I spoke with Cynthia over the phone, she had great customer service and quickly helped us schedule an appointment for the same day . The technician luis was amazing very knowledgeable and helped us resolve our plumbing issue. Ford's team is amazing from the office staff to the technicians. Their prices are fair and I will definitely call them next time I am have a plumbing issue. Thank you Fords team!

SoCal Gas found a leak while turning service back on after home fumigation. Main pipe from the gas meter near the curbside to the house needed to be dug up and replaced. I found Ford's, a local and family owned company, and gave them a call for an estimate. Luis came out and submitted $12,000 bid on the project after listening to exactly what needed to be done. We had not had any gas for about 4 days and getting anxiously this time...borderline desperate. Second company I had contacted came out half hour later and and gave me a substantially lower bid at $6,200 for the identical project. Third company came out and gave a $5,800 bid and this is when I realized Ford's is grossly overpriced. It doesn't make me happy to write that I felt deceived and taken advantage of our unfortunate and desperate situation. I can surely understand difference in several hundreds of dollars based on the size of the project, but 2X? I really couldn't wrap my head around it. Needless to say, I used one of the other companies. I don't want to say you should never hire them to do a job. I don't want to be that way. Having said that, I would advise anyone needing plumbing work to look around and get several quotes / bids before signing with Ford's.

Luis and Dino from Ford Plumbing in Culver City are excellent. I put out a call on Angi for a plumber to clear a clogged kitchen pipe. Ford Plumbing responded quickly and set up an appointment for 8:30 am the same day. They arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional, as well as fast and thorough. Luis explained what they would do for basic service, and what a more thorough service would entail. He did not press me to have all the pipes hydro-jetted when I was pretty sure we just needed the kitchen piped snaked. The price was quite reasonable. Luis crawled under the house to inspect the pipes and verify that there was nothing amiss there. When I asked about the possibility of using a green liquid drain cleaner as a preventative measure, Dino took the time to clearly explain what happens inside the pipes when they are used. I will definitely call then next time the drain backs up!

Wall furnace not starting called so I called Ford in the morning I was told next day between 12 and 3 @ 2pm they called back saying it would be closer to 5. At 5:30 the tec shows up and claims I was quoted $195 for an inspection before they would quote for a repair. Wasted half a day for nothing.

I've worked with the folks at Ford's plumbing twice, and they've been fast, reliable and very helpful. The first time, we had an emergency with some roots coming into our pipes, which sent water backing up into the house. They managed to come within a few hours and clear the roots. The next time, their plumber Train came to service our hot water heater and got back up and running in less than three hours from when I called. Thanks for that!

Their prices are probably a little on the high end, but I really appreciated how quickly they worked.

Called early in the day about a non-draining shower/tub and they had Santiago and George out to our house by 10 am. It turned out that in addition to a clogged drain, which they fixed in short order, there was a pipe under the house which was so badly corroded it was no longer connected completely where it teed into the main line so some of the water was draining under the house. Santiago showed me a picture of the pipe, explained what needed to be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost. They came back 2 days later (at my request or it would have been sooner) and did the job within in the time they had estimated. Santiago recommended a couple of other things as our waste water lines are all original and showing their age. He wrote up quotes for those as well and encouraged us to do our own research on the issues. It's a relief to have the shower/tub draining properly and we were grateful there wasn't a worse situation under the house with the broken pipe. Excellent service and efficient staff all around.

HUGE THANK YOU to Ford's Plumbing, and in particular, the technician who helped us out, Luis!!! I called Ford's in the evening because the pilot light went out in my mom's house after the earthquake gas valve tripped and we couldn't relight it ourselves. To complicate matters, I'm stuck quarantining with a Covid infection, and Luis was kind enough to call my bf who was on site to help try to verbally walk him through a self-fix as an alternative to charging us for a visit. This is true customer service and hands down, Ford's Plumbing will be our go-to for any future needs. Thank you, Luis. You are much appreciated!
