James Fox deserves every 5-star review that he has received. I am going to add my own review here, and will happily recommend Fox Plumbing to family and friends. James responded to my initial inquiry in a timely manner, and explained what he would do to resolve the issue. He was also upfront about pricing, and his rates are fair and reasonable. James arrived early to our home, and immediately got to work clearing a clog in the bathtub--which was caused by a different plumber's rushed efforts to clear a clogged kitchen sink just a few days earlier. James did not rush, but instead he carefully worked to completely clear the clog from the plumbing, so that water drained properly throughout the system. James kept the work area neat and tidy, and cleaned the area when his work was finished. I just wish I had called Fox Plumbing first! Going forward, James will certainly be our go-to plumber from now on.

He's done at least four or five projects for us, pointed out a couple of issues we would have in the future (which did end up happening), and when the water heater burst, he came the next day to replace it. He even tightened the loose front door handle. What a mensch!

This is a review about the great, 5 star service I got from James at Fox Plumbing, but I have to write about the ZERO star service from Wizard Plumbing first: I contacted Wizard Plumbing for a clogged drain. I've had it happen before (about 8 years ago) and in fact added an easy access pipe to make it easier to snake in the future. Wizard came out and spent an hour and a half crawling under my house and trying to snake the pipe. At the end I paid them $600 for failing to snake the drain and they offered me a quote for almost $10,000 to repipe 40 feet of pipe under my house.

I called James at Fox, told him the whole story he came over within 1/2 an hour and had it snaked and working in about 15 minutes. He charged me $260 and offers a 6 month guarantee. I put him in my contacts as: ""Great plumber - CALL FIRST"" Thank you James.

My original review was 8 years ago, and I have continued to have Jamie do all of our plumbing work since then. Efficient, capable, communicates well, on-time, and very nice to work with. I continue to highly recommend him to anyone!

He fixed a clog in less than 20 minutes that a previous team of THREE plumbers could not fix!! He just knew exactly what to do and bam, got the clog out. If you're curious it was for a complicated double sink setup where it was extra challenging to get the snake down the right pipe. But not for James! Really nice guy too, and gave us great tips on how to prevent future clogs. Highly recommended!

5* for his responses; I left a message & James called me back in few mins. He could come over to do a free estimate which is great. He showed up within 30mins. He checked the clean outs & said a clean up should be fine! his quote was fair but he doesn't do inspection, so we needed to pass on him cuz we wanted to do a inspection as well to check the condition of the pipes.

Highest recommendation for James at Fox Plumbing! Excellent work, knowledgeable, creative problem solving, and willing to go the extra yard. Since he is a sole proprietor, he was more flexible in dealing with unexpected complications than others we contacted for estimates. He came out to help with a drain line that we needed snaked, but then we encountered a secondary problem that made it much more complicated, partly because of the difficulty accessing the drain line. He had a great can-do attitude and stayed to resolve the bigger issue, and ended up charging a very reasonable total. I will definitely look up Fox Plumbing next time we need help!
