Eric at Four Seasons provided excellent service, showed up in a beautiful truck, was friendly and did the job well. When I called dispatch to setup my appointment, they were courteous and had availability whenever I needed. So why the 1 star? My god the price, the cover up, ridiculous trip charge.

I asked the lady who answered the phone, what do you charge for a toilet install? She said, oh well it's different case by case. This was a lie. The truth was, she didn't want me to hang up on her when she gave me the price. Eric showed me his flat rate sheet - it was $520. Five hundred and Twenty dollars... to do a simple toilet replace, nothing fancy. If I hadn't needed it desperately done for family coming in town for the holidays, I would have told him to go home.

Also as someone else mentioned, there's a non refundable $29 trip charge - so even though I was lied to about the price not being set in stone over the phone, if I would have told Eric the flat rate price they did have was indeed too high, I would have still been charged $29, just for being lied to by his office. Guess what - that $29 also doesn't apply to your final ridiculous bill. So after being charged double what I should have for a toilet instal, I also got hit with the $29 trip charge on top of that, not to mention I live 3.8 miles from their office.

A toilet install should be $200-300. I've flipped a few houses in LA before I moved to Asheville. We had a couple wonderful plumbers. They could knock it out in an hour tops and it was usually in the low 200's. $521 is highway robbery and the bait and switch - its case by case to then hearing there's a flat rate - is almost criminal. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

Too expensive and shoddy work especially for the price. To anyone looking for a plumbing service I suggest asking peers and relatives for someone with more experience and one that doesn't use desperation to price gouge its customers. Herein is my experience:

The service ""tech"" seemed inexperienced and had to call someone else several times to locate an expansion tank that I very clearly explained the location of. The ""problem"" they found was going to be billed in the multiple thousands of dollars if we ended up using them. I called another plumber to investigate and explain the issue. Upon hiring the other plumber (which ended up being 84% less costly) I found that the problem was a different issue that I fear Four Seasons would have been persuaded to bill me for the full amount regardless of what issue presented itself. There is no positive outcome I can think of this situation other than I now know to stay away from this company.

From the moment Rachael answers the phone, you know there's something special here! Clear idea of the cost over the phone; depending on the urgency a prompt appointment set; clear about getting a call 15 or so minutes before they arrive; and what to expect from the vehicle, uniform and name of the technician who will be coming! And then Damion arrived here in Black Mtn. for the gas leak we had in the basement. Besides knowing what to do, he is a very interesting person as well. He's very personable, fun, has a nice smile and laugh. Did the leak get fixed? Yep! Had to replace a long piece of flex pipe. And we were charged the quoted price. Highly recommend Four Seasons!

A service provider that provides an outstanding level of service combined with a thorough level of technical expertise is a rarity. It has been our experience that Four Seasons Plumbing is just that type of provider.

As part of a toilet servicing call performed by plumber Matthew W. of 4 Seasons Plumbing, we asked him to evaluate our water heater. While there were no immediate issues, as the water heater was nearing the end of its stated useful life we asked him what Four Seasons Plumbing could offer as a replacement.

We certainly were pleased to learn that we could purchase a replacement water heater that conformed to the new U.S. Department Of Energy Regulations, that the replacement was comprehensive as it incorporated related valves and fittings and that it carried with it an extended term parts AND labor warranty along with annual servicing by Four Seasons Plumbing for the life of the warranty.

From the outset of our contact with Matthew W., we were impressed by his professionalism, thoroughness and evident expertise. Accordingly, we knew that we were receiving a premier level of outstanding service as a result of his efforts. Accordingly, we chose to purchase a replacement water heater from Four Seasons Plumbing and to request that he be the plumber assigned to perform the work.

We are currently evaluating options for the replacement of the toilets in our home. Given the expert service received from Matthew W., we immediately looked to the product and installation options from Four Seasons Plumbing.

Ryan and joe came out and help with my water heater. Fantastic guys. Super helpful, down to earth, and willing to help. Once ryan was on the water heater I asked joe to take a look at my sink upstairs. His advice and help with the disposal on the kitchen sink was fantastic. Everything's working great and I'm so happy to have had a chat with him. It's unbelievable to find great people especially when you need help the most.

Nice, prompt, but pricey. Charged $600 to replace two toilets, and I supplied the replacement toilets. $600 was all labor charges.

Update: Max from Four Seasons contacted us after he reviewed our invoice. He said that the pricing on the invoice was in line with their standard price for the labor to do a toilet replacement, but he was concerned that we had a bad experience with his company. He gave us a free year of Four Seasons customer loyalty plan, and reimbursed us for a small portion of the charge. Raising my review to 3 stars.

We were truly impressed with Four Seasons. Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He did a great job and we thought the price was very reasonable. Any plumbing needs we have, we will definitely call Jeff and Four Seasons Plumbing.

This is one of the best companies I've ever worked with. I don't write reviews often, but I've had an opportunity to work with these folks on three different occasions when there were plumbing issues at my home, and each time I was wowed.

The reason for my most recent call was that our water pressure had decreased drastically, seemingly overnight. I checked the water pressure gauge and it looked good, so I assumed the well pump was malfunctioning and would need to be replaced. Ryan from Four Seasons Plumbing gave me a call on his way over, and had me check a few things on my end. After finding sediment buildup in the toilet tank (at his direction on the phone) he determined that the water filter had likely ruptured. I was able to change the filter myself, and voila! water pressure returned to normal. I let Ryan know what happened, and he said ""I would much rather we find a solution like this, rather than me coming out and having to charge $125 to change the filter."" In other words, he helped me to identify and fix the problem over the phone, and charged me nothing, zero.

Needless to say, this is a stand-up company, they do great work, and if you're calling another plumber in Asheville, you're nuts.

I can't say enough great things about this company. Rachel and her team are helpful, thorough, and really go the extra mile with their customer service, no matter what time of day or night you call. We found them via web search and couldn't have been luckier. They really know their stuff and are honest, professional, and amazingly friendly.
