They took 3 1/2 days at my house to try and fix my AC issue. Instead of just saying hey maybe you should get someone who knows more about this brand of AC they kept trying to troubleshoot it. To no avail. The. On the last day thought maybe he would drain all my refrigerant and charge me 1200$ to replace it.
Dont think so. I still ended up paying a total of like 700$ for the 3 1/2 days but they left and never fixed the problem. Everything was the same as when they first walked through my door. What a joke. I use to use them for plumbing and other issues at my old house but I'm done with them after this fiasco.
Seems like they're doin anything to make a buck. Would not recommend ever again.
I had them replace a handle on an outside faucet, install a faucet I had purchased already and rework an outside faucet that was leaking. They charged me $800. I would had did the work myself but I have lost strength in my hands. They were here 2 hours.
Zach F.Great service. Technicians are very professional and trustworthy and do the most to get the job done the RIGHT way! Will call them every time for any of my heating or plumbing needs
Paul B.They are SOOO grossly over priced, so much that when I complained they reimbursed me a few dollars. Not really sure that their help is very good as it took all day to hook up 5 faucets after we replaced our countertops, 1 in the kitchen and both baths with 2 faucets in each. All the pertinent plumbing was already installed, all they had to do was drop in faucets and connect.
Well it was a cold snowy sat morning when the furnace decided to quit. Flow-Tech was the only company I could find that had the part available on a saturday. They knew they could gouge me just because conditions were bad. Price they charged me was 2x's normal cost of the part. The guy tried to justify it by saying he could not separate the cost of labor and material in their system so if I wanted just the part, I had to pay for their labor for me to install the part. He would have wanted another $400 to come out and fix it on a saturday. Can Yelp come up with a grading system that has negative stars, I would use it here.
Only called them because we had seen their trucks in the neighborhood and I needed to get a simple shutoff valve replaced on a toilet at my daughters house. They responded very quickly and everything went well until they presented the bill for the 15-20 minutes of work. They charged a $79 diagnostic fee , even though I had told them when I called that a leaking valve needed replacing. On top of that they charged $100 for installing a simple valve that costs less than $10 at Lowe's or Menard's. These guys really know how to put it to the retirees and single parents. I will not call them again.
After many times asking for someone to drain my pressure tank, put 25 lbs of pressure in, then refill, I bought a new one due to their insistence, that I needed to do so. The Manager ordered the pressure tank, not seeing my old one which was 81 gal. When the new pressure tank came in he called and quoted me the price $750.00 but didn't say how many gal. Thinking the workman told him the size, I agreed to let them install it. Turns out the pressure tank is a mere 20 gallon, same name brand, which cost $180.00 on the internet. Along with the pressure tank fittings was also installed, at the cost of $109.00. So the total cost for the tank and fittings was $289.00, making Flow Tech $461.00 for the installation. Now if they pay the worker $25.00 an hour, his total time here was close to one hour, Flow Tech made $436.00 profit and I got something worse than I previously had. Reason for replacing was the pump motor ran everytime when you flushed the toilet, got a drink of water, etc. Fearing I would burn up the motor that pumped the water to the tank and the cost would be very expensive, I gave them the job. If they would have agreed to drain my old one, put 25 lbs of air in the old tank, then refill, I really believe i would still have a quality tank. Flow Tech is in business to earn money and not satisfy their customers. A business like this will not prosper. I talked to the Flow Tech manager about this and his answer was, you need to find you another plumber. I talked to the Flow Tech owner and he stated the same. A meeting was scheduled before the owner talked to me. My advice, use at your own risk! (Edited) Sept 30th. I did hire another Plumber. He tells me my old pressure tank does not have a bladder (what Flow Tech told me had burst) and as long as my old pressure tank was not leaking, it didn't need replaced. So what my departed Husband did for so many years, (drain the old one, put 25 pounds of pressure in it, then fill back up) is all they would have needed to do, which is what I told them to do. As I said before use Flow Tech at your own risk. Mary S. Oct 15th 2017. After many weeks since Flow Tech did this job, they hesitantly returned $250.00 of the $750.00 I paid them. I had two options, let them back into my home to install a 40 gal. tank or accept the $250.00 check. Not wanting to admit them to my home again, I chose the latter option. Mary S.
Cheyenne J.Flowtech is a joke. They are overpriced, and so unprofessional. My fiancé worked there last year and was let go, let me add very unprofessionally let go, was told he was no longer needed and the owner just walked away, and we are trying to buy a house now and needed a good word letter from Flowtech, went in over a week ago to ask for the letter, asked them to call us when they had an answer, still nothing, we went back in today and was told they can't write the letter, because ""we don't feel comfortable lying to a bank"" how are you lying might I add. He was let go. We understand they won't write the letter, but they were very unprofessional by not giving us a phone call to let us know they wouldn't give us anything. I'm not a person to complain, but when my fiancé was let go very unprofessionally he left no answers to his questions, nothing. We have used their business before, and never again will we. So sad.
One star is too generous. After being charged for 2 hours at $95 an hour for a quick job that took them 15 minutes, the company is crooked at best.
