Have been using Foothill Plumbing for many years. Pricing always seems reasonable, they finish in a timely manner, clean up after them selves, are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, are friendly and clean. Micheal the owner is down to earth, fair, knowledgeable, funny...not to mention good looking. All of his plumbing technicians and office staff thus far have been fantastic too. It's still as reliable as when his father ran it. Have recommended them to dozens of people. Their the go to guys for all you plumbing needs. Micheal/Mike also has recommended other business when I was looking and in need of other repairs, I.e. electrical. Thanks!

Love Love Love Foothill plumbing. I spoke to Miranda on the phone yesterday for a silly faucet replacement. Nothing of any urgency but was treated equally to those that have a water main break. Mike came the next day and installed the new faucet and fresh water spicket. He allowed me to change out the dishwasher air gap cap.( I like to be useful like that. )
I cant say enough good things about FP. They're the best in the area.
After having Mike out a couple of times now, he will definitely be handling all my future plumbing needs.

Ok so I thought I could do the job myself. Replace the shutoff valve, what could go wrong? Well after many many many tries I failed and had quite a mess on my hands. So I called a plumber, Foothill Plumbing. After I called, Matt was at my door within an hour. He evaluated the job, gave me a reasonable quote before starting the job, I agreed, and he proceeded to fix my mess. He did not look at me funny for trying to do it myself, he just fix the problem and completed the job.
In short am I happy with the job Foothill Plumbing did? Yes. Would I recommend them to other people? Yes.

Their prices are totally outrageous! Don't use them! They charged me $100+ for parts that only cost $10!

This company is a joke. I would not recommend to anyone. They over charge, they do not show up on time and they often completely change a time when you wait all day for them. They charge way to much money. I was charged 300.00 for them to just repair my water heater that should have been replaced for a new one. Instead they just glued it together with tape and crap and charged 300.00 for this. They also said i needed a new bathroom faucet that was perfectly fine. It was actually the water heater that needed replaced. Anyway, they are awful and they lie and do not do good work at all. It's a joke. Good luck.

We had a sudden loss of hot water in our business which has many sinks. The first two plumbers out did not have the patience to actually analyze the problem. One even charged us $400 to replace a part that later turned out to be fine.
On a recommendation from a general contractor we know, we called Mike who was able to come the next business day. He really took the time to explore our hot water setup which includes a hot water return loop with all its many parts. He spent a couple hours methodically eliminating various causes. I used to troubleshoot computer networks for a living, and I can tell you he is a great troubleshooter, even in complicated situations.
Mike eventually discovered that our original plumbing installer had made 3 mistakes installing the hot water return loop, and that the cold water inlet to the hot water heater had rusted over and was blocked. No other plumber had bothered to look at the cold water inlet. Mike and the company that makes the water heater have never seen a rusted cold water inlet before and Mike spent quite a while on the phone with their support people talking through the problem with them and making the claim that we are owed a replacement unit.
Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and available. What more could you ask for? Oh right, he also cleaned up after himself quite neatly.
I would highly recommend Foothill plumbing, even for a business with more needs than typical residential.

I called Foothill Plumbing and Mike Lonsdale, the owner came out for my clogged main sewer line.
He first ran a large snake down a 2"" clean out. That did not do the trick and then he ran a smaller snake down the same 2"" cleanout. I told him that the last plumber that came out 5 years ago to unclog some roots ran his snake down the 4"" vent on the roof.
Mike was getting frustrated as his snake got caught in the 2"" cleanout. He then informed me that he will have to cut his snake and charge me for the service call and pay for the snake that he got stuck in my drain!
I called 5 different plumbers after this incident and they would have never gone down a 2"" cleanout and would not have used a smaller snake after using a larger snake.
I had an experienced plumber come out and he went down the 4"" vent on the roof with his retrieval tool to attempt to remove the caught snake with no luck.
Long story short I had to cut the concrete where the snake was caught in my 2"" cleanout, dig down, expose the 4"" main sewer line, remove his snake that he left and install a proper 4"" clean out. I had to pay for all of this and took Mike/Foothill plumbing to small claims court. Mike was going to charge me $800 to do the above mentioned work to remove his snake. The judge awarded me the case.
Mike sent a check. And in the memo line of the check wrote: ""Merry Christmas a**hole!""
Stay away from foothill plumbing and CALL an experienced plumber!

Love...love ...Foothill Plumbing !!...used them in the past and Mike did a FABULOUS JOB THEN AND TODAY !!...I really appreciate the fast , courteous service they provided for me ! My plumbing is a mess and I will ABSOLUTELY be using them to do it in the future !! Thanks again Mike and your Other Worker !!

I had a pretty severe leak in my front yard so I called FootHill Plumbing since we've had a wonderful experience in the past - they've worked at my house over the years on several different projects. it just seems like they've gotten too big to provide the same level of service they used to. Mike came out to look at the leak, took one look, then said he had to go work on something else. He said he'd come the next day. On the second day, I got a call around 3 pm saying that he won't be able to come out because he was too busy. I asked when they could come help and was told that they're short handed and the rest of the week was booked up. This was on a Tuesday! I totally understand prioritizing jobs and would have been more accepting if I had a minor issue, but I had a major issue and they were too busy to help. Maybe my job was too messy for them? I guess they're enjoying good business and can pick and choose their work, but I can no longer rely on them.

It's a Friday at 5:30 pm. Both toilets are backing up in my rental unit. I yelped Foothill Plumbing and within a half-hour, Mike was on the scene. 40 minutes after that, the toilets were working and the renter was happy again. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing repair. Thanks Mike!
