Flow -Wright Plumbing came to our home to replace a water heater under our home warranty. Would not replace the part with out paying addition cost (more than double the cost of the water heater) that "John" would or could not explain. Continued to accuse me of being argumentative because I asked for an explanation of the cost. Very poor customer service.
Took my $75 service fee without doing anything. Insisted on cash. He said all cost needed to be paid in cash (big red flag) because the banks were not open (covid).
I think this company needs a visit from the IRS.
Don't waste your time or money with these people.

Had a stopped up toilet. I removed to see if I could fix. I augured , got running again. Put toilet back on to use. Backed up again so I removed toilet and snaked it again but when running hose water it would back up so left toilet off and called my home warranty company. They had 3 plumbers in the area. First never called me back. Ten days later I get "John". He shows up in a personal truck, red f150, with no decals, no indication he is even a plumber. And no tools or equipment I could see. He ran water down toilet then tried up selling me on what he thought he could do to fix the problem. I know a crook when I see one and talk to one. I really feel sorry for ladies with no knowledge about construction, systems, or maintenance. This guy probably takes advantage of every situation he can. As you can imagine, I asked him to leave. Good luck! The rest of their techs may be ok, but if John is yours, may the force be with you.

HORRIBLE - Technician came out to assess a bad hot water heater. He would not give me a written estimate and tried to tell me I needed unnecessary parts. He also left the T&P valve open and it completely flooded my yard and wasted thousands of gallons of water. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

Had Fred Wrights come out (Preferred vendor from our home warranty company) to fix a leaky sink, leaky faucet and septic drain issue in May 2012. As of October 2012, I still have 2 out of the three issues unresolved and the guy from Freds quoted $9,000 (!!) to dig under my slab and fix the roots that had gotten into the drainage pipe. I called a second company to come out and paid them $227 to fix without digging under anything. Dishonest and incompetent company.

Bad, not honest, down right wrong!
Our home warranty company called Fred Wright plumbing to come out and fix a diverter that had broken just one month after a previous company replaced it.
We had already paid the previous company to install a new diverter in the tub handle and it was either not installed correctly or it was just a very cheap part. We had an agreement with the home warranty company that if "Fred Wright plumbing" found that the diverter was the problem again that we would not be charged a second time.
Joe refused to explain basic plumbing to the home warranty operator and instead told them that we broke the part ourself and on top of that told us that we would have to call and order the part and have it delivered before he could replace it.
The part was broken....but really....I am pretty sure I did not take the handle off and unto the part and break it and then put the handle and parts back on....pretty sure!
So we have paid $110.00 and now have no way to take a shower and must order the part ourself!
Joe is not welcome in my house again!

We have a home repair policy with First American and it is always thrilling to see the people, very often crooks and incompetents, they send out to repair things.
In this case it was a bad garbage disposal. They appointed Fred Wright, who sent out a guy named Dale. Dale said they did not have a disposal of the proper size but would install another for an extra $10.
Dale also said that since the drain pipe was not level, he would need an additional $100 to replace it. In further conversation he reduced this to $20.
So it would only cost us $30 in addition to the service call charge to get a new disposal.
We have encountered all these scams before and told him to either replace the disposal as per the contract or leave the property. We also told Dale he would be getting an unfavorable Yelp comment. He didnt care.
Next day, I went under the sink to examine the alleged unlevel pipe. I unscrewed the lock nuts on the pipe and was able to move it up or down to level it. No big deal. Dale was either too dumb or too crooked to try this.
We complained to the insurance company and they sent another plumber, who replaced the disposal as per the contract.
Fred Wright has a D Rating by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Why waste time with these doofuses?
