I called Forbes a few years ago and decided that would be the last time. My shower had a bad leak. When the guy said he was done I checked it out and it leaked even worse. Had water shooting up at the ceiling. Can't believe he wanted me to pay for it. JH. Monmouth

Mike came out and checked everthing under the sink first.
He then fixed the leak by adding new nuts to the drain.
He did a great job and I would highly recommend them
for any type of plumbing needs!

Forbes has always been our go to for anything plumbing. Mike does an exceptional job. However, yesterday we had a water emergency and I called. The man that answered the phone said they couldn't get to us for a week. When I told him it was an emergency, he still said it would be ""next Tuesday"". We're done with them.

We needed a new toilet installed and were told they would be there at 8a. They called at 8:15 to say they were leaving and arrived at almost 8:30. They were done by 9:20 and charged us for an hour and a half even though they were there less than an hour. Called back and was told that it includes drive time....which is 1.4 miles from their shop to our front door.
Also, when my wife and I went to look at the work that they had done, we noticed a big mess where he had removed the old toilet and set it. The area was soaked and old pee water was left in a pan sitting on the floor.
Called to talk with them and was told that there is nothing they can do. They just go by the time that the plumber checks in and out on their phone. Makes me wonder how many of their other customers were overcharged for time. Luckily, we had time stamps where the plumber had called to say he was leaving and my wife texted me right when he pulled up. If we hadn't had those time stamps, they would have stood behind their guy.
Very dissapointed as when I called them, they wanted to argue and try to use the drive time excuse. I had heard nothing but good...I guess I was the 'lucky' one.

This company checks all the boxes - they have humans answer their phone, they give a 2-hour window for the service call, they call if there's a cancellation and they can arrive sooner than expected. And when they arrive, they get right down to business, do the work well and don't try to sell you something you don't need. I've used Forbes Plumbing twice in the past year and a half, and they are really superior to plumbers I've used in other areas. I wouldn't contact anyone else - they are the best!

We had no water at all except what was pouring down the street from a break on our side of the meter. When we called Forbes, the receptionist told us everyone was out on emergencies, but volunteered to contact the owner about coming over after his current job.
Within an hour he called and then came out after hours to fix the problem. Very fast, exactly the right equipment, and reasonable too.
This is the company you want on speed dial for all your plumbing work!

Moved to Rickreall, OR in 2015. I needed some plumbing done in our new home. I called a couple of plumbers listed for Dallas, OR. They did not get back to me. Then I called Forbes Plumbing. Wow Immediate Service! I have used Forbes several times since my first call. They have proved to be very reliable, friendly, prompt, and professional. I give them a five star review. March 9, 2017 I had the pleasure of having Jeff and David come out. I called Forbes at 8:00 AM and Jeff and David showed up at 11:00 am. I call that excellent service. They took care of my drain problem and did not even charge me. I have continued to have excellent service from Forbes everytime I call!!
