FBE was referred to me by my cousin who grew up on FB. Such a great referral. We recently bought a formal AirBnB which was really in need of some new plumbing repair and some new fixtures, and electrical updates. They did (and are still) doing a terrific job. They are careful to ensure you get exactly what you want. My cousin was so right in referring them. Very easy to work with, and really great guys show up on our house.

Michael is the estimator that works for Fort Bragg Electric and Plumbing. He stopped by yesterday. I told him the history of my ""very unusual"" kerosene fueled water heater and the central heating system that it is hooked up to. I described my frustration in dealing with ""other"" local plumbing companies. I soon learned that my Bock water heater is of excellent quality. Michael believed that it could last for additional decades with appropriate attention. While he acknowledged that he was not qualified to work on HVAC equipment, Michael pointed out what was obvious to him, my Bock water heater was apparently in good working condition and there was no need to replace it. He came to this conclusion after I asked him what he would do if he were me.
Our interaction was significantly noteworthy for several reasons:
#1. I learned that my water heater could serve me for possibly three times as long as I had previously been told. I had been led to believe that a water heater such as mine had a lifespan of approximately 15 years.
#2. A potential bill for work that could have been $4,000 or more evaporated.
#3. I have established a healthy ""client/provider"" relationship with a plumber I can talk to.
#4. Michael appears to possess an open mind as well as an ability to adapt to his clients.
It is comforting to learn that my heating system is functioning properly.

Called to get a broken pipe fixed. They didn't have anyone available that day but said they would call back when they had a plumber available (yes, despite the name they do plumbing jobs too). The plumber called me a few days later and came out promptly to fix my pipe in about 45 minutes. He did a great job too and replaced some other pipe so it wouldn't happen again.

Trying to be as objective as possible, since it has been a frustrating three days. Recently purchased a home that came with a home warranty for plumbing, electrical and heating. American Home Shield (AHS).
I was out of town, wife informs me the drain pipe from the dishwasher to the drain pipe at the sink is leaking. Okay, contact AHS on 10/12 @ 9am. They assigned to Fort Bragg Electric at 9:15. Supposed to get a call from them to schedule service.
No phone call as of 2 pm on 10/12, so I contact the company. Christine quick to answer. No record of any service authorized.
Contact AHS. They will verify request was sent. Contact FB Electric on 10/13 @ 11 am. Christine, still no record, would you like to to leave voicemail for Mary in dispatch. Sure. Left message. No callback. Contact FB Electric again on 10/14 @ 12 pm. Sounds like maybe the office manager. She assures me Mary will call me back. Received call back from Mary around 1:30. Mary apologizes and states that the request from AHS went to her junk mail. But she can now schedule it. Unfortunately can't schedule anything until next Thursday 10/22. Well, first, there is a way to fix the messages from known sender going to junk mail.
Now I get that FB Electric might not like dealing with AHS, but then why accept the business? When they provide such poor service to the end user, they are going to be alienating new homeowners in the area that might very well end up being longtime customers after the warranty expires.

This company was highly professional on all levels. The estimate was on target, working with Mary for scheduling and the process was smooth. Matt and his crew were efficient, respectful and safety conscious. The job was completed as planned and the final invoice was very very close to the estimate. The whole team exceeded our expectations.

Ron did it again! This is the second time I've called Fort Bragg Electric with a tough job, and this is the second time Ron solved it! Each time the problem could have led to expensive repairs, and both times Ron found the issue without major expense. Thanks Ron! Thanks Fort Bragg Electric!

Great spot to get stuff for your plumbing needs not in hardware stores. Friendly helpful staff. This is my recent experience -- years ago I had a plumbing issue at night during a party; they came right out; mitigated it, which wasn't an easy venture and I was pleasantly surprised at the price. I thought I'd be paying hundreds and this was not so. Bear in mind it was over a decade ago. Yet, Fort Bragg has plumbing has always been here for my needs and we are lucky to have a stand up business here.

These guys are awesome.
They have done a lot for me over the years on the electric side but yesterday the plumbers saved me.
We have a rental property with guest checking out at noon and new guest checking in at 5.
While cleaning, the housekeeper noticed a plumbing issue.
I called every plumber in fort bragg. These guys went to the property and would not leave until everything was functional. Their expertise lead them from the toilet to the septic system to the electric switch and pump system that controls the septic.
Buffalo (the name of the water and pump specialists) went above and beyond to make sure everything was working perfectly before he left. He called me multiple times to keep me updated. He gave me his cell number for weekend problems and he volunteered to check back each morning to make sure our guests were having no issues
Best service I have received in a long time. Trustworthy. Hardworking. Smart.
Highly recommended.

Mary, thank you for always being so polite on the phone. Year after year we use you guys and have no complaints at all both with the electrical and plumbing side of your services rendered.
Today we had Tony out again, such a great guy with a huge smile. Always on time! He fixed 2 issues regarding plumbing in less than 1 hour and that includes him leaving for a part and returning back. What a local contractor said would take removing a floor and a wall was not the case at all. Thanks again FB P&E ! Money and time well saved em sure :)

We just finished the electrical on a minor remodel. Since we are from out of the area, these folks were cooperative with scheduling, placing us alongside a weekend. Mary at the office was great, and when the job changed a bit as we added on, staff quickly got the extra parts of what we needed. Ron and Lyle, our installers were excellent! They made suggestions which made the project complete on time (actually before that) and made the outcome better. Did you know the 'warmest' led lights are 2700? Neither did we, and we would have probably chosen wrong without these guys' great help! Very professional and exceptionally good natured, considering they were working in cold, dim, dusty surroundings. You have an excellent crew here, FBE, and I'd advise anyone to look no further!
