Not having hot water is a huge pain. You can't shower, you can't do dishes, you can't do laundry. So when Four Seasons said they could be out the next day, I was elated. I took off work, and got a text at 7:45 a.m. that they were on their way! Awesome! Then, three hours later, they still not had arrived. I got a call from the repairman that he was actually en route right before the end of the window of time I was given.

When he finally showed up, he took one look at our water heater and said, ""We don't repair that brand."" It's a Whirlpool -- a common household name for appliances, not some off-brand no one's heard of. He wouldn't even look at it.

So I took a day off work for a complete waste of time. If a company has a policy where they don't fix certain things, just mention that when someone calls for a repair! It's a simple process tweak to ask everyone what type of appliance they have -- before they are greatly inconvenienced, and there's nothing they can do. It's not like I got charged for anything, so I was helpless, except to warn others away. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews first. Four Seasons has an abysmally low score; I'll never use them again.

Do not do business with this place! They scam people for things that they do not need & they will purposely tamper with your furnace or air conditioning to make it seem like you need a new one. It has allready been confirmed that this is their practice, stay away from this place!

Not recommended. They over-diagnosed my heating problem and Recommended work not required, and significantly overcharged for work needed. I Halted work immediately and got a second opinion. Second opinion contractor fixed the problem - which was different than what the four seasons tech recommended-and was far less expensive. My opinion is that the service tech tried to maximize his services - which were overpriced to begin with. I question the ethics and integrity of this business approach.

Technician came out to one of my apartment buildings to diagnose why the thermostat was not registering the temperature that was programmed. He wasn't able to determine why this was happening so a supervisor came out and diagnosed the problem and got the program to work. They were there two hours at night with no extra charge for overtime! I was glad that they got it working so my tenants had enough heat. I've used them for years and are very impressed with their customer service.

Be very wary of Cracked Heat Exchanger scare tactic. I didn't do enough research , but wasn't prepared for their scare tactic.

Be prudent and Get 2nd quote or ask them for evidence.

Website states that if the heat issue is not fixed within 24 hours then you put us up in a hotel. I called this afternoon about no heat and no one is coming out until Monday and no offer of a hotel. Your representatives were totally clueless. 30 degrees outside, no heat, my 3 year old is freezing.

Update: We worked with Melissa in customer service to reach a solution.

I've used four seasons many times, their employees are nice they usually do good work. I had someone come out to repair a leak in our boiler.. cost over $300 was told it was working, when I went downstairs an hour later it was leaking again, when I call they don't rush anyone out to repair the unfixed issue they give me a 4 hour window between 6 and 10 pm to come back. Kind of unacceptable. After this I'll have to consider using other havac companies.

before the contractor got to my place the furnace worked fine, i just wanted to have basic service and maintenance done. the contractor was very late, i waited around all day for him, and when he got here, he spent 20 minutes with a shopvac and said it was in tip top shape and should be good for the winter. that night my furnace did not work, so i called them the next day to send someone out again to fix whatever the first guy did. the next guy they sent out told us we needed $2000 worth of work. he said the ignitor, heating element, and blower were all bad and needed replacement. when i confronted him about the fact that my furnace worked fine until their guy touched it, they told me that they only do a 30 point inspection and he couldn't of broke it. I then asked why the previous contractor didn't notice all these alleged things wrong with it, and the new guy proceeded to talk in circles, never acknowledging that they were trying take advantage of and scam me. So apparently the $89.99 service special (which they will try and charge you $140 until you call them out on it) gets you a light vacuuming and they look at from 30 yards away. How the hell is the ignitor, heating element, and blower not part of the ""30 point inspection"", isn't that basically all a furnace is? when i called customer service about this, it went to voicemail. they did call me back, but at 5:55 while i was in the shower and said they close at 6 (seems like they didn't want to talk to me). This is when I called a local guy, he was there when he said he would be and fixed what these idiots broke for $100. don't use the big guys, they have to pay for overhead and advertising, and that comes out of your pocket. if i could give them 0 stars i would.

1 star is actually too high for their service. Unfortunately the option for 0 stars is available.

In the past 2 years i had both an air conditioner and a furnace installed. But there service after that has been a complete joke.

They claim 24x7 service that is a lie -- we have been told by several customer service reps that only means you can make an appointment 24 x 7. Not that you will see a tech in an emergency.

Don't expect anything to be fixed the first time. Also don't assume they did everything they said they did and charged you for. We had one set of techs claim they replaced the wire from the thermostat to the furnace. When we had the same problem a week later -- the new tech found they did not replace the wire but spliced a new piece in. Since they charged for a wire replacement -- I was expecting they were replacing the wire.

Don't expect them to honor there time commitments - today we were told anytime between 9am and midnight -- at 11.45pm we were told they could be there at 1.00am. I said reschedule me for the next day instead. No cannot do they are booked up. Customer service will just give you the company line -- we are experiencing heavy call volume.

Don't expect their annual service means you will be problem free. Last month they came to check out the heater (less than a year old) and change the humidifier pad. Now the humidifier is leaking as the pad is clogged. Did they actually change the pad.

They will try to sell you their priority club $25 -- sounds great. You get discounted service - and priority service. NO YOU DON'T. Their customer service cannot even tell you what you get. Some don't even know about the club.

We first used 4 Seasons to replace our AC as they are affiliated with Costco and I made the mistake that Costco had vetted them. Just know just because they are affiliated with Costco -- dont expect Costco level service or quality.

I have been using Four Seasons for years and only have had positive experiences with them. The guys that come to the house always display the utmost of professionalism. They are clearly well qualified and knowledgeable. They seem honest and I have never felt like they were trying to sell me anything I didn't need. Highly recommend Four Seasons.
