I called yesterday and Jessie showed up this morning on time. I explained the leak and we discussed our thoughts. I didn't want him to cut through the wall first and requested that he try from the bathroom cabinet on the other side. He did that but could not see if there was a leak due to the insulation. He cut through the hallway wall and found the problem. He very carefully explained the options for remediation and was patient with my infinite amount of questions. What I thought may take all day, took about 3 hours. Jessie was thorough, tidy, kind, professional and made me feel very comfortable that the leak was repaired. I love hiring local businesses and I would highly recommend Flowrite! Thank you for the great work and Jessie is a definite asset to your team!

We had a leaking fireplace gas turn on valve. We were afraid that the fireplace hearth would have to be opened up because of how the pipes were situated below. Jesse Portillo came and saved the day! He carefully took off the church key valve, and found the leak underneath. He had a great deal of difficulty threading a new pipe on the existing pipe in the hearth because it was crooked. He refused to give up until he got it all put together and sealed. His outstanding work saved us thousands of dollars and much heartache!
Thank you, Jesse, and thank you Flowrite!
You are our ""go to"" plumbing company from now on !!

Buyer beware! Ran into Jimmy at a home show and talked us into a Rinnai tankless water heater which he installed. He sold it like he's Mr. Rinnai, saying they are the best brand on the market. Not the case! Was supposed to be trouble free for 20 years and here we are 3 years later and it's throwing codes and shutting down which is really not great when you're in the shower. The unit was diagnosed by Rinnai technical support as having a bad burner which of course can be typical for some tankless water heaters. He order and received the new burner and brought it up. It didn't throw a code while he was there and after being on the phone with Rinnai tech support which concluded that the burner needed to be pulled for inspection. He decided he would not put it in since it was a big job and threatened to the tech support that he would be sending Rinnai a large bill for his labor to take it apart. This is warranty work which he will get compensated for from Rinnai, but admitting not enough for Flowrite. He made up an invoice to charge me $350 just to drive to my house and look at it for a half hour after the unit had already been diagnosed. This is on top of his install charges to me originally which ended up calculating to be $600 per hour labor plus markup on the product. He admitted to me afterwords that he bills $300 per hour for himself and $300 for each of his helpers on the job. I never would have used him knowing that ahead of time. He left the job today without installing the burner taking the free part from Rinnai with him. The water heater ended up throwing a code right after he left. I contacted him and told him, but now refuses to do the job. He stated that someone near my house can figure it out. Now he is ghosting me to send the warranty part up for a new recommended company by Rinnai customer service to do the work. He had ended up deleting the invoice and didn't charge me the $350 today after all, but quite a scam I think. My guess is his original plan was to bill me $350 and then bill Rinnai and double dip so to speak. His quality of work was visually fine, but be prepared to pay big bucks if you want Flowrite to do the job. To me Flowrite means if the $'s aren't flowing in his direction at a high rate, then he won't do the job. This business has the illusion when you call Flowrite that it's this huge corporate company, but it's pretty much a one man show thats in business to take your money. Buyer beware!

Jimmy has a customer for life! He swooped in after we have battled for 5.5 weeks with warranty insurance to replace our hot water heater. He and Jesse were fast, friendly and we feel very confident that we're taken care of. I contrast this experience with another local plumber and it's like night and day. His price was fair and I trust that he'll be around if we have any problems.

What a joke. Yes they showed up but held us hostage with their repair plans. The only reason we called them in the first place is because they are certified for Rinnai tankless hot water heaters.
We paid over $700 for the ""Band-Aid"" fix. That is what they called it. Really? I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find another certified company,

Found out after he left that I was gouged. I had an error code on my tankless water heater for an ignition problem. The regional tankless water heater rep recommended Flowrite. He came and said that the igniter looked fine but that the unit was dirty and that wouldn't be covered by warranty. I chose the cheapest ""repair"" option (which was just a dusting/cleaning job), and then later found out the cost was quite steep. He was very nice and wore a mask the whole time and was very professional however

I called Flowrite for a quote to change out approximately 60' of cast iron sewer line on my investment property. They communicated well, showed up when promised, and did a great job. Jimmy will give you a fair estimate, and is an honest man. When the job was completed, Flowrite actually charged me a bit less than I was originally quoted because they didn't have to change out a small portion of the piping which I wasn't able to see. Go with these guys if your on the fence about choosing a plumber.

I needed a new disposal and to have my kitchen drain cleared, as it was almost stopped up. They were prompt in responding to my call and scheduling a mutually convenient time. Their technician, Jesse, was friendly and courteous. He put booties on before coming into my house, removed them at the door whenever he had to go out to his truck, and put them back on before coming back into my house, which I appreciated. He wore gloves and a mask. He gave me about 4 different packages to choose from calling them, as I recall, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Band-Aid. The Gold (which was well over $1,000) and the Silver and Bronze packages seemed to include preventative services and offered me longer warranties. I just wanted a cleared drain and a new disposal, not all the other bells and whistles, so I chose the Band-Aid package, which, by the time I'd heard all the other prices, seemed reasonable at $542. Jesse also spent time checking out a small issue with a toilet and discussing drainage issues in my yard. He was generous with his time in answering all my questions. So, I'm pleased with the service I received and will call Flowrite again.

Excellent service Came by, helped me solve the problem, Leak fixed They were on time & very polite

Flowrite gave us an estimate of almost $1700 for a job another company charged us $500 to do. Everything is working perfectly now, for less than a third of the cost Flowrite would have charged. Nice guy, but that's a huge price difference...
