I have been using Forster Plumbing for about 15 years, and they never disappoint. Brian is the owner/operator and generally has 2 or 3 experienced plumbers working for him. I find it so much more pleasant dealing with a small outfit rather than a mega operation. One hundred percent of the time that I call, Brian himself promptly answers the phone. I can't say that about very many businesses - particularly not in the trades. Beyond that, he or his crew have appeared for their promised appointments 100% of the time. The work is top of the line quality at very affordable prices. I long ago stopped asking ""the rate"" because I am confident that the total charge will be reasonable, and it always is reasonable. Indeed, ""rates"" can be deceiving anyway. The real issues are integrity and competence. Respecting both, Brian excels.

We needed a vanity replaced in our bathroom. They gave us a estimate that we thought was reasonable. We then scheduled a repair date and to our surprise they came out and did a wonderful job. They were prompt and efficient. They made sure that after the job was completed the area was cleaned to our satisfaction.

I have this little rental house and I want to keep my great tenants happy. So over the past three of four years these plumbers have been out for nearly everything that can go wrong with plumbing....the tenants are always happy, I am happy, great business that does great work on time and at a rate that you know is well worth it. I first called them because they are local, but you should call them because they are great.

Quick to schedule and do good work. Labor/Service charge is the highest around and unpredictable. Seriously, not even 15 minutes of work, non emergency call, during a weekday, less than a mile from their office... $170 labor charge! I'm baffled. Previous calls have been reasonable and even insightful as once they even showed me where to get an old school piece and how to do some work myself. This last one has me at a loss for words though.

We had to evacuate Wilmington recently and came to our daughter's house in Baltimore. Every time that we are here, we try to help with needed projects. The replacement of water heater and bath vanity top was on that to-do list. We called Forster Plumbing out of the blue and spoke with Brian. He came out within the hour and gave us a quote. Another job had just been postponed so they had availability right away. Forster Plumbing work crew showed up within two hours - 3 men & two vans with all necessary equipment. They were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. They hauled away the old water heater & vanity and were out of here in a few hours. They left their work areas immaculate. Our daughter now has a very reliable & reputable plumbing company to call whenever that need might arise.

Discovered Forster Plumbing through Bolton Hill site. During my 25 years in my 1850 Federal row house with a mix of old and modern plumbing, this company has provided the most prompt and excellent work at the best price. Jobs include repair to old tub fixtures for which they found an old freebee piece, saving the cost of a complete replacement, the replacement of an old gas line to my stove, and repair of a leaking iron pipe in the cellar.

We've had Forster Plumbing come out and do several jobs for us and both times they were prompt, reasonably priced and did a nice job. The first job was a sump pump emergency and the second job was a toilet replacement. My wife was very comfortable with them and we like their work. Why call anyone else?

We've used other plumbers when needed and Forster's rates are very reasonable comparatively and they never make us wait days to get to a job. They are definitely worth the call.

Extremely high labor cost. Had them caulk one bath tub and labor of $160 was charged. Ridiculous... Will not use them again. Recommend you price compare first. There have got to be less expensive plumbers out there.
