We were leaving to go out of the country, and the sink backed up. I called Jake the Snake and he came within 40 minutes on a Saturday night! He was very professional and fixed the sink quickly. He said that one of the pipes under the sink was the wrong pipe. He fixed it and we have not had a problem. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs. Also, his prices are very reasonable. I have only dealt with this company once, and I will again. I have lived in my house 10 years and this is the first plumber to clean out my main line without pulling the toilet in my basement (saving me a toilet pull charge). I have heard many sales pitches from other plumbers with different companies, this one came to do what was needed on my end, not theirs. Plus the guy from ROTO.... services left such a mess last time it took me 1 day to clean up after him, this guy (ED) was friendly, helpful, and neat.

Great experience with Ken a.k.a ""Jake the Snake"". I had problems with my washing machine drain backing up, and had been told by another service person after snaking the washer drain that I probably needed my main line snaked even though I had no other issues. Ed arrived within 2 hours of my call (right on time) and quickly diagnosed the problem. Within 40 minutes he had snaked my kitchen sink drain, fixed the problem, and saved me about $150 additional I would have spent snaking the main line. Very professional, friendly, and willing to answer any and all questions. I highly recommend them, and I am a very picky customer!

Similar experience to the last reviewer. Needed our pipes unclogged, got jake the snake by word of mouth. He came within an hour at 5:45 and stayed until 8:45. Didn't charge extra for late night, very professional, answered our 10 million questions, and showed us a video/burned a DVD for free. He even problem solved simple things we could do at home to prevent this from happening again. Would definitely use him again, but now I don't think we need to!

I called them to snake our sewer from the house to the main line in the street. We have old clay pipes and a big tree....so, roots are a problem for us. I had been told by another company that our line was in bad shape and that we would need a new one VERY soon. (That was 4 years ago). So I've been losing sleep over it ever since.....waiting for the poop to fall, so to speak!!

So when Ken drove up, right on time and in a nice looking truck, I was worrying that the very act of augering the line would cause a big problem for us. I begged him to be gentle to my 60 year old clay pipe.

Well, he got the roots out quickly and without even complaining about my mean old rose-bushes that surround the clean-out. But here's the sweet part: he heard my concern and worry about the condition of our line, so he got out his camera and scoped the line to the main for me, letting me see what was REALLY going on down there, explaining it to me as we went.

And I DO NOT NEED A NEW SEWER LINE!!! IT""S FINE!!!

And then he took his flash drive and burned me a DVD of the video to keep for my records!!!

I know that many companies will charge extra to video your line. Ken did it to ease my mind and make sure that he had done the job right. He cost less than the last company and gave me a 90 day warranty. If you need sewer cleaning or diagnostics, this is the company.
