Today I tried to fix a leaky valve myself and broke the PVC pipe where it came out of the ground. Unfortunately the only way to turn the water off at the valve was to turn the water off for the whole house. Being Saturday I didn't want to go without water for a couple days and figured I'd have to pay big bucks to get a plumber out on a Saturday.

I messaged 5 businesses on Yelp and Frank from FM Plumbing got back to me in less than 10 minutes. He said he could come and give me an estimate right then or I could send him photos and he could give me an estimate over the phone. As I was expecting to have to get a bunch of quotes to not overpay, I opted to send Frank some photos. Frank got back to me right away and said it would only be $80 plus the cost of parts! Honestly, I was expecting it be at least $200 or $300 for an emergency appointment on the weekend so I told him to come over right away.

Frank arrived about 25 minutes later. It took him about an hour and he fixed everything exactly as he said he would. He also had my water back on right away. I was very impressed with Frank's pricing and quality of work. He also told me to call him if there were any issues whatsoever, and told me he would come back free of charge. I don't think I could have asked for anything else.
