We hired Fox because the price was reasonable. James was on time and did everything as we mentioned. He is professional and efficient. We highly recommend Fox Plumbing.

I highly recommend Fox Plumbing. 2 of our toilets clogged up, and I searched high and low on yelp to find a plumber. Given all the disparate reviews on yelp about plumbers in general, I was hesitant to start calling because I wanted to not waste people's time to give free estimates. I looked on nextdoor and narrowed down the list, and looked up the plumbers on yelp. I called up James, and he gave a rough estimate over the phone based on my description (either a fee per toilet if it was a toilet issue, or a fee for the drain if it was a drain issue). Both fees were reasonable. He then came out the same day to give a free estimate, and I accepted. He quickly went to work and fixed the clog issue. Highly recommend.

Check out few things, nothing wrong and he refused to charge us! Most contractors will have minimum charge regardless.

He is on time, competent and direct. Hard to find such service professional anymore in the bay area.

James Fox did a great job and clearly demonstrated that he knows his work and cares about doing a good job! Two other companies had come out and said it would be necessary to cut the pipes to move our pedestal sink in order to get at a clog in our very old pipes, which would then have to be replaced; neither even suggested that there might be another solution. James wanted to avoid cutting the pipe, and suggested that he could snake out the drain through the roof vent. His solution worked great, and saved us hundreds of dollars and a lot of mess. We really appreciated his thoughtful approach. He will be our go-to plumber for any future work.

On the day of the installation, he met me at Home Depot and took the toilets to my place. He did a very thorough job installing and cleaning up after; he even wore the blue booties during the installation! I would hire him again for other plumbing jobs.

Just as I expected from the other reviewers. Super honest. James came on time and warned me not know how long a storm drain may take to unclog and hence exact estimate but told me how the fee was structured and was able to unclog fast. He even helped me find a way so not clog often. I would use his services again without a doubt.
