We were looking for a company to service / potentially replace our boiler, which is about to clunk out on us. We called and they explained they weren't taking new customers. Okay, fine. But then when we asked for a recommendation of someone who could help us, they told us they ""don't do that."" In a tiny town. In a rural area. Thanks alot.

We had Four Seasons convert our heating system from oil to gas with an entirely new furnace. The installation was quick and neat and we were pleased with the outcome UNTIL we noticed a staining ceiling in the room adjacent to the furnace. We had recently had the chimney and roof repaired so I assumed it was the roofer I should call. The roofer came immediately [he always does ETG Masonry, the absolute best]. The roofer/chimney person informed us that the roof vent from the furnace had been installed without any sealer at all; cut a hole in the roof, stick a pipe in it and walk away. I called 4 Seasons and Dennis came right out [we are about a mile from the office]. The roof was sealed and the ceiling was repaired and painted. It just should not have happened. We do have a service contract with provides for one cleaning per year, scheduled sort of at random. I chose to provide the filter when I learned that the 4Seasons price was about $150. I buy them on line for less than $30. The techs who service the furnace and prompt and polite. I've never had to use emergency service so I can't comment on that. The service contract price seems a little high to me, but I can't fix a furnace myself anymore. I had called several other companies when we were looking to convert and most didn't want to be bothered. Go Figure.

the worst company i have ever dealt with!!
outrageous markup on the parts!!!

charging for parts they did not even use!!!!
i had to call these people because my regular guy was out of town, and when i showed him the bill he said i was charged twice as much as any other place would have charged, and he couldnt believe the markup on the parts, up to 10x retail!!!!!
i dont ever write reviews but these people were soooo horrible that i had to!!!!

So, our updated review. This has been a difficult relationship from the beginning. However, it seems to be improving. I manage rental properties. I don't live in them, and it's quite a drive to get there. I also operate other businesses, and I will explain why this matters.
We initially paid another company to make a repair when a tenant had no heat or hot water. That company charged us over $600 to bleed air from heating lines. On Thanksgiving weekend, the same problem reoccurred. The first company would not answer the phone. I then called Four Seasons. They agreed to come out after hours, but only if we would meet the tech there to 1) Pay immediately and 2) Sign a service contract with them. Ok. I get that. So, we drove out, met the tech, waited around for the repair, which we were told was a maintenance issue. We paid just under $500 for this call. A week or so later, I had to return to the site. I noticed hot water pouring into the basement. I called Four Seasons. There was a problem with the unit they had just repaired. I was told that they were very busy, but would come out later that evening. The catch.....I had to wait there to pay them C.O.D. Wait. What? I thought that's why I signed a contract with you??? I was told that NOBODY gets billed. Everything is done C.O.D! A heated argument was had. The service manager at one point, told me that he would just refund $170 back to me, and to call someone else. I told him my situation, and how I couldn't just wait around all day at a House I don't live in. It's winter! I also told him to keep his damn $170 and just fix my heat. After some argument, he agreed to come out and to bill me.
The bill was paid as promised within a day. Fast forward 2 weeks. Another call for no heat or hot water. Same unit. I called Four Seasons and was told that I needed to be there to pay C.O.D! After I invented about 20 new cuss words, I was able to convince them to bill me. They went to the house, and advised me that I needed a new heat exchanger. They made a temporary fix, and ordered the part. When the part came in, they replaced it. 6 hours later, I get a call from tenant. No heat. No hot water. This time, Four Seasons went out to repair it. I recall it took 3 Trips, and I was told it was a maintenance issue. A dirty filter to be exact. Four Seasons then returned to do the maintenance. So far so good. However, today I got the bill. I was charged for the heat exchanger, which should be covered by warranty.
Summary:
Four Seasons is capable of being a 5 Star company. They NEED to work on their customer service. Not every call is a deadbeat. Some of us are respectable business owners, who appreciate lasting business relationships. They seem to be working on their issues, and I will continue to use them when needed, as long as they commit to improvement.

Update:
Just got another bill for $334 for overtime to address the maintenance issue (dirty filter).
