Furnace went out tonight & so I called Foster's Heating 24 hour emergency answering service and their repairman Jake called me back within 3 minutes. He headed straight over to the house. Jake was very courteous and professional. He he had the parts on hand and fixed the furnace in less than an hour. Thank you for the prompt service Foster Heating & Air!!
Johnny came this morning for spring maintenance check. While checking air conditioning we noticed a puddle under the water heater as it was leaking. Called the office mentioning I had carpeting on the other side of wall that water was leeching into. Please help! Within two hours I had a new water heater installed. Thanks very much to William, Wes, Eric and Colton for your quick work. So glad I have a maintenance program with Fosters!
Doug D.I have been trying to get a faulty duct work situation fixed since last September. They did the original install back in 2016, and the master bedroom vent has never worked, no air flow. Dealing with this has been an awful experience. Their technicians don't take their shoes off, or wear booties, and neither tech wore a mask in the last 2 visits. On top of that, they don't seem very knowledgeable, this is not a good company, and their customer service is simply awful and the lady is very rude when you call in.
Greg S.At 9:31 a.m. I called Fosters to set up a service call for my central air which was not working. The lady took all my information and then told me that the service person would call me 20 to 30 minutes before they arrived. I sat here waiting until 4:45 p.m. At which time I called their office phone # to see if I could expect anyone or not. I got the answering service as the office closed at 4 p. m.. She told me she would get in touch with the on call person. Within a couple of minutes I received a call from a guy who said ""yeah this Fosters"" I asked if they were coming or not. He said I could come out but you'll have to pay the after hours rate. I started to say something and the jerk interrupted and said "" we never tell anyone it's same day service. He said she tells everyone that they'll get a call 20 or 30 Minutes before they arrive. He was a jerk and very defensive. I agree with his statement about the 20 to 30 minutes, That is what she said. I guess it was my responsibility to determine if the 20 to 30 minutes was today, this week, this month, this year, this decade, or this century.
This is not the way a reputable company does business. If they actually cared about customer service they could have called and asked if I wanted them to come out at the higher rate. Nope all their employees went on home while I sat and waited for the entire day. If you need heating or ac repair do yourself a favor and DO NOT believe all their lies about their customer service, just call ANYONE else.
Rob R.We've seen the ugly pink Foster's vans all over town. We have to say We're HAPPY that one of them came by when we called for an estimate to replace our 20 year old furnace and central air conditioner. We had 3 estimates from 3 different companies. Curt is the only Rep who spent any time with us explaining how things worked and what to expect. He told us a circuit breaker would need to be changed out, some duct work would need to be addressed and he explained to my partner over the phone the differences in systems etc. One of the guys from another company came out, took a picture of our existing furnace and said, ""I'll send you a quote"" I asked if he wanted to see the circuit breaker panel and he said, ""Naw I'm good"" he was in the house all of 5 minutes. His quote was $2,000. cheaper. The other place was cheaper too. The time that Curt spent with us, along with his professionalism is what sold us on Fosters. The 2 guys who did the install, Eric and Colton just re-enforced our confidence that we made the right choice. They both rock. We couldn't be happier with the final product. We'll NEVER look at those ugly pink vans the same way again. Foster's may not be the cheapest place in town, but just remember you get what you pay for.
The service from Fosters is exceptional! We took advantage of their Energy Savings Account (ESA) or Maintenance Agreement that is offered to homeowners. We have been fortunate that Juli has been our tech for both the furnace and air conditioning checkup. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, detailed and goes the extra mile!
Megan L.Fosters is the best place in town! We have been using them for years, and their commitment to service, punctuality, and expertise are all top notch! Our furnace went out in November, and I gave Fosters a call. They were at my house within an hour, and had the problem fixed in very quickly, just a clogged filter! Their prices are the best in town, and I wouldn't trust anybody else with our heating and cooling!
I had my a/c tuned up not too long ago and the tech, Jim, did an excellent job! I am a new home owner so I was curious about my equipment and wanted to know everything about it so I know how to maintain the equipment. He went above and beyond explaining everything and showing me what to look for if things aren't working properly. He even sprayed by wasp nests for me and left the can with me. It was an experience I didn't expect but extremely appreciated by far.
In mid-summer heat, I called to have a someone come refill the coolant in my condenser of my A/C unit that has a slow leak. The tech showed up and left after less than a minute as the condenser was frozen over (she could have had me turn off AC and waited five minutes), but she seem in a hurry to get to the next customer (billing opportunity). While tech was out, I asked about getting a quote on a replacement. She said she would let the office know and that the person that provides quote could refill coolant when he stopped over since she wasn't able too. When I talked to rep on the phone who was coming out to quote me on a new A/C unit, I mentioned that tech said to have him refill it when he came out. He showed up two days later and provided the quote, but seem disinterested in actually refilling my coolant. Especially, when I told him I was going to get another quote for the new A/C as his quote seemed rather high. Even worse, it was implied that I would get my coolant refill once I signed the contract for very expensive A/C replacement.
Trying to get resolution, I called their office and asked them what the deal was on getting someone to refill the coolant. The scheduler said she would have someone come out that afternoon, but no one ever did. So, I called back again the next day to check again and was told they tried to call me to to come out the day before (though I had no incoming calls in my call log).
To finish it off, I quickly get a bill in the mail though they were out for less than a minute and failed to do the one, very simple thing I had originally asked them to do.
They seem very interested (and quick at) billing, not very quick and interested in providing service. They have lost my business forever!
