I am so disappointed in Fox Plumbing. The service guys have always been helpful and friendly, but I'm extremely dissatisfied with their services and won't be using them anymore.
I have spent $8K+ over the last couple of years to fix two problems - a malfunctioning water heater and a leak in my kitchen ceiling. Both times they misdiagnosed the problem, which meant I had to pay for BOTH repairs twice (I was a couple months over their 1 year guarantee each time). I ended up paying more to repair the hot water heater than I would have to just replace it. When I talked to the service manager to explain how unreasonable it is to pay for work twice because of the technician's error, he was condescending and difficult.
Six months later, and my hot water heater is still malfunctioning. I have never written a bad review before, but I think that other consumers should be aware. Find a plumbing company that is reputable and reasonably priced - you'll save yourself the hassle.

We could not have been more pleased with Fox. When our furnace went out, I called Fox. Ron from their sales department came out to our house very promptly. He was super friendly and very professional. He made his recommendations and scheduled the furnace install quickly, which was great since we had no heat. The install team was very experienced and again, very professional. We were thrilled with the entire experience with Fox. Would highly recommend!

I have been a customer now for a little more then a year and have had these guys out to my house for a water heater flood issue and leaking pipe inside my bathroom wall. They also serviced and fixed a few broken parts in my Amana Furnace and had the replacement parts in their service vehicle so I didn't have to have them come back out and had heat the same day I called them. Top notch customer service and even did an after hours and Sunday service call. I can't recommend them any better. Daniel from Fox is the rock star for furnace related issues.

One of the first time i wish i can say zero star. Plumbing guy is decent, but this is by far one of the most expensive plumbing companies. I had a small job, a couple of hours later $1000 bill. After seeing pictures of the hydroplane, i now know why.

I have had to use Fox Plumbing twice over the last month. Once to replace a sink disposal and the other to replace a toilet. Excellent service.

It is with some sadness that I write this review. The only reason Fox Plumbing even gets one star is for it's great service guys. They were so helpful and polite. I don't remember the first guys name, he had his arm in a sling, but he was very gracious and helpful. Problem number one: He was not a sewer guy, he was a plumbing guy. I had explained the whole problem I was having to the girl on the phone and she still sent the wrong guy. With his arm in a sling he was unable to go into the crawl space to look at the piping. Hence the two visits for one problem. Conrad was one of the most professional person I have seen in a long time. He did everything he could to try and come up with a good solution to my problem

The admin staff I spoke with, not so much. When I went to set up my appointment to get it fixed: first call, scheduled an appointment for Aug. 4th. Second call, different person, called me and scheduled me for ""the next day between 1-4 pm."" Didn't seem to have a clue that I already had an appointment. Since it was an earlier time and I wanted to get this done, I took the next day appointment. Well to my surprise the gentleman showed up about 2 hours early. Nice but interfered with some plans that I had to hurry up and cancel. (The very first guy also came about an hour early too.) While I understand that complaining about being early sounds dumb, it caused me to have to make last minute changes. There was no phone call saying ""hey I can be there early"".

This appointment was on a Friday. After getting all the information and doing all the looking around, Conrad said, ""When I get back to the office I will write up the estimate and email it to you. If you are okay with it, we can keep the Aug 4th appointment."" I checked my email numerous times on Friday and all through the weekend. No email from Fox. I called Monday morning about 9:00 am, after checking email one more time, and the lady said, ""no we have nothing from anybody about an estimate. I will give Conrad a call and get back with you."" Guess what? NO CALL BACK.

Their claim to fame is trenchless repair. What they don't tell you is that is not always the case. They wanted to jack hammer a hole in my sunroom and shoot some kind of liner through the pipe. Not sure why they couldn't dig out from the other side and do it, but I am not the expert. But a jackhammer in a room full of glass? Really?

It is now Wednesday, 8 days later and nothing. Maybe I am to old fashion but, I am the customer, I don't need to chase you to give you my money. I have made other arrangements with another company, who will be doing the job without destroying my property.

I paid $229.00 to get a few photos of my crawl space and was advised that they may be too busy to come back to help me resolve it asap. I had a leak in my crawl space and there was some sewage under the house. 4 star for communication but 1 star for lack of urgency. Very disappointed. I've been referred to a new plumping company. Basically, I paid over two hundred dollars to get a few photos and was told they couldn't help me right away. Will not be calling Fox again.

I had a good experience with this company when I asked them to extend an existing gas line for a new range. After getting an insane estimate (over $6000) from a different company, Fox provided a reasonable price (basically, I just take the estimate, subtract the parts, and divide the rest by the number of man-hours they estimate work will take. If they're working for more than $100 an hour, something is off.) But that was a few years ago. I asked them to replace a broken undermount sink. Granted, replacing an undermount sink is a total pain, and sometimes it's just cheaper to replace the whole countertop (it was a 36"" x 22"" vanity top). These things run around $200 at Home Depot. Anyway, they weren't able to find a sink that was the exact same size, so he instead said he'd replace it with one about an inch bigger. Little hole, big sink. And he wanted over 1000 for it. $60 sink. I doubt it would take more than two hours to replace. I replied to his mail that I'm not interested in paying that much for such a cheap fix, and never got a reply, even two weeks later.
Breakdown:
Initial fix done by caulking the cracks = good.
Unable to find existing sized sink = not their fault, IMO.
Variety of solutions offered = -1 star
Estimated cost = -1 star. Scam alert triggered.
Communication = -1 star. Why go silent when I call them out on the price? I pointed out the cost of the sink, the time it would take to replace, the fact that it isn't even the right size, but also asked how much I owe for him to come out and caulk the cracks. No response. Seems like Fox Plumbing doesn't have any kind of accountability with the contractors they employ, so use at your own risk, and verify the estimates you get. If you're unfamiliar with how much plumbing should cost, educate yourself before calling a plumber.

Update: 7/25: I got an invoice for $109 and change. For caulking a cracked sink. They couldn't fix the problem at a reasonable price, so I'm stuck with an insanely disproportionate bill for the work done. In fact, the busted up caulked sink is still sitting in my shop. Honestly, there's really no plumber I trust anymore.

The BEST Plumbing Business that you can use. I had kitchen sink that had standing water that wouldn't drain. Conrad and Eric was sent to work on the job, and fixed the problem with my sink. And also gave me an estimate on another job that I will be needing to have done in the next couple of months.
I would recommend Fox's Plumbing for your needs.

Good service--they came promptly, cleared two drains that were clogged in the wall. Very courteous guy, kept me informed and gave me a choice of parts. Could have cleaned up better at end, but it only took me a minute to do after he left. This is the second time we've used them. Maybe a bit pricey? but would use them again.
