Four Seasons to the rescue. Had a water heater that had died and my Family is pretty particular about having hot water to bathe and was dishes. I had contacted several companies and had gotten an array of costs and timelines for service. Then I can across Four Seasons - I could not be happier with their service, courtesy, cost, and communication. Gave them the signal to go at 8:00AM and at 2:00PM I had hot water and a Family that would talk to me again. The price was the lowest I was quoted and the service was AAA+++. Do yourself a favor and when You want it done right - contact Four Seasons - You will be happy You did -

Hired Four Seasons to repair and replace sprinkler valves that were leaking. Mr. Nguyen was professional and shared his ideas on improving my current valve placement and improving my water flow. His pricing was very fair and work was done in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job. I highly recommend Four Seasons Construction and Landscape for any project.

Saw the reviews on Yelp which were quite old and not great. As someone who uses Yelp all the time, I thought the company deserved an updated review.
We had a deck and trellis that needed to be replaced. We used a composite material which was quite expensive.
We interviewed three contractors. At first I was hesitant to use Four Seasons, but the owner, Dinh Nguyen, was earnest and promised that I would be happy.
He's not computerized, so our contract was handwritten on a company form. Unusual in this day and age, but hey, the computer isn't building my deck.
We pinned down the start date, the work schedule, payment schedule, and finish date.
Everything went very smoothly. A large wisteria was on the trellis which made the job tricky. Branches were everywhere. They actually went beyond what I expected by raising the trellis to better support the wisteria. I didn't think about it, but they did.
I had a plan for the deck which had an unusual shape. They reworked the design using the materials that I had already purchased and made it come out much better than my design. They also suggested some addition water lines and added electrical outlets. The added price was very reasonable.
The whole experience was very good. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Dinh!

Review of Dinh
1. missed the first consultation appointment, and didnt tell me until AFTER i asked him where he was
2. during the consultation, he got very defensive when I was asking questions. This was my first time having a sink issue so I had a lot of questions.
3. Tells me to go to Home Depot to new sink and faucet. Which I do. Afterwards, tells me he doesnt want to do this job anymore because its not suited for him.
4. Recommends me a friend of his, who also says thats not the type of work they do.
If Dinh wasn't able to repair or install sinks, he should have just said so. Instead of pretending to know everything about it, tell me to buy new equipment and then not do the job. Horrible attitude and very unprofessional

There is something fishy about this contractor business.
I took time off from work to get estimate from this contractor and requested written quote with state's license on it. He asked few questions, it sounded like he had something to hide. I answered it then heard nothing from him.
I don't think this contractor is state licensed contractor. Even he claimed he is.
I just wasted my time.
DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AS YOUR OWN RISK.

The wooden deck in my backyard was seldom used, I sealed it every 3 years with Thompson water seal, it looked good but somehow termites had taken to it. So I used Yelp and got four bids that ranged anywhere from $320 to $450.
I gave the bid to Dinh, who came by to 11/5 to dismantle my rotting wooden deck in the backyard on Monday. This also required digging up concrete arbors, there were about 14 of them. He took it all away in his pickup truck in pieces in about four trips. Then came by the following day to tidy and clean up the yard.
Now I can plant some new fruit trees.
A+ another great job.

Long story short if you do not have time to read the detail below: From my experience, this contractor is dishonest, lack of integrity, not trust worthy and has no respect to the customer. Please avoid.
Here is the whole story:
Got three contractors to bid on my landscaping project around 6/15, although he does not have the best price, but considering what he claimed he could do, I did favor him at the very beginning. (He could do paving which I might need his service later.) And I like to do thing over email which he does but others do not.
Working on the quotation, upon talking with other contractors, I realized there are some detail that can vary the price quite a bit, so I tend to be as specific as possible to ensure all the contractors are quoting off the same ground. Then I also realize his quotation does not include a lot of essential cost, such as the dirt dump fee is not included, mulching is the lowest grade, unless you pay extra to upgrade which I have to... etc. I then explicitly told him do not try to outbid others by lower down the quote and end up adding cost in the later stage that I will not comply. Since other contractor was very specific and up front about what is being offered but he does not.
Getting the quotation from him is almost impossible, I asked him to be specific on his quotation content, it takes 3 days to get his response and he cannot get it right at one shot, then it took another 3 days to wait for his correction. I think this is obvious that I should have quit on him, but since I spent so much time communicated with him already and he kept convincing me that I'll be happy if he does the job for me. I guess I was not sober enough to realize all the bad indications.
After clear up the quotation and content, the real nightmare starts. He promised to start on July 4th weekend, but waited till 7/5, no call, no show, not reply to my voice mail. Keep calling him, but he did not pick up. Email him on July 9th, he finally responded to email saying he cannot find his phone!! And promised to come by at 7/11.
Then he started asking me questions through email like how many plants I want to plant, planting cost a lot of time and effort, irrigation system is expensive, he should have limited the number of plants... blah blah... this guy is unbelievable, he cannot stand behind his own quotation, and already start complaining even he hasn't get started.
I thought a landscaping contractor, he should know the size of the garden I have and how much in average the plants will be needed... I'm not trying to build up a forest, it is simply a ordinary front yard layout with the adequate amount of plants!
BTW, he did not give me a single call since he claimed that he lost his phone. Everything was through email, no apology, but keep telling me he is busy. I asked him to give me his REALISTIC estimate date that he could actually show up to work on my project, I really do not have more time to waste, considering he already waste a lot of my time. This time not even a email response. The last email from him is dated 7/10. Again, no show, no call on 7/11 as he promised to show up at my place in his email.
Now I'm finally awake! But I'm so glad he didn't really start working on my project, otherwise I might run into another disaster. I do keep all the email to backup my review. Please avoid this guy, horrible experience with him.
