to make a mess, to being thorough in his abilities with all of the necessary tools, and taking his time to ensure that he is doing the right thing, and even leaving the place better than he found it. Simply put, there is NO DOUBT, he is your guy. Seriously, look no farther. I actually thought about being selfish, and not sharing, but, after all, sharing is indeed caring!

first of all...he responded within a day of the request. Was there when he said he would be. Fine job! He thinks of the little things most people blow off these days...including clean up.

This was a simple hand rail installation. He did no fuss, no muss. And he charged less than originally quoted.

I'm going to have him tile my kitchen next.....

I was working on a property in manhattan beach pressure washing my clients sun deck. the deck was rugged and i knew it needed repair, i just didn't know i was going to need it during the work i was doing. i yelped a few people in the area and no one was willing to come out immediately. i spoke to Jason and told him my situation. luckily he was available and came out. With so many question marks then why 5 stars?

I needed a small repair done in my shower/tub. I had already gotten an estimate from someone else who had admitted the shower wasn't built in the best manner and that his repair would be more like a bandaid. I then went to Yelp and found FM Maintenance. Minutes after leaving a message, Jason called me back. He was friendly, helpful and descriptive. Even though it was a smaller job he seemed eager to help. However when more information came about the project, he realized the shower probably wasn't built to code and the repair I was asking for would be out of compliance and wouldn't be the best way to fix the issue, so he politely declined the job with his reasoning. For declining to do the wrong thing, FM Maintenance has earned 5 stars. It seems FM Maintenance wants to be proud of each job they attach their name to and they only do what is right, even if it costs them an easy job and easy money.

I'm in the process of looking for a house to buy and I can assure you, when I need any repairs or upgrades, FM Maintenance will be my first call.

Jason and Charles have done a terrific job for us at two different properties. We found them through a property management company for a house we were getting ready to rent out. It was an old house with a LOT of maintenance issues and they did a great job coming through and making all kinds of repairs to walls (painting, too), doors, electrical, etc. They were quick, thorough, and did a great job. They then helped us get things ready at our new house with a variety of repairs, installing lights and cabinets, fixing broken doors, installing hardware, etc. Again, I was very pleased with how quickly they worked and the quality of their work. We have used many different handyman services over the years, and they are by far the best. They are very knowledgeable, reliable, skillful, professional, and fairly priced. I highly recommend them.

Jason and his team are the best handyman service we have ever had. Consistently reliable, responsive, and conscientious. Jason doubles as a contractor so he can find great people for whatever work we need done on our house and he monitors their work as if it was his own.
