I called them for an estimate for a mini split at my cabin which is 3 hrs from my home but about 20 to 30 minutes from their office. We talked on the phone and I told him that I would be there for the weekend. He told me he would be in his garden all day on Saturday and to just call him in the afternoon when we got back from our tubing trip. So I called him at 3:00 when we were heading back and got no answer on either line. I left messages and never got any response. I am a Class A contractor and I will now bring my own guys up there to do the small job but I would have liked to use a local guy. And I really don't appreciate him wasting my time. I would think that a guy with his own business would know the importance of returning phone calls, Piss Poor way to do business.

We had Fowler HVAC install our central AC 7+ years ago and we haven't had any issues with it until last week. Suddenly the compressor wouldn't kick on and we spent a very hot weekend without AC. I called Fowler first thing Monday morning and they returned my call quickly and worked me into their schedule the same day. They arrived earlier than anticipated and resolved the issue quickly, and much to my relief very affordably. They told me I should have called over the weekend and they would have come out to take care of it; now I know! While they were here I mentioned an issue with our hot water heater and they discovered that it was not reparable, but returned within a few hours to replace it for us. Fowler HVAC has always been very polite and courteous to us and response times are very quick and they provide an honest product for a fair price. If you'd rather pay for a fancy fleet of trucks and celebrity commercials, then go ahead, but if you want a local company that can do the job, then you can count on Flower HVAC.

called a local company to repair a faulty outdoor unit. When the techs arrived one was quite unprofessional and was cussing when he first looked at the unit while the owners were in hearing distance. couldn't get it fired up for 20 min until I found the valve at the tank was closed. Still didn't fire up after working on it for 30 min. They ended up ordering a part to place in this very rusted outside unit. The new part didn't work and the owner wasn't given his money back. Ended up the gas company inspected the unit and condemned the unit. Went to Fowler and the tech said he thought that was going to be condemned. Ended up replacing the guts of the system and the original tech couldn't get it running (after 3 visits obviously no training on this type of system and didn't do the proper thing to bring someone out that knew the system). Ended up the owner had to come out to get running. In the mean time paid the gas company charged hundred dollars to un condemn the unit and no, Fowler never reimbursed me that money. Was kind of concerned when they showed up in a beat up, unmarked van thinking this a fly by night operation. The lack of knowledge and professionalism can be spread quickly in this small community
