Forger-Kunkel Plumbing has been our family plumbing resource for many years. When my elderly mom's hot water heater tank started leaking she called them and got a quote of $1,700 to replace the Ford Aquaboster tank. I called Mr. Kunkel to get their quote in writing so I could check his price for the proposed replacement tank and their estimated labor cost to install it. Mr. Kunkel was incensed that I wanted to check his quote with other plumbing service providers and declined to provide a written quotation. He said the tank was already on the truck and that he did not want to recall the plumbers he had sent to replace it. I therefore canceled my Mom's tank replacement authorization and subsequently found two other local plumbing service providers who were willing to provide quotes in writing and ended up saving $200 on the tank replacement cost. I appreciate his company's good service in the past and hope that they do not take elderly folks for granted in the future.

Mr. Kunkel returned my call within a day. My non-emergency repairs had to wait until after the holiday, but I get why these guys are busy. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and readily explained what the problems were and how to fix them. Then proceeded to do so. Even went above and beyond in clearing the dishwasher drain so I didn't need to call an appliance repair person too. And left no mess.

I had to obtain a part for a store-brand fixture (they are well-equiped on their truck, but this was not a standard part). I called when I had it and they returned promptly to install it.

Just old-fashioned good service.

A friend referred me to Kunkle Plumbers, saying they were excellent. I concur. The polite, pleasant plumbers were here on time, they were capable and efficient. They were willing to work on and restore my very old but beloved plumbing. They were very neat. I would highly recommend them to anyone .

This was my first experience using Forger/Kunkel and it was excellent!
Mr. Kunkel returned my call promptly and came to my house at the promised time, to see what was needed for his worker
to install my new kitchen sink and faucet. A few hrs later I received a call that his worker would be at my house in 1/2hr.
Upon arrival the plumbing Tech. removed my old sink and faucet.
He took great care in his work so as not to damage my countertop. He had to trim the top to fit the new sink,
which he did slowly and with great care so as not to damage the 14 yr.old Formica top.
My new sink and faucets were installed promptly with great attention to details, such as care and use of new faucets.
After his fine work he cleaned the area thoroughly and removed all debris and outdated sink.
I have to give this company an A+ for promptness, great work and reasonable price.
